The pastries and service were delicious. While they do not have indoor seating, it was very pleasant to sit outside on the sidewalk and people-watch. We tried three different pastries: a plantain pudding pastry, a fruity meringue pastry, and a very unique peanut butter and chapulines cruffin. All were excellent. My only piece of constructive feedback is regarding the payment process. We had to pay for the pastries separately from the coffee, which made the experience less smooth. It would be much more convenient if everything could be paid for on a single check. Overall, it was a wonderful spot!

The outdoor seating is charming, surrounded by greenery and decorated with natural plants, which creates such a pleasant atmosphere to start the day. I especially enjoyed the Betty juice made with beets--it was fresh, vibrant, and absolutely delicious. The pastry selection feels endless, unlike anything I've experienced elsewhere in Mexico. During our visit, they were offering pan de muerto for Día de los Muertos, with a creative twist: a rich chocolate filling. It was outstanding! The first is that spellcheck changed the name of this pan de muerto to "himalaya ". The next is that the bakery borders Calle Tamaulipas which sounds a lot like Tamale Pass. Restaurant name idea? Maybe. Did I like it? It was fun. It was enjoyable. With so many choices in the city though, it may be a while before I return. Just too many places to try here.
