Went to Panera for the first time today. Ordered the tuna on a bagette, chips, large soda and a brownie. Cost me $13.50. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese to go. I asked that they put the cream cheese on the bagel as that's what restaurants do at least all the ones I've ordered a bagel and cream cheese at. They said they don't do that. I guess they expect us to assemble our own sandwiches as well. That's quite a trick to do going down rt 24 at 65 mph. Might as well eat at home. I love Panera bread but every time I go to this location, there's always a problem. Today I asked for a simple ham and cheese (didn't have bread I wanted) asked them to press the sandwich - they didn't press the sandwich and they made incorrectly.. they must've knew they did my order wrong and had manager give to me with attitude .. Panera bread is high-quality fast food. The coffee is very good and obviously their breads and baked goods are premise of their business. They have delicious sweet treats to enjoy in the morning or any time of day for that matter. This location is extremely busy at lunch time, so I suggest using their online ordering service to avoid long waits at the pick up counter. The staff is friendly and always asks if you have a My Panera card, which is a loyalty card that offers free items after spending a certain amount at their restaurant. Their sandwiches and salads are very good too. They change the menu somewhat seasonally. They offer fresh bread, an apple, or chips with their sandwiches as a side. Their chicken noodle soup is tasty also. They post the calorie count of each menu item and offer half portions and half sandwiches to assist their calorie-conscious customers. They have free Wi-Fi which is easy to connect to. My office often orders from here for company meetings and it is always enjoyed. read more

$6 bucks for a bowl of chili. Okay fine. Add the kitchen staff screaming order names and the cashier not offering a side option, making my order to go when I said I was dining in and not providing a water cup when I asked for one. The reason I give this Panera Bread two stars is because when I was standing in line an employee, right in front of me, was complaining that she didn't want to take me, as in take my order. She was making a big fuss about it waving her arms around and acting like a child to another employee. He was just saying wait until 5. That's your break. And she turned around, saw me looking at her and reluctantly took my order and then went back to complaining. "Accuracy Matters" according to Panera, but not to this particular location! Panera Bread Cafe 2116 is the closest one to our location, but in all my experience with Panera locations, this one is by FAR the MOST disappointing and infuriating place. The staff clearly doesn't want to be there and not ONE person gives ANY regard to customers' preferences or food allergies. The last THREE times we ordered food to go, they have constantly missed the mark. The most inexcusable miss is the fact that ON the receipt they acknowledged that the food needs to have NO ONIONS. Now, I shouldn't have to get into any medical history or explain my strong allergy to onions for a business, especially one that seemed to have a good reputation, to understand that my food that we pay for and spend time to get should not have any onions! This is a frikken lawsuit! These people pay absolutely no heed to customers and even take no pride in their jobs or establishment. As written on the receipt, they ask you to call because "accuracy matters" if there's any problems with your food. They'll fix it by giving you a free treat for your trouble. Well, how about this. When consuming food you're allergic too, one can't enjoy such free treats when you're puking up a storm from food allergies. Other Panera Breads never gave us such trouble so I'm not slamming Panera Bread as a whole. Let me be clear, it is THIS SPECIFIC LOCATION that needs to fix their ways and get off their lazy butts and start caring about their jobs. Corporate will hear about this. read more

I noticed that my cup of soup was about half way filled and the manager told me that this is their new portion size. So apparently they have been portioning wrong for years? If I knew that a half cup was the supposed new cup sized portion, I wouldn't have spent my money. I will no longer be going here. read more

This Panera location CONSTANTLY gets my order wrong, wether it's giving me the wrong item or forgetting an item. I have also noticed that they frequently will leave out an ingredient on their sandwiches, like the feta or the cucumbers, and more often than not do not include the pickle. The receipt clearly states on top the company's policy if your order is incorrect, yet not all employees there seem to be familiar with this. Unlike some of the other reviewer's I don't have an issue with Panera's prices as an occasional lunch spot if the food and service is on point, but whenever I leave this location it feels like a frustrating waste of money. Get it together Panera Brockton! read more

They shouldn't even get one star!! This is the worse Panera in the area... They are slow and that's a understatement... Waited 10 minutes in the drive through for them to tell me when I got to the window, after paying, they didn't have what I ordered so I changed my order got turkey sausage instead of regular and then for them to come back 5 minutes later to tell they didn't have turkey sausage but only regular... 23 minutes in a drive through for nothing!! Went another time and ordered a bagel pack, got there and they didn't have the order ready and I had to go back the next day to get it... They ended up given me expired cream cheese which we didn't realize was expired until it was almost gone at a business meeting...they screw up all the time and I'm not giving them any more tries. Never again will I go there and I would recommend you don't either read more

I am a fan of Panera, visiting there for lunch multiple days of my work week. This branch in particular I've been several times, and have never been wow'ed. Today was particularly frustrating as I waited for close to 20 minutes for my order, while watching people that ordered behind me get served first. AWFUL! waited forever for a salad and soup. at least 15 minutes if not more, and it wasn't busy. I ordered my usual Fuji apple chicken salad. they gave me a salad with onions, tomatoes, chicken, and dressing. forgot the pecans. forgot the Gorgonzola cheese. they even forgot the apple crisps! the salad is called Fuji apple! the croutons on my soup were stale. the atmosphere is very nice. they have a drive through which seems cool. but looks are definitely very deceiving when it comes to this particular panera. so disappointed read more

I work in this plaza so Ive been to this Panera on multiple occasions, hoping I might get them on a good day. I don't think they have good days though. The service is always slow. Its mostly the food prep people but sometimes the cashiers are slow too. One time it took them 15 minutes to make an ice caramel drink. I think they forgot the order and when I verified I was waiting in the correct place I got it 2 minutes later. Ive had them screw up my order more then once too. I ordered a grilled cheese and got the wrong kind of bread with it. Another time the person in font of me was asking to speak with a manager about getting a donation and the cashier girl stood and waited next to the manger who was on the phone for five minutes waiting to speak with him about it. I was an actual customer looking to pay money and was left standing there. I would only go here if you absolutely have too. Updated to add: They seem to be working on their wait time. They always forget apple in my roasted turkey apple and cheddar sandwich. It's in the name...

