Several major issues: 1. Tables were unclean. Not just one but three out of eight tables in the room. 2. Had to wait 40 minutes to get food because they had to cook every other time. This was not even lunch time. No reason for them to be unprepared. 3. Understaffed- only 1 person serving, one chef, and one cashier. Lost valuable time of traveling because of these major delays. This is my first time at panda Express and I'm kind of disappointed. I got the broccoli beef and orange chicken with chow mein because that was pretty much all they had. I was really surprised by this place. My husband and I tried this restaurant on a whim and expected the food to be the same caliber as those cheap Chinese fast food restaurants in the mall. You know, the ones that are always trying to lure you in with soggy free samples? But the food was fresh and the atmosphere contemporary. Not to mention that we didn't have to deal with the mall food court crowd. I found myself mesmerized by the beautiful tiling behind the soda fountain and the bathrooms were clean and the fixtures up to date. I had the Orange Chicken and the Beijing Beef while my husband had the Shanghai Angus Steak and the Sweet Fire Chicken. The Orange Chicken was pleasantly crispy while coated in a tangy, slightly sweet and mildly spicy sauce. I can see kids loving the Orange Chicken. The Shanghai Angus Steak was amazingly tender and the sauce was amazing. The prices were very reasonable and the portions HUGE. We were able to order two entrees, an eggroll, pot stickers and two medium sized fountain drinks for about $20. The staff was friendly and prompt. We have since been to this restaurant three times and plan on making this a frequent stop. read more

Super disappointed. I have visited this location multiple times in the past, and had no issues, but in recent months things have taken a serious turn. I usually like to stop here after grocery shopping on Sunday mornings because it's centrally located and (in theory ) quick. I never like to make a quick judgement so I've given them a chance the past THREE weeks. The first week I arrived at about 11:30 and the doors were locked and no one would greet me. I figured this was an honest mistake because of the time change, so I brushed it off. The next week they were open, but it was a nightmare. The employee on the line must have been new because they didn't know what was happening and gave me food to go with NO LID because they couldn't get the lid to attach. Half the food wasn't ready, and none of the tea. Then today I tried again. They open at 11 (in theory) and I was there at about 11:15 and again the doors were locked. There was an employee in side, they ignored me, but when another family attempted to enter, they came to the door and stated that they would not be opening until later but did not offer any explanation. Guess I'm gonna have to try to find egg rolls elsewhere. read more

Not impressed with the Florence Ky store. I have been a long time fan of the Panda and anxiously waited for our local store to open. Oh my, are you serious! We have visited the store 3 times and what a let down. Couldn't eat what we were served the 1st two times and walked out the 3rd because of lack of service and displayed food. As I mentioned previously, I have been dining with Panda Express for the past 5 years during my travels to Indianapolis and Columbus. We finally had one open in Cincinnati about a year ago that I went to frequently but when one finally opened near my home I was excited. What a shame to open a new location without bringing in experienced staff that knows what they were doing. By no means am I knocking Panda Express " it is great food for the price" just the local chain. PLEASE, PLEASE fix our location. read more

