Keep in mind, this review is for take out only. The atmosphere of this buffet is not that appealing. Dont get me wrong. Its just the take out is so smooth and fantastic I prefer that way! Its American style Chinese food. You can walk in, grab a togo container, fill up, pay by weight, and go. (So much value in just getting meat and making rice at home) OR order online and pickup which tastes better than the buffet. Their food meets all my expectations for a restaurant of this caliber. Its good and worth the prices! My family even did an Xmas dinner from here. The cashiers have always been attentive and nice towards myself at the register. I was charged fully for her didn't get a drink or was asked what would she like. so we eat I have chime so I move money from savings to checking walk outside to smoke my husband says did u move it my response is yes of course I did shows the money being taken out of my account owner says no u didn't pay maam yes I did it's showing that the money was taken out nope charges me again then proceeded to call the cops and the cops side with us! it shows where u charged her twice! then proceeded to tell my husband this isn't the first time we've been called here for this situation! so please be safe when spending money here I wouldn't advise it! read more

Went in for Sunday buffet - I have had better take out. Tea has some flavoring to it, it is not just tea. Not really unpleasant but rather have just plain oolong or darjeeling. Buffet was pitiful, egg roll full of cabbage and nothing else. The only shining star was won ton soup and pudding. read more

I brought 30 people on a bus trip to China City. we told them ahead when we would arrive and they had our places prepared. the food was fresh and hot and NO one had anything bad to say. the sushi was super fresh. the ribs were tender. everything was just wonderful. It's a very typical small town Chinese buffet. Same type of food and same heavy handed flavoring. Service is good and staff is helpful. Place has sticky chairs and table. I'm stuck in my hotel without a car and need some food. This was one of the few places that deliver to my hotel. I never expect great things from Chinese take out because every menu seems to be the same (except the weird ones where they feel the need to add corn nuggets or something) and the quality isn't always great. Mapo tofu- I'm not a general tso or sweet and sour kind of person and so I try and stay away from those dishes and stick with ones that I'm familiar with. I was surprised that this dish was decent! I also told them to add pork (usually ground pork) and make it extra spicy. While the sauce is more just like the average brown sauce and not the true ma-la sauce, it made me happy enough. I encourage Americans to eat more of this. It truly is an underrated dish when made right. The steam dumplings were actually steamed and not boiled!! And you can actually taste the meat! Can you tell I don't expect much from take out places? I believe there were 8 or 10 dumplings for around $4 so not bad. 3 stars because my hot and sour soup was neither hot not sour and the lady who took my order was incredibly rude. It's like I was annoying her by placing an order. I hate that! And then the delivery guy gave me the stink eye like I just insulted his family honor or something. If you judge your restaurant by their bathrooms this is not the place for you. The bathrooms really need an update and are trashy looking. I had the crab ragoons, they were delicious. The food was over cooked, and the chicken was rubbery. My husband had other entrees and it was greasy. The areas were clean around the buffet area which is nice but we won't be going back. It seems to be a popular place for other folks but not for us. We will keep searching for that perfect buffet. read more

This is a Chinese buffet in Florence. It's not the most glamorous buffet ever but it definitely has it's good points. The pepper chicken was definitely my favourite thing that I got from there although the General Tso chicken was pretty good also. Also my wife really liked their sushi bar as well so there's that. Their crab rangoon fell a little flat for me as there was no crab flavour whatsoever. The rest of the stuff I tried was kinda middle of the road. Lastly it's a rather inexpensive price tag so that's a positive. If you're looking for a cheap lunch or dinner that isn't half bad then give this place a try. read more

My mom me and my grandmother went there today for lunch and all of us felt sick as soon as we left everything tasted the same the crab Rangoon's tasted like the crab was spoiled very very nasty it smelled from the minute you walked in! They were taking plates from us before we were even done my grandmother has had two strokes and is unable to use one side of her body so it takes her a little longer to eat before she was even done they were taking her plate I will never be back to this place again read more

It's completely unfathomable that this restaurant is getting bad reviews. I've been there many times. I'm from the Louisville area, but work at Turfway Park, and this is convenient. It's the best Chinese buffet I've been to, and I've been to over a dozen. I don't eat mammals, so I can't speak for those dishes, but the seafood is awesome. Great vegetable fried rice, always fresh and tasty, and conveniently next to the shrimp-broccoli-fresh vegetable mix. Great mein dish, lots of fresh fruits, lots of desserts, and just plenty of everything. I can't imagine anyone not finding something they like, because this place has more variety than 90% of Chinese buffets. The price is more than reasonable. I don't see how they do it. The service is awesome, the food is awesome. I often try the fried chicken wings and drumsticks, but have to mix my own sauce, but they have plenty of sauces to choose from. I'm pretty sure the bad reviews are from jealous competitors. This place is perfect. It was a well kept secret for years, but I notice it is getting more crowded. The first thing you notice upon entry is a sign requiring you to sanitize your hands. No problem as I was just coming in to order takeout. I then noticed the buffet was open. After last week's ghastly experience at a different chinese buffet I was hesitant to try buffet style eating again so soon during a pandemic but what I saw at the buffet impressed me. Signs requiring you to wear a mask, use the supplied gloves at every visit and limit your time at the buffet (no talking or congregating). I wish I would have taken pictures of the signs as it was quite clear what behavior was expected. There was a man at the head of the buffet reminding customers to use gloves. I had a front row seat and he was on top of his game enforcing the glove rules. Seating was scattered about for customer social distancing. As for the food, nothing has changed. There is a full menu available. If you have visited here before then you know what to expect. I am very pleased to see the owners take a responsible role in caring for the safety of their customers. I plan to return here the next time I have a craving for Chinese food. read more

Two nights ago I ordered szchaun (sorry can't spell) chicken and mixed veggies. The fried rice was delicious, spring roll was good, but the chicken was weird. It had awkwardly large pieces and it lacked in flavor. Now the next entree was the mixed veggies w brown sauce-I kid you not it was like 5 pieces of onions, 4 pieces of carrots and the rest was all broccoli! I feel as if I paid for a container full of broccoli. Due to the lack of flavor, weird portion sizes in both entrees I will not be ordering from here again. read more

This place is absolutely filthy looking. There are glass dividers above some of the booths that haven't seen a shot of Windex in who knows how long. The vinyl upholstered seats in the booths are disgusting. How difficult could it be to make a few buckets of sudsy disinfectant and wipe them down? The chairs look the same....wipe them down, PLEASE!! When you pick up a bottle of soy sauce on the table, it feels slimy and disgusting. I won't be going there ever again, unless I hear that the Health department comes in and makes them clean the entire place from top to bottom. If the seating area is this filthy, it leaves a lot of horrors in my mind as to what the kitchen looks like and how safely the food is prepared. Now for the food. In the past, the food has been pretty tasty. But with the continued decline in the cleanliness of this place, I don't think it's even safe to eat there. read more

You grab a 'go-box' or two, fill the box(es) with whatever you like, they weigh it, you pay it. $3.99/lb. One of the better buffets around. To make a fine point about some of the negative reviews - if you are expecting 5-star quality food from a buffet, you obviously don't get out much. The point of a buffets is to try many different items for a decent price. But as far as buffets, this place is pretty good. It's about the only one we go to anymore (there's 1 on Colerain Ave that's really good). Just don't show up an hour or so before they close, as with any buffet place, you are less likely to get fresh made items. read more

By far this is our favorite Chinese Restaurant. Recently we have traveled to several different states and could not find another Chinese restaurant that we liked as much as this one.