The employees are good but the decision to change their breakfast sandwiches to eggs over easy was a bad one. I bought a few recently and the option was over easy or scrambled egg. I got home and the over easy breakfast sandwiches had the egg yolk leaked over the whole sandwich. I asked if I can get the eggs over hard, was told they used to do that but it's over easy or scrambled. Someone in management should try an over easy egg sandwich themselves and I think they will agree that the idea does not work unless you want to use a ton of napkins. It did not help that my wife had a big hair in the middle of her sandwich either that she pulled out. Maybe this location should allow their employees to get tips like other panera locations as it might boost morale read more

I would eat Panera at every meal if I could. However, this location leaves much to be desired with respect to other Paneras that I have visited. The past half dozen times I've ordered lunch there, something has gone seriously wrong with my order. I love Panera so much that I keep coming back because this is the only one close enough to my office. Today's mess was about the avocado. I ordered avocado on my salad for an extra $1, and I got maybe 1/4 of an avocado (instead of the usual 1/2), and it was rotten. Not just brownish, but rotten. There was also a hair on my baguette - I'm brunette and this hair was white. That's not the first time there's been a hair. Usually the screw-ups from this location are wrong items, like bacon on my vegan salad, not usually actual rotten food. Last time the screw up was bad enough that I called to complain, and was promised a gift card would be mailed to me to replace the items; that never came. This stuff is expensive enough that it should at least be fresh and close to what I ordered. read more

I placed a order at 10:30AM to be here by 11:15AM-11:30AM. The driver decided to go across town instead of coming to me first which I was down the block. The driver never made it to me. We ordered sandwiches for 10 people yesterday. They were the worst sandwiches I've ever ordered. There was nothing in them! The turkey sandwiches had one slice of turkey and the Mediterranean was essentially a bread sandwich. I would not recommend ordering sandwiches here. If Panera no longer accepts telephone calls for take out orders, then you should allow customers to use their gift cards for online orders. Just found out that the only way I can use my gift card is to walk into Panera and order it there. It is a problem when someone has a 30 minute lunch and you have to wait 20-25 minutes for the lunch to be prepared. This is a terrible new policy. I like the concept of the online ordering, it's quicker, easier and more accurate, but if you're going to do that, you need to accept gift cards. read more

This establishment doesn't even deserve one star. I stupidly keep going back knowing very well that ALL the staff are SO RUDE. I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but they make it nearly impossible when they repeatedly treat me like a piece of trash and I am nothing but kind. I have worked in the food industry for over 5 years and I have never treated anyone so badly. My last and final visit to that store was horrible!! The counter girl rolled her eyes at her coworker when I walked up to the register. I said "hi, how's it going ?" And she made the worst disgusted face and said In the rudest tone "what?" Like I just kicked her dog! I repeated myself and couldn't believe what I just experienced! I kept being sweet to her because that's how I am and she asked what I wanted and I proceeded to tell her my order. Her phone made a noise and she proceeded to pick up her phone and look at it while I was in the middle of ordering. So after all that she was still rude but not as intense as when I first walked up. SO with all that said I will NEVER go back there simply because I am a nice person who treats people well and with respect! all the employees seem nice but the wait is horrible. too many Brockton high kids who are more worried about social scenes at work than the customers because hey, what do they care? the wait is longer than it should be most of the time, and my orders are accurate only about 50% of the time. and as all paneras are, the food isnt great and it is sooo overpriced. a small cup of over cooked tomato soup and half a sandwich with the skimpiest fillings just under $10 ----- I get way more, better quality food at white's down the street and pay much less. ps panera coffee is horrible. read more

I've gone to this Panera Bread at least eight times because my family really likes their food. The interior and exterior are always well kept and the staff has always been courteous and helpful. The reason I must give such a low rating is due to the fact that of the eight visits I've made to this particular Panera Bread only once has our order been made correctly. What usually happens is something is missing from the order, which is usually an extra like avocado or cheese and even desert items. The last time I picked up an order the meat from my sandwich was missing. I suspect the issue stems from using the Panera Bread app or perhaps a lack of attention to detail on the part of the staff, either way it's extremely difficult for me at this point to be onboard when my family wants to make an order. When I do get what I in particular ordered the food is good but when something is missing that I paid for it makes it just a little easier to convince my family to not make another order from this Panera Bread. read more

I was at Panera this morning early at 7:30, I ordered a coffee and a simple sandwich, there were no other customers except for the person in line behind me, I pulled up to window and I could see after a couple minutes my order was ready, but the Rude girl working at the window let it sit there for an additional 5-7 mins. while doing other things, mostly chatting with her co-workers, then finally came over and picked up my order that had been sitting there for at least 5 mins.
