The Southgate Community Center is surounded by a park, a baseball field, playground, green space/soccer area, hiking trails and fishing pond. The fishing pond is what brought us to the center. Our Scout Troop had learned of it being stocked with trout days before our visit. (A number of Northern Kentucky ponds/lakes are stocked by the county.) Unfortunately, no one in our small group caught anything. A professional photographer was there conducting a photo shoot. This seems to be a very versatile area. There are a couple of parking lots. Plenty of parking for our visit. If something such as a baseball game, or community event was going on, parking may be at a premium.

The view, the gorgeous interiors, and the rich history were all things that finally led us to choose this as our venue for our wedding. But, above all else, was the venue owner - Roger Swonger. He went above and beyond to make our day as special as it possibly could be, and with his help, our wedding day went absolutely perfect. With just one planning session, and a couple of tours, Roger was able to guide us through the perfect day. He communicated well with all of the vendors, was able to provide an amazing wait staff, and bartender, and even thought of the small details - placing some flowers on our small wedding cake, putting a pen by the guest book, etc. Most importantly to us, as a now husband and husband duo, was finding a venue that was accepting. This was Roger to a tee - not only did he treat us with kindness, he guided us towards other LGBTQ+ friendly vendors as well. With his support and guidance, we had a wedding that completely surpassed our exceptions of what a wedding could ever look like in an area like Kentucky. I don't think there is any universe where we could have had a better wedding, and this is all thanks to Roger, and all thanks to having our wedding ceremony at Wiedemann Hill Mansion.

Also loved that they had porch heaters and blankets so you could still enjoy the view and be warm. The place is perfect for a 60 person wedding and really not crowded at all.

You have a half an hour before and after your rental to set up and clean up. The hall is very bright and airy. It's very clean and inviting. It's got a great little kitchen space, plus an island, and tables where you can put food, gifts, etc. It's got a bottom level, where the restrooms are. It's a great place for togethers. I'll definitely be renting again. I highly recommend Celebration Studio!

Last time was a visit to see the facility, do a little tasting on the first floor, and head up to the third floor sky bar for some real tasting. The facility is gorgeous, modern, new, and impressive. Their whiskey has a very distinct character that I love. It has to do with the char of their barrels, and I'm sure their grains... Which leads to a vanilla forward, sweet character that runs throughout their bourbons and whiskeys. Their spirits are absolutely outstanding.
