EVERY THING All of the mailboxes were left open the other day with people's mail and they never closed it. We needed a signature for our package she wrote on the back she would be back tomorrow, which was yesterday. She never came back. It's taking me an hour and a half because the tracking number was wrong on the piece of paper. It was correct because when I spoke to them at the one 800 number they gave that to me and told me to call the post office at 8:30 well I called and of course nobody can answer. I called the 800 number again. I said they said you can go pick it up. I said what if she took it with her today it is gonna drop it off. We have no idea and you cannot communicate. We're at this that has to be signed or does this make any common sense? it is the worst Post Office we've ever dealt with. We've had so many issues when we lived on the West End. There was the worst Lady ever and now we live somewhere else and it's still terrible. It took an hour and a half for me to get Reel Liver not till Saturday for something that should've been here Tuesday. By the way she never rang the bell. Let me know if she was here. I am over this place. I would fire every single person. No one seems to know anything the UPS is rank. That's what it is. It's disgusting. Can you tell I'm livid. read more

I do 50 packages a day and it's getting better - The staff in the office are great. They do their best to resolve your issue. My postal carrier changes. Seeing I live in a condo, its different comments with different carriers. My normal carrier, she does great. Other carriers will say "cannot deliver" because they can't find parking, sometimes they use the secure boxes for larger packages and sometimes they don't. This is, by far, the worst run post office I have ever encountered in my 44 years of life. Not only did they "forget" to set up my PO box correctly, they sent back all my mail for several weeks and then rekeyed my box before my 3 months was over. I have a letter that specifically says a date, went to check my box before that date, REKEYED. They are quick to take your money and slow to provide service. you cannot get help without standing in line for 30 minutes to see a clerk, but even if you do, they'll tell you they will fix something that never gets fixed. Thank goodness this post office has a self service kiosk! When I arrived, there was a line of about 20 people. Initially there were three people working. However two of the people left the front desk and never came back, leaving their one colleague to help the 20 people in line. I ended up using the self service kiosk and thank goodness I did. Inside office staff, prepretty good. Kind and respectful people. The people on route, delivering mail are ridiculous. Not sure if it is lazy or what. If I could give zero stars that would still be too much. They do not bring mail that is needed to be signed for to doors. They just leave a note. If you sign note for them to sign or bring to house, they just ignore it. If you make time to go and wait in the post office (which is extremely under staffed) your mail isn't there. Therefore, wasting at times and hour or more. They put things in the mailbox that should not be put in it and cause the door not to open. Ridiculous! read more

RE: Panama City Beach Post Office. These are the laziest postal workers I have ever encountered. One day the postal worker put all of my neighbor's mail that had been collecting in their box, in my box! Why?? I had a small package to be delivered and the person suddenly decided that my box was not "secure" enough for this package and did not deliver it. I scheduled a redelivery, following the instructions on the website, and waited weeks to finally be informed that the package was sent back because it wasn't picked up. I've had the same PO Box for two years. I went and made a payment on it and I was waiting for my passport. I went to go check my mail and then my box is locked randomly. I just paid for a whole year on it and every time I go there no one will help me because the wait lines are 20 feet long. I call everyone and no one can help me. I want my post office box to change the date of start to whenever they actually unlock it because I've paid for two months of not even being able to access it. We have the worst Postal person I've ever had. She was supposed to drop off a very important package. She never came to the door and apparently I need to sign it so I went online and I was not able because the system is messed up to ask for a delivery so I called and they called me back and they promised me the re-delivery would be today. I even put note in the mailbox, well I hear her come up close to the door because my ring went off. She dropped a package and left. I went outside. She said oh I didn't bring it today. I'll just bring it to you tomorrow. Well we may not be here when she brings it, I want to file a complaint a formal complaint against her. This is not OK. I sent my son and his family's Christmas presents before Christmas. They arrived at the post office but couldn't be delivered for some reason. When I filled out a form to Redeliver the next day, I thought everything would be good. Not happening. A week later no presents have been delivered. They now say my son has to pick it up. Impossible as he works 50 minutes away and works Saturdays. His wife doesn't drive. My 5 year old granddaughter keeps asking "Where are my presents Grandma?" No one answers the phone. Absolutely the worst government agency I've ever dealt with. Mail person keeps sending our packages back saying our unit is empty. 6 packages in a row. Went to PO to complain. Asked to speak with the Post Master, well of course he's not there during operating hours. Was told they would speak to the delivery person when they came back in. Well it doesn't take a genius to figure out if it worked. Nope, they returned the package the next day and the one the next day after that. It's a Federal offense to tamper with the mail. If I could rate this post office with 0 stars I would. It is terribly mismanaged. In the last two years, the wait times are absolutely ridiculous. It does not matter what time of year it is or what day of the week. One person working is not acceptable. Today I arrived 10 minutes before open, and there were already four people ahead of me. It took 30 minutes to process four customers with one person working. Then when it was my turn, the man working had to go search for my package for 10 minutes while the 12 people behind me waited very patiently. My post man for the second time, chose not to deliver my package and thus created more work for the post office worker. Absolute trash excuse for a Mail service. All clerks were the rudest people I've ever ran into a at a business establishment. Angel was the supervisor. She refused to give me her last name for God knows what reason. I'm staying in a vacation home. My package was marked as Vacant. Within the hour of it being marked vacant I drove to THIS POST OFFICE and asked for my package and they told me it's already being returned to sender. Within 45 minutes of being marked Vacant. This post office does not care about its customers by any means. They told me that my package is being sent back because they don't want to take the send backs out the send back box. It had been one hour. Leads me to believe this is a DISCRIMINATION thing. I just talked to the OTHER supervisor and he refused to comment on Angels actions. What does that tell you? This is the worst Post Office in the Florida panhandle. Always understaffed with long lines of customers. I've waiting in line there over 30 minutes on many days, and I'm not talking holidays either. Many times there is only one clerk working the counter. It's a combination of a management problem, and they tell customers they are understaffed. Why? Just go across the bridge to any other Panama City Post Office and there's plenty of staff working the counters with very short waiting times. Combine that with poor USPS delivery with packages and mail often times left at the wrong address or mailbox slot. With the tremendous growth in Panama City Beach, it is shameful that the USPS is far behind in providing acceptable service at this Post Office. read more

