This might be the best Old Fashioned I've ever had! The Knowledge Old Fashioned is a must get at this hotel bar. Love the vibe inside - modern and well decorated. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.

This bar was about a 12 minute walk from my hotel, Embassy Suites by Hilton Cincinnati. I was looking for a place with decent cocktails and I found it. They did not have a food menu but that was fine, there were plenty of places with food surrounding this place if I wanted to get a meal later. The bartender was attentive and friendly. There were several folks in the bar at the time and some were dressed in roaring 20's outfits. I did find out there was a private roaring 20's party going on in an attached room that had an open doorway to the bar so of course I had to crash that to get a pic. Fun. I had a couple of interesting drinks and then headed back to my hotel. I stay in the Embassy Suites once or twice a year and will probably make my way back to this bar.

Knowledge Bar is an upscale lounge located on Madison Avenue in Covington. It's got a nice, intimate bar area and seating towards the back with large booths, long high tops and sofa/chair arrangements and horse-themed decor. The drink menu includes reasonably priced beers as well as wine, Bourbons and cocktails. I had an amazing pistachio cream martini that was not cheap at $16 but was incredibly delicious.

Nightcap views... I spent some time in the Cincinnati/Covington area for my friend's wedding. The night before, a group of friends and I decided to explore the town a bit and hit some bars. One of our stops was here. And I'm so glad we came.. The Knowledge Bar & Social Room in North by Hotel Covington (the hotel we stayed at) was intimate yet upbeat. You can tell this place is fairly new, so the locals are really excited about it. We walked in and immediately captivated about how beautiful it was inside. Especially with the full-service bar in the middle of the space. And the decor was tastefully done. Our waitress came over and told us a bit about the space and gave us some recommendations on drinks. Their menu is quite vast, but I went with one of my usuals - French 75. Which was crafted perfectly. We didn't purchase any food here, but we were told that light bites are available and they complement your drinks. This is an atmosphere that I aspire to experience with every nightout.

Very chic bar with intimate, romantic vibes situated on the first floor of Hotel Covington. Plenty of different seating options ranging from high top tables to cozy bucket chairs. Great cocktails, but you'll definitely pay a premium. This would be a great spot to grab a drink before or after dinner, but not somewhere you'd want to start a tab for the night.

Cute and quaint bar in Hotel Covington. Very personable bartenders and the drinks are excellent.

A very quite and calming place to hangout. We arrived right as they opened so I cannot speak how the vibes are later in the night. so loved the open half circle booths to allow groups to gather and communicate together. They had amazing cocktails that were berh unique. I loved how everything was made fresh and in front of you rather than prebatched. Bartender was attentive and answered all questions asked.

This place is gorgeous. The atmosphere is opulent. Now the drinks are crazy good and Kyler the bartender is an entertainer. My drink at the end was smoked. What a show

We strolled in here after noticing it coming out of the Hannaford, hadn't heard anything about it and honestly I'm glad we found it. The ambiance is so cozy and romantic, definitely great for a cocktail date night. They had live music and we went in on a Wednesday which was superb! Service was great, we were checked in on consistently, they were all very knowledgeable and friendly. Kelsey in particular spent so much time answering questions and explaining the concept of the bar, we really felt like we could sit and sip for hours. I ended up having one of her creations, it was a unique collage of flavors that blended so seamlessly. Can't wait to go back and taste more of the menu and maybe order one of the charcuteries they make at the bar.