One of my favorites. Just moved here from San Diego CA and I was so glad to see one out here. If something isn't cooked right they will fire it up fresh for you. Also ask for the pot stickers right away or call in ahead of time. They only make them when ordered. And they are awesome. I think because it's so new out here not everyone gets it or likes it. I really like Panda Express and I've always liked the food at any location- occasionally I've gotten an item that isn't hot but just warm here but overall I like it- I consider this fast food Chinese... Not "authentic" take out Chinese - they are two different things. One of the workers here is especially friendly when I brought my child in alone he helped us to our table and filled up our drinks and stuff so I didn't have to leave my daughter alone! Excellent sauces. The Beijing beef is amazing! Fresh veggies, fresh food. I wouldn't be deterred by those few 1 star reviews. If they are low on an item, they are already in process of making more. I did not like the food at all this evening, first off when we went in I noticed that there was maybe 3 peace's of broccoli in the vegetable mix and it was only a half scoop left, { didn't want to wait } so I just got the rice. I also noticed that a lot of the good on display was dried out and did not look good at all. I got the teriyaki chicken once we got home we noticed that the food was cold and old food, the rice was not cooked right and was not all the way done. I went with high expectations. A Chinese food chain SHOULD be good. Don't waste your time or money with this place! I ordered the Black Pepper Chicken and the (something) beef with chowmein a side of crab reguin(sp) with an order of spring rolls. The chowmein was dried out so bad it was rock hard. It literally crumbled when I would use my fork. The crab reguin was the same, extra stale and ice cold! The chicken was just gross all the way around. The best part, the beef. Not enough though for me to ever go back. I don't see this place being open for to much longer! I went to Panda Express today and got food and they were only offering things that were already made and it was 9 so I do understand but charged my friend the same price and a little more when they said it would be 50% off. We sat down and starting eating and my first piece of chicken I eat was brown/pinkish inside and I didn't know what to do. BEWARE! I'm So disappointed in this panda express! We arrived at 10:55 AM they had opened at 10:30. There was virtually only 30% of the menu items ready for sale. Everything you tried to order they said they did not have and that it would be a long wait while they prepared. There were four workers only one was cooking two were walking around doing nothing and one was taking orders very rudely! I waited over 30 minutes for one entrée. When they finally gave me my teriyaki chicken it was just grilled chicken with no sauce. That is not teriyaki chicken that's just chicken! I took it back to the counter and ask where the sauce was and they said oh we have to heat it up - they had not even made the teriyaki sauce yet! And it was not ready for another 12 minutes! This is supposed to be a fast food restaurant! Not a 45 to 50 minute process to get your order. The first time having panda the food was so good I wanted to go back again. I returned weeks later and the food was horrible tasted like a child tried cooking their first meal, I couldn't believe it the rice was hard no flavor the meat was warm there were no veggies, half the pans were empty. It was just horrible I was so upset with how the food was presented I got my money back I wouldn't recommend this place this place should not be considered Chinese it's more like a piece of crap. I've noticed they don't have set cooks anybody could cook the manager should taste his product before allowing them to dish out dog food lol to customers lol. On New Years Eve at 7:25pm I pull up to this location and employees are cleaning and the doors are locked. I tried to call their number and it's busy. I sat in my car for about 10 minutes calling other locations. The other locations closed at 8:00. The time I sat in my car I watched three other vehicles pull up and try to go in. They were still getting customers so I'm not sure why they closed so early. read more

Let's start by saying, I love Panda Express. Their food is fantastic... When it's available. I walked in today at 11:55am, right before the lunch rush, to get a fairly simple meal... Half white rice, half veggie, and two common dishes (beef and broccoli and mushroom chicken). They were out of both main dishes and told me it would be 5 mins. I said fine, I can wait, at least it will be very fresh. To their credit, they offered a free soft drink. So, 15 minutes pass, and no food. I walk to the counter to ask where everything is. Mushroom chicken was made, but no beef and broccoli. She said it would be 10 mins to make beef and broccoli, so I go to change my order because I can't keep waiting. They are now out of steamed veggies. Mind you, the two cooks were cleaning instead of cooking this whole time. So after 15 mins of waiting, I got about half of what I ordered. I don't know if the management is being cheap and understaffing or telling employees not to cook until ordered to prevent waste or what the deal is, but you should have a fully stocked line when lunch rush is about to hit. I'll continue to love Panda but would think twice about this location. read more

She immediately says we're out of orange chicken & our kitchen is closed so we won't be able to make anymore. Right then & there all my hopes & dreams are crushed I mean absolutely shattered. I told the lady I guess I'll go somewhere else. So now I'm sitting at Hooters drowning my sorrows in Budweiser since they don't have some good ole Busch Light. I mean it was 8:50 you don't close till 10:00 something seems off about closing the kitchen that early. Maybe it's because you're in a rush to get out of there back to your boring ass life.
