ADDENDUM: To anyone leaving a Yelp, Google or FB complaint review, I'd recommend taking the additional step I've filing with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). They are the go-to resource for sizing up a business's performance and trustworthiness. They maintain records on a dozen factors, including the company's history of handling consumer complaints. During my interactions with the BBB and the owner my takeaway was that even through the owner likes to use the policies in defending himself and his business...........the flaw in doing so lies in the fact that not all his staff were consistently following them. So let me just start this off by saying- that I never write reviews ! But this girl at The UPS Store - CONNIE- SHE DESERVES A RAISE!!! She went above and beyond with helping me return 10 items! All the items looked so similar and I had them all mixed up. So I did not make her job easy. What started as an overwhelming mess, Connie turned it into a pleasant and seamless experience ! Her patience & kindness exceeded my expectations. She was an angel helping me sort through everything and make sure I had the proper labels on all my items and they were all accounted for. The rudest woman I have ever encountered in this store worked on 6/4/3024. The younger tall male working with her must have been her baby Huey son. Instead of either of them asking us if we needed or wanted help, the young man walked up to us and stared at us when we asked him about why & how the copier decided to try and give us 125 copies when we pushed "1." As we we checking the empty copier paper drawer the castrating women yelled at us not to start opening up the copier. Listen WOMAN, where did you get the idea I was opening up the entire copier? You should do your job and be of SERVICE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. I am not your child and THANK GOD you are not my mother. read more

My review is just solely using their computer to print a document from my email. Just don't even.. The computer takes forever to start up. I ended up just sending it through their email and they print it for me. for 1 page it came up to $2.60. The staff are nice and helpful too. read more

I purchased Insurance for my package I shipped and when the receiver received it, it was damaged. UPS told me they didn't package it so they would not honor the insurance claim. I told the their employee actually packed my item in the box but she did it for free so I couldn't prove it. Don't purchase insurance unless you have UPS package your item and get a receipt showing they packaged it. That's bad business UPS. read more

I will never use ups store again in PCBeach. I will drive across the bridge to another owners store. The owner of this location is RUDE, unfriendly and I have encountered this not just once or twice but more than 5 times. I suspected they were price gouging as the quotes on ups.com never match their computer quote. All her staff has a attitude. Today they argued about the size of my box. I had a tape measure in my car and rechecked length , width, depth and I had weighed it. When I asked why my quote did not match she got real irritated told me I could ship somewhere else they were not shipping my package. She infuriated me. Giving Ups a bad name. This is why I closed my P.O. Box I had here. I went across the bridge and ironically their shipping price was $8 cheaper? Now how can that be? My package was same size . I walked in on Wednesday asking for something printed by Saturday and was not surprised that it was not possible. However, I was told that I'd get something to review and approve before Friday. The fellow that helped me is also the person who does this. Today is Monday and not only is it not being worked on, I had to wait for my example card to be found. So very disappointed in the UPS Store. I have used many in the past, but this one takes the cake!! I shipped a package (daughters contacts) overseas. I spent $143.00 to send them only to find out later I could have spent much less. I was encouraged to insure them at a value of $200. When they tried to deliver them, I was charged ANOTHER $75 for the VAT (Value added tax) of which NO ONE warned me of. Yet, If I had not gotten the insurance, it would have been nothing. So now, because of The UPS Store, I have spent over $200 to get this delivered. BTW, I could have waited the extra week and been charged MUCH less to ship them. I told them the date I needed them to arrive by, and was told the ONLY option I had was this 2 day service. This is not the only issue I have had from this store, just the most expensive. The other issue only cost me $100. Ya think I would have learned the first time out . . . . read more

I mailed a tablet that a guest left behind at my vacation rental property. They charged me over $10 for the box. When I questioned if there was a cheaper way to package it, the lady was very condescending and asked if I wanted to go and get my own box. The post office was closed due to it being a holiday. I commented that I should have packaged it myself. The lady then asked how much I rent my vacation property for, and said that she would shop that as well. Unnecessary snarkiness and unprofessional. I've been trying to close on my dad's house up in another state, so everything was done through mail and overnight shipping... besides my printer not working and being computer "illiterate ", lol... I went to the UPS store...I had to go probably 6-7 times with different papers...one time they had just closed but we're kind enough to let me in, download some papers, notarize them and them make copies of everything... 41 pages! The employees were always VERY VERY helpful, friendly and professional... I can't say anything bad about them or the store! I would definitely recommend them! read more

I was very impressed by the service I received here. I went with a odd and complex problem, namely a new job with an online company that wanted my hiring documents notarized through their website, rather than a paper copy to be mailed. The employee, Adam, could have very easily and legitimately told me that they could only notarize paper documents and sent me on my way. Instead, after getting the ok from his boss, he said, "let me take a look and see what I can do!" It turns out that the process mirrored the paper notarization enough that he could do it, and I was able to accept the job offer the same day. Adam was willing to go above and beyond and make an extra effort, and it means I'll be visiting this location again when I need any other UPS services. read more
