Red Cup is hard to miss,, just look for the giant red cup logo which is sometimes just the size of a tiny kiosk you see at a mall, but dont get discouraged, although small, these tiny kiosk produce some giant flavors.. They seem to specialize in the Frappes which are as delicious as they look in the pictures.. Not into frapes.. dont worry they offer regular lattes and ofcourse the local favorites such as pocillo or expresso as well as cortaditos and cafe con leche. What I really liked about red cup is that they use Cafe Yaucono which is a local coffee bean company that has been around 115 years..thought that was very cool. Other items offered are shaved ice and Ice cream,, yes this little kiosk does it all but coffee is there speciality.. If you are non-local and see these Red cups around, dont be scared or discouraged give it a shot you wont be dissapointed.

Rich and silky, with a perfect layer of foam. For my breakfast entree, I ordered steak and eggs, medium and sunny side. I ordered the mahi mahi plate. The menu says that you get one side plus a salad. They had run out of the first couple of items that I requested as my meal's "side." I ended up with rice & beans as my meal's side, and it was decent. They never gave me my salad. My son's grandmother ordered a virgin piña colada for my son. The bartender heaped whip cream on top. Once I managed to scrape that off & give my son the drink, he only drank a couple of sips before he said he didn't want it. He was already sweating from our hike in Cueva Ventana, so I was surprised that he snubbed the ice-cold drink... until I tried it. It tasted like pineapple syrup... SO SWEET. Too sweet to drink. We threw away that cup of drink that was more than 3/4 full. There's no indoor seating, which means no air-conditioning nor any protection from the weather other than a few table umbrellas. However, there aren't any other options for food within a 5 mile radius (unless you want to eat gas station food), and it's definitely better than nothing.

Nothing fancy but ABSOLUTELY DELICOUS. Pair it with a cafe con leche for the perfect snack before the tour. (Coffee might make you sweat a bit but very good coffee) My friends had the octopus salad with tostones and they loved it! Octopus salad is a sort-of ceviche style "salad". Top your tostones with mayo-ketchup and this salad for some flavor that's BIEN TROPICAL! Sorry no pics for this one. We were too busy eating and chatting. Did wanna share the experience though!
