Panacea Rv Park - Waterfront site. - Panacea, Florida

After two days of driving, I finally made it to Panacea. I found this RVC park thanks to the Passport America app https://www.yelp.com/biz/passport-america-crestview?hrid=2kEfX4czrwNvR07gbmlaqw which gave me a 50% discount on my two day stay here. Awesomesauce! I was welcomed and pointed to my space, where I hooked up easily. The spot was level and despite neighbors on both sides, quiet. Some noise from the highway but not much and it got quiet after evening time. The RV park has a bathhouse where I enjoyed a clean and comfortable shower (why use the RV when there's this) and they also have laundry. There isn't much nearby for shopping - the closest supermarket and Walmart are a 20 minute drive. There are some restaurants nearby and a nice park that is waterside is a five minute walk. My only complaint is that the wifi was hit or miss, not being particularly dependable. Everything else was fine and I was on LTE with Sprint so it didn't matter. Please be very careful in this park. I was walking over to the bathroom from site 70 and slipped and fell and rolled my ankle and hurt my hip, knee, elbow, shoulder and back. They have water washouts along sides of camping sites. The grass was wet and I went down hard. Ankle and foot are super swollen and am still having a hard time walking. Plus had to go out and purchase an ankle wrap (19.99 - no one seems to carry ace wraps anymore) and an ice pad (7.99). Stuff is just so expensive now a days. This happened on day two of five. So disappointed. The park itself is very clean and quiet and I think we are the only non full timers. Nice enclosed pool and clean bathroom. There are no bugs here either. Location is close to all kinds of things to do. Tallahassee is only 30 miles away read more

This place is NASTY. The owner lets residents burn trash in the park. And I'm not talking cardboard and paper. Plasticks, clothes, it's disgusting. I was beside a person who was burning horrible smelling trash, and the owner didn't care. Also, the bathrooms are a joke and very nasty as well. The owner was very unhelpful and hard to work with. We stopped here hoping to stay 2 days but we had to leave in the morning due to unforeseen circumstances. This place was really nice!! Great trees for shade and the ladies were so awesome!!! Thanks to Stephanie and Cindy for being so nice!! We will give them great ratings because the park is undergoing improvements which is great and it is quiet and the people were super!!!! Maybe when we come back all improvements will be done! Also the shower facilities were very roomy! read more