The prices at Knowledge are truly eyewatering. - $92 for a pour of Elijah Craig 18 Year ($46 per 1 oz). This is a ~$250 bottle, meaning a pour costs the bar ~$20. A $72 profit margin on a $20 pour of bourbon is the highest I've seen anywhere in Ohio or Kentucky. - $50 for a pour of Don Julio 1942 - Double the price anyone nearby charges and even the market rate in OTR and Downtown. That's a $150 bottle, so again the 2-oz pour costs them $12.50. They even have the nerve after that to upcharge a few more bucks to "make it a cocktail". I think you can cover $2 worth of mixers in your $37.50 per pour profit margin. - $18 for a Mint Julep made with Woodford... I am shocked by how out of touch the pricing is with the local market. I have been to hundreds of bars in the Greater Cincinnati area, and this is the most expensive by a margin, but for what reason? Charging 2x, 3x, even 4x the prices of the other nearby bars for the same product is just shameful. I understand the "hotel tax" -- add 15%, whatever, we get it -- but what they've done here is not even remotely close to that. It feels to me like they're just trying to pad the owners' pockets. I don't get why anyone would go back here and pay these prices when they can take a 5 min walk to find an equally nice and more authentic vibe for literally half the price or less. It's hard to find a reason to go back here. OKBB, Wiseguy's, etc have a better selection, more casual vibe, better pricepoint, etc etc. What exactly is Knowledge's value prop... a nice ambiance and vibe, it's super dark inside? I would encourage the owners to give the community fair pricing. Their current pricing is not that. Every single person I've talked to about it has also mentioned how absurd their prices are. That says a lot. As someone who's been to nearly every cocktail bar & bourbon bar in Greater Cincinnati, I don't see this place lasting long at its current pricing. No one in OTR or Downtown charges these rates, let alone in NKY. We are in Covington -- this is not New York City, San Francisco, or Las Vegas.

Celebrated my birthday here a few weekends ago and loved it! We went early on a Saturday, there was plenty of lounge seating available. Everything was super vibey and cute. Drinks are pricey but that was understood before we got there so it wasn't a surprise. The bartender was really friendly and patient while I took 10 years to decide my drink orders. Definitely try the matcha martini, it was 15/10, amazing!

My bestie is obsessed with their low price on La Marca. I have tried several of their daiquiris and cocktails and haven't found a loser yet. They don't have food but that just means they are pet-friendly. There is plenty of food in the area (for pete's sake, OTR Kroger is across the street). Be aware it will be FAST. Look at the order ahead of time if you're a picky eater/drinker. They run your appointment like clockwork, and you'll be in-and-out, gulping down cocktails, through the entire experience. Your two drinks are included (this year, anyway), and I'd honestly be surprised if you managed to have time for a third. Time zips by fast. That being said, because they do it this way, you essentially have constant service, there's "events" that happen at the end of your reservation time, (I don't want to spoil it, but cover your drink!), and then they kick you out. Service was friendly, though, and I saw the server make time to take group photos for all of the tables (including ours) with someone at the table's camera. (No bullshit "group photo" upsells here) It's kinda loud, though, and I wouldn't recommend this as a chill meet-up-and-socialize spot. (If you wanna talk, they have an addendum, Christmas-themed laid-back bar next door.) It's more of a "get blasted in the face by Christmas for an hour and then leave" experience. It's pretty loud, and talking can be a bit difficult over the music and constant interruptions (more drinks? Photos? Cute Christmas video montage?) But this works in its favor as it feels the most Christmas, over-the-top, and seasonal out of all the holiday bars I've ever been to. It also keeps it from feeling too crowded as reservations are required, so you for-sure have a seat and you don't have to stand forever in line to wait for drinks. I'd probably guesstimate that bar staff is making all of their seasonal drinks, constantly, and servers just pick one up to deliver. With the capacity in here, it would make sense. No idea what the bar is like the rest of the year; this is just a review for the Miracle pop-up which, again, is probably the best I've been to in the Midwest. Cincinnati, you're spoiled down here. (Sidenote, I was absolutely taken aback by their TV presentation on the wall. It's hard to describe, but it isn't just a projector showing a giant rectangle. It's specifically slotted into the holes in-between holiday decorations. Staff told me that had to hire special technicians to get it to show up that way and that's seriously a level of detail I am so amazed by.)