This post office keeps returning my packages to Amazon rather than delivering them. I am renting a condo in the winter months. UPS and FEDEX have no problem delivering packages. Amazon has no way to say DON'T USE THE USPS for shipping. So I ordered something from Amazon and they broke it up into 5 orders and the post office delivered one and returned the others as "UNDELIVERABLE". Amazon claims there is no reason a post office should do this. This post office will not give me the order if I go to the Post office to pick it up, show them on the phone it is mine and provide ID. They literally will not give it to me if I am willing to go pick up. They say I don't have mailing rights. This is a busy place, so I did wait in line a bit, but the staff behind the counter were friendly and efficient!

This post office is horrible. Do yourself a favor and get a p.o. box, pay insurance on your package, certify your mail or send your package through another carrier if you have that option. Because at some point pcb post office will lose your package or mail. i can honestly say I have never had a missing package/mail until l had to go through this post office and it has happened to me 3x and counting! I don't know if it's the people that sort the mail in the back or the person who delivers to my area, but these people are TERRIBLE at their job. And it is not just me, where i live the postman is so bad at his job that my complex had to send out a text telling residents to please return mail/packages that were mistakenly delivered to the wrong address because it happens so frequently. And the post office even admitted it is an ongoing problem. If a business admits they can't do their one primary function then you would think someone higher up the corp ladder would step in and make some changes. So if you enjoy risks, enjoy throwing money away on packages you'll never receive, and wasting your off time in lines at the post office; all for nothing. There is a continuously repeating pattern in this office's delivery schedule. The ordinary mail is delivered with no problems, but if a package looks interesting/expensive, the problems arise. One pattern is: They mark package as delivered but it's not in my box. I called them and the lady suggested I should contact the sender. Really? Where is my package, b....(expletive deleted)? This pattern they repeated 4 (four!!!!) times!!!! Yesterday they delivered all mail except of a large fancy box of cosmetics. Later on, it was marked as " no access to delivery location". I have had a wonderful experience with the Panama City Beach Post Office. In one week I have had issues with two different packages. The supervisor that I spoke with over the phone and in person at the store were very kind, took their time with me and were able to solve my problem. My son moved to Panama City Beach and just moved to a new apartment. I had ordered several things from Amazon to be shipped to him way before his birthday on May 5th. They were all going to be shipped on time but someone at the Panama City Beach Post Office didn't try very hard to find his address because UPS found it just fine and delivered one of the items. His others are not being delivered because they said "wrong address". I am just livid that my son didn't get his packages....and they still are not being delivered...because someone was too lazy to find it. As I said, his friends have gotten mail at the same place just fine! So disappointed and mad!! Thanks for ruining his birthday surprises so far away, and I am working on still having them delivered.
