The food is decent fast food American Chinese, although I have to compromise and eat shrimp if I want protein here, since they no longer have Beyond Orange Chicken (I wish they would bring this back). My son (eats meat) likes the regular Orange Chicken. Spring rolls are fine. The Tuscaloosa location is one of the cleaner ones I've been to. My favorite item is the unsweetened mango passion fruit tea. Service at this location was good. I can't give 5 stars since I can't get plant-based protein here. read more

We stopped here for a bite to eat on our way to Atlanta. This location is fairly new, and there is lots of construction surrounding the building , so it's sure to grow in popularity. We utilized the drive-thru in order to save time. The wait wasn't long, and out food was served hot and quick. We bother order just a cup of water.. and it was literally a child's size cup. Maybe holds 6 ounces?! I need more water than that when I'm eating! Overall, a good experience. Chinese food isn't super conducive to eating in the car, so next time we may go in and eat inside. read more

This used to be a decent place to eat but has recently become one of the worst in the area. Drive thru usually can only accept cash and usually only has 1-2 items on the menu. Complain and you are met with attitude. I believe this is just extremely poor management and lazy workers that do not want to cook more items. Avoid if possible. Sadly, I have to leave a one star for Panda Express. The food has always been decent, esp for fast Chinese food. It can definitely satisfy that craving. Sadly, we found a major issue when we came here the other night - cross contamination with the food. After finding food that should not have been a part of our order mixed inside of our to go box, we tried calling the location, but could never get a call through. We called the corporate office, and they understood why we were concerned about cross contamination, as we have family members who are deathly allergic to certain items. They heard us out and helped abate our fears. Sadly, we later received a call back from the manager who was very rude, abrasive, defensive, and condescending. He did not want to hear about food allergies, and that they could not guarantee there would be no cross contamination. This was due to the fact that everything is cooked in the same wok, and is only cleaned with water. He informed us that if we were allergic to something that it would be best to take our business elsewhere. While I do understand the business impact, I think the approach could have been handled better. How about a sign that warns customers? And a manager should never have that kind of attitude towards a concerned customer. As much as it pains me to say it, I think we will follow his suggestion and take our business elsewhere. My wife and I stopped by on a Sunday morning around 10:50 a.m. When we arrived, only a few entrees were ready and the sides looked like they had been there for a while. This particular location looked understaffed in general. We also deduced this fact from the level of messiness around the restaurant (tables and counters not being wiped down as well as no trash bag in the men's restroom trash can). The food was a little cold but overall cooked well and satisfactory. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this particular location for an early Sunday morning lunch. read more

Burnt yet cold, Teriyaki Chicken, cold rice, cold noodles, burnt spring rolls, dirty tables, no napkins, sticky cups of sweet and sour sauce, Sydnee was rude and trying to rush us to order, while no one was waiting behind us. I asked her to make a fresh spring roll because the ones to order from were all burnt, she gave me a burnt one from the pile I didn't want, when I repeated myself to her, she rolled her eyes and complied. My family wanted to go to Chipotle, I talked them into Panda Express and now I look like an idiot, because everyone's food sucked. I have always loved this restaurant, but over the past 4-5 months the food and service has really started to suck. While I chose Panda Express over Panera Bread across the street, I was disappointed right from the start. Panda Express had a Honey Chicken special being promoted. There were signs all over the store about it and a big one at the menu. When I looked at the entrees at the start of the entree bar, I saw they had the label but no Honey Chicken. When I asked about it, I was told the special was over. When I pointed out all of the promotional material, I was told that they just hadn't taken them down yet. WHAT?!?! In order to try to distract me, the server offered samples of their other entrees. And here I thought the old Bait & Switch routine was illegal. The reason I'm rating them 3 stars instead of 1 is because the employee I spoke with was nice and apologetic and then there's the food. Well, we were extremely disappointed in our visit here. We waited in line for 30 minutes in the drive through only to learn there is a limited menu. The menu consisted of the most favorite. Just b/c the majority of people like things doesn't mean we all do. Instead of having us drive up to the speaker to order. The food was standard Panda Express fare. We went at 6:30 for dinner last night and the dining room was fairly empty. We found a clean table and enjoyed our food. One thing I noticed is that the steamtable was well stock with fresh items being prepped and added while our group ordered. Not real Chinese food. I have tried to eat here several times trying to give it another try and walked away disappointed each and every time. The rice has no flavor and is usually VERY mushy and OVERCOOKED! Everything else I have tried was usually cold or not fresh and tasted like a microwave meal... and the portion size for the cost is really small although I have never finished a plate due to the poor quality I have received each time. Placed my order in drive thru at 8:10pm and was told there was limited options left available(that's fine)...swiped card at 8:18pm and sat at the window until about 8:23pm when she told me to pull around that they were waiting on one of the items...so why did they tell me to pick from the few they had left if I still had to wait on it to be cooked? I pulled around to join another vehicle...then three more join us! At 8:38pm cars started honking! The car before me said they were waiting 30 min so they drove back through the drive thru...I got out and knocked on the door to see if I could just get a refund because I had to get home! The 4 employees "working" were basically standing there and looked at me and went back to talking! At 8:43pm a dark haired girl brings EVERYBODY'S food out at once so my one plate was turned sideways with everything in one pile! I explained why I had been standing at the door and she smiled and said "Have a nice day!" There was no "I'm sorry!", "I apologize for your wait", or even an explanation! I was leaving with every intent to never return to this location again when I noticed the girl was looking for another vehicle...I told her if she was looking for the SUV before me that they went back to the drive thru because they said they had been waiting for 30 min! She spun around and yelled for an employee to "let her back in before she says something!" I've had issues at this location several times before but my husband and I LOVE Panda and give it chance after chance but this was it! DON'T EAT HERE! Service is slow! Employees are beyond rude! The mushroom, zucchini, chicken was yummy. The spring roll was good, too. The fried rice could use some work. Only the drive through was open, but even with four vehicles ahead of us, we received our food in a timely manner. Upon ordering, I chose an entree and the drive-thru attendant let me know that it contained peanuts. Although I am not allergic to peanuts (I do not prefer the taste), I thought that was very impressive and informative to prevent a reaction in the event someone with a peanut allergy were to order that entree. read more

I have eaten here multiple times giving this location more chances, i know that timing is everything when going to panda express, if you go during busy times the food is way different then going around 3pm. Best run Panda Express I have ever been to! I was just passing through the area, and decided to stop here to grab a bite to eat. Super great customer service, great food, and a very clean restaurant = 5 stars. I must add too that while I did dine-in, I noticed how quickly the employees kept the drive-thru moving. I hardly ever stop at the Panda Express drive-thrus since they're normally slow, but if I lived in this area, I wouldn't hesitate to stop at this one since I saw how fast they were getting people through the drive-thru.
