I've been coming here for years and the food has been consistent. Since covid, there's been a lot of employee turnover, but one consistent gem at this location is Sanju. She's great and makes this a great place. Now that there's "beyond orange chicken", this is head and shoulders above all other restaurants in the area. read more

Worst panda ever. Slow service, horrible customer service, once our food was actually done (we were sitting at a table waiting), I saw it sitting on the counter while the girl was cleaning something off to the side, they never even brought it to us. It sat there until my fiancé went up to the counter and asked if it was ours, then she handed it to him. After that, I go up to the counter to ask for soy sauce, and the other girl just walked rite by not acknowledging me at all. I work in customer service, I understand busy, but there is a certain way to handle it, to make sure your customers are happy. The one girl gave me a free soft drink for waiting, but the age of our white rice, and taste of everything else brought that down as well. This is the first Panda Express I've ever been to. The place was kind of hard to find. It's not a separate building facing the road, but part of the Lakeside Plaza. So if you are lazy and like to go through the drive through when you buy your food, then you should not go to this store location. (I believe there is another location on Day street?) The inside of the restaurant was nice and clean. The cashier was friendly and greeted me when I walked in. I ordered a two entree plate of chow mein, kung pao chicken and mushroom chicken. I had actually wanted to try out the eggplant tofu entree that was listed on the restaurant chain's website, but this location did not have the entree when I came by. I thought the portions were pretty fair for the price I paid ($6.73). I liked the mushroom chicken, though the cooked cucumber slices in it had a kind of unappetizing-looking, congealed substance (Snot-like) look to it. They still tasted good to me, but the appearance of the cucumbers might irk some. The entree had plenty of chicken and mushrooms with some cucmbers. The kung pao chicken was alright. I like spicy foods, but I didn't really like the peppery, spicy taste it had. The entree also had a good amount of chicken, cucumber pieces, and red bell pepper pieces along with some pieces of hot peppers and peanuts. The chow mein was different from the chow mein I've had at other Asian restaurants. The noodles were a thinner type and very crinkley. The noodles were also somewhat dry and chewy. I am in Moreno Valley a lot more often for work now and finding different places to eat hasn't always been easy. Today my boss spotted Panda Express. I have been wanting noodles... Panda Express is in the same shopping center as Stater Brothers and next door to Subway. The employees were friendly, the food fresh and the place was clean. My boss has Orange Chicken. I had a double portion of vegetables. I have been spoiled in Orange County where I can get a Tofu dish or an Eggplant dish, hopefully that will be on the menu in Moreno Valley one of these days. read more

Love the food, everyone who works there is super kind and welcoming, favorite fast food place (in the Chinese category) for me personally!

My husband and I went to this location to grab a quick dinner for our family. As soon as we walked into the location, the employee greeted us with a smile and informed us (extremely apologetically) that their system was down. She explained that we could still place an order but through their online mobile app. We proceeded to have a seat and placed an order online. No problem. As soon as we placed the order, I showed the employee my phone and she completed the order for us. Through the entire transaction, she was polite and empathetic. The other employees were the same way. We were extremely pleased with the experience even though they were experiencing technical difficulties. The employees were working hard to assist customers placing their orders and make it as positive experience as they could. Way to go Panda Express. Your employees are phenomenal! read more

Service is good. Food is good. I love that they have Lipton Peach White Tea. Beef Broccoli, Orange Chicken, Green Been & Chicken are great. Portions are quite adequate although they tend to heap on the rice or noodles. It's next to Subway and Stone Cold Creamery, not far from Jack in the Box, across the street from Popeye's Chicken and McDonald's - all very convenient to Riverside Community College students. For starters it was 10 minutes late to opening the store. The second part of my experience that they had none of the food ready. Next is the customer service I received was she had an attitude towards me being there when it opened. The floors were sticky and it looked really dirty. I mean it barely opened how can it be this way. I saw the cook smelling the pans to see if they smelled or were dirty. What kind of hygiene is that. Been to this location a few times with great food and great service but this last time (about 30 minutes ago) was one of the worst, if not THE worst customer service experiences I've had ANYWHERE. This girl...... That had the name tag Rudy......which is exactly what she was RUDE, should really look into a different line of work if she can't even smile or greet customers. Had to repeat what we wanted several times for her to actually do it because she was too busy flapping her gums behind the glass when she should have been paying attention to my wife and I's order. And at the end....I asked for a large drink for my wife and I to share, apparently she was too busy, again, chatting behind the register to hear it and didn't give it to me. So I asked where my drink was and RUDELY......TOLD me I didn't order one, hmm alright yeah I don't know what I ordered. They were out of pretty much every entree and it was a 10 minute wait, so I had to modify my order and order what was available. I still had to wait because they were also out of the mixed vegetables. I really love this place! They have fresh food and good service. It is always clean and I have never seen it over crowded. I always get the honey walnut shrimp because it is super yummy!
