I always want to eat here and spend my birthday's here. Wonderful food upstairs and pizza and sandwiches down stairs. Fast friendly service and you can always do carry out, but what a beautiful view. Not sure which I love more upstairs or downstairs Wednesday is half price Pizzas but dine in only. This was our first visit and will definitely not be the last. We dined in the upstairs fine dining. We enjoyed a beautiful view of the bay from our table. Service was very attentive and timing spot on. We ate the Beef Carpaccio for appetizer. I both ordered from the fresh pasta options. I had the Tortoloni. It was cooked perfectly and stuffed with ricotta and spinach. Sauced with a light butter and sage, very light and perfect summer dish. Even though we took the food to go, the brick oven pizza traveled well and still had a perfectly crisp crust with delicious, fresh toppings. The flavors were authentic and the quality was evident in every bite. The price for two pizzas $34 USD. It's not always easy for pizza to maintain its texture during takeout, but this one did. They have great indoor and outdoor seating with ocean view. We'll definitely be ordering again and look forward to dining in sometime as well. read more

Hubby & I tried Pane E Vino for the first time when we traveled to the area with friends who have been coming here for years. The food/service/entertainment were all excellent. Our server was attentive & extremely knowledgeable helping to insure hubby dairy allergies were acknowledged. We ordered the shrimp appetizer to start. The shrimp was fresh & the cocktail sauce delicious. We then had pizzas 1- pepperoni without cheese (for hubby) 1- pepperoni & 1-margarita. They were hot, fresh tasting with just the right combination of seasoning, absolutely fantastic! It was a packed restaurant so we were glad we made reservations! The atmosphere was great with spectacular sunset views. They had live music with a great duo providing music (in English) that was well received by the locals & tourists. Beef Wellington review: The 4 of us had the Beef Wellington and although the steaks were cooked to order, the sauce was lacking in flavor. It just tasted bland which was a disappointment because we were all looking forward to this dish. The salad however was wonderful. read more

I've been coming to Rocky Point every year my whole life, and never tried this place before. Holy sh1t is the only thing I can say, not only is this the best meal I've ever had in Rocky Point but it's the best pizza I've ever had, period. They're making and firing the pizzas right in front of you, which you'd think would take a long time but I promise you we waited maybe 5 minutes for 6 plates of food. And to TOP IT ALL OFF, the view??? The view is actually insane, we came at sunset and it was like watching a movie scene. This is the BEST restaurant in Rocky point, whether you want pasta, a burger, pizza, or steak, (which we all got) it was AMAZING. 10/10 would recommend, a MUST try if you're visiting. read more

The waiters/waitresses are amazing and they go above and beyond to make sure you're visit is the best. Both times I've made reservations for parties of 7, at about 5pm. I went here last night with my family to celebrate my mother's 84th Birthday, and Father's Day for my nephew. It was a total of 7 of us and we got there around 9:30, close to closing time. They were very accommodating, professional and the food was served hot with huge portions, and was delicious! The view from our table was incredible (overlooking the city). Even though we got there so close to closing and with a party of 7, they sang HBD to my mother and was able to snap a few photos for us at the top level of the restaurant. Unbelievably beautiful views of the water (when the sun is not beaming into the windows) and great service/staff. We came here two nights out of the three we were in town for. I had the beef Wellington, best scallop potatoes I've ever had and the steak was cooked perfectly, and she had steak and mashed potatoes which she loved. We'd heard about how great this place was from the receptionist at Las Palomas. We had a few drinks at the Malecon on a busy Saturday night and decided to walk here for dinner at around 830 pm. Waze said it was a 21 minute walk and cabs weren't abundant, so at 57 years old and 64 years old we made the trek up the darkest unlit road I've ever seen. Although this incredibly steep incline almost deterred us, I presumed that the reward would be a special meal at a fantastic place. I was wrong. Out of breath, and with our legs about to buckle from under us, it was closed at 8:55 pm on a Saturday. Fear set in, realizing we were basically alone at the top of a dark hill. Fortunately, a man who probably makes a living off of tips that he gets from people who make the same mistake we did, got us a cab. What a mistake for us to presume they'd honor their hours on a Saturday. It won't happen again. read more

Always a 5 star experience at Pane E Vino. Call at 4pm and make a reservation for 30 min before sunset asking for a window table. They may have the blinds pulled until just before the "show" but promise they open the whole restaurant up just as the sun sets and it's an amazing place to have a romantic dinner when you are sick of street tacos! I opted for the night special which was Salmon Piccata. Absolutely delicious. My fiancée had the Grouper and equally enjoyed it. Come, order a bottle of wine, sit and enjoy the gorgeous sunset with those you love. It's worth it! If you aren't looking for something as upscale they have a pizza parlor downstairs. We didn't eat there this trip, but have been. Pizza thin, crispy and surprisingly authentic. Always grateful for the parking attendants! Parking is a little crazy at the top of the hill, but they will fit you in and guide you out. read more

Whenever we are here in Puerto Penasco, we always stop by this establishment. It has some of the best Italian food. Fresh ingredients and a wood fire oven make it some of the best pizza you will get. Make sure to dip the crust in their house made olive oil dressing. The herbs are locally grown by the owner's family. You'll see the various garden boxes on the balcony area. Also this restaurant has impressive views. We always sit in Johan's area; he's a local and is bi-lingual and speaks perfect English and Spanish. read more

My review is for the pizzeria downstairs, it works out better for our young family! This place is a must when in Rocky Point and always has great service and delicious food! The views are unbelievable, and we love taking pictures as the sun sets over the water. The menu was new on this last trip and we were disappointed to learn they removed the seafood pizza, but we were still happy with our other orders! We started with crab cakes, which were small and did not visually look that great, but they were tasty! We also did an order of clams in the butter garlic sauce, which was huge and delicious! The focaccia bread served with it is so fresh and is amazing dipped in the garlic butter, we save to dip our pizza crust in as well! This time we did three pizzas; the Pane e Vino, pepperoni, and Quattro formaggio (my favorite) and all were delicious! We have done the margherita and diavalo in the past that were delicious too! Our daughter had an order of the ribs and really enjoyed them too. An order of clams with focaccia bread, crab cakes, 3 pizzas, an order of ribs, 4 beers, 3 sodas, and tip was all less than $125, which I believe is a steal! What a great find! We were suggested to go here by many at our resort. It was fabulous. Located on top of the point, we sat outside overlooking the marina and the entire beach community. The amazing views led to an amazing meal. We had the saffron steamed clams and clam chowder to start, both so delicious. Then we shared their margarita pizza. The dough is perfect and chewy. This review may not be as in-depth as other Yelpers would like because this review is for one truly standout (for me) food item I consumed at Pane: The Chocolate Mousse. The service from our waiter was efficient and good. I had the crab cakes as an entree because I knew from previous visits the portions are generous. They weren't as crispy as I'd had in other restaurants, but they were fine. The view of the city from the balcony at night was cool, with the Hotel Viña Del Mar directly below us. But that incredible, rich, LARGE Chocolate Mousse was memorable. That Chocolate Mousse paired with my glass of Cabernet was the perfect way to end the evening. That Mousse makes Pane e Vino a destination restaurant for me. read more
