First, I have to say our server was great! That's my only positive. My husband and I went here right after they opened and he wasn't impressed and we hadn't been back in years. I talked him into trying it again tonight and I wish I hadn't. He got a burger and he said it was fine. Nothing special, but it's hard to mess up a burger. Unless that burger is a turkey burger and they steam it. It fell apart as it was just sitting on the plate. It was soggy. There was absolutely no chew and felt like they minced it finely before they made it into a patty. We ordered from Brack's Grill last minute and couldn't be happier. Everyone was hungry, so we got a mix of things: eggrolls, steak & cheese eggrolls, chili, clam chowder, sweet chili wings, steak tips, and a Greek salad. Everything came hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Delivery was fast, and they followed all the directions we added (extra sauces and utensils included). Brack's is a likeable place. It has a THRIVING bar, requisite numbers of televisions tuned to sports channels, a standard (large) menu of American sports bar grub, which in my younger days were often referred to as fern bars. The folks behind the bar are very friendly, but that doesn't help them to avoid their dashing all over the place. The same can be said of the floor assigned waitstaff. As with any proper fern bar--oops, make that sports bar--the servings are plentiful, of food that is okay, so long as you keep to the sandwiches, burgers and salads, all of which resemble what you might find in a sports bar in...I don't know--Toledo or in Sioux City or anywhere in this country. Bracks also has some more unusual offerings, though, with some Portuguese (chicken merengue, etc.) and Brazilian items. On one occasion I ordered the merengue. It was okay and really lacked the depth of flavors you would find at virtually ANY specialty Iberian place (preferably a family-run spot!) in this area of Southeastern New England, or in other geographic pockets (like parts of New Jersey). So the attempt at merengue at Bracks is not unlike ordering barbecue at a Chili's. If it's the only place where you can find barbecue near you, well it will be okaaaaaayyy, but it's really settling. And so it goes for Brack's. I had the fish and chips on another trip. The fish was pretty fresh, and the coating was tasteless and soggy. Maybe their burgers really are the safest choice for food. Stopped in for some food and drinks. The food wasn't exactly blowing me away, but it definitely held its own. Let's just say I still managed to put down a good amount of it! What an absolute disappointment. It was like dining at Denny's. We went to our local location frequently. Due to our schedule, we had not been there in several months. They completely changed their menu, removing signature dishes that were our reason to dine there. Three of the four dishes at our table were a C-. The salmon was burnt, the turkey dinner was like cafeteria food, and the steak was an extremely small cut for the price we paid. We discovered Brack's after a hike in the Blue Hills. It was my wife's birthday and we wanted to go some place between our hike and home. Brack's was right off the highway and an undiscovered place that we'll definitely go back to. We were greeted immediately after entering and seated for lunch. Our waitress was at our table a minute later for our drink order. The menu has a lot on it. We found that you get a free meal on your birthday (less than $25) and the waitress confirmed that we would get one of our meals for free! We ordered a pizza and wings. Both were brought out quickly and great. The pizza was great for this type of pub. It wasn't greasy and everything was very fresh. They have a great beer and cocktail selection. Lots of local stuff. They also have a lot of tvs so this has to be an incredible place to watch sports. We will definitely be back here. read more

We were visiting in the area and used yelp as a guide where to eat dinner. Unsure about a restaurant in a strip mall but once inside our concerns disappeared. Service was efficient, a relaxing meal, and the food was tasty. My husband had bourbon glazed turkey tips, coleslaw, and a side salad. My meal was a cobb salad with grilled chicken. Went here on a Friday for dinner. The restaurant was packed and we waited for 15 mins for a table. The place is lovely, noisy and definitely a bar atmosphere. Our server was friendly and prompt. Our food was good. Steak tips had good marinade and the extra stirred fried mushrooms was a must! My fave of the night was the Buffalo Chicken Dip with the bacon bits. Birthday Dinner for the Hubby: Appetizer: Fried manicotti stuffed with ricotta served with marinara sauce. This was a bit addicting, it was so good! Entree: Tuscan Mac n Cheese. Pleasantly surprised! My husband and I came here after finding this place online as being close to our house. We also liked the name Brack's as we have a dog named Brax! Anyways, the location is in a strip mall and is much bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. I like how a lot of the menu items come in a "small" or "large" portion size - something I wish more restaurants would do. I ordered the A&T burger, medium-rare. It came piled high with toppings (I really liked the fried mozzarella) and actually cooked to a perfect medium-rare (a rare find!). Even the fries were really good. My husband ordered the chicken & waffles. He got a small order and the portion size was much bigger than expected. I can't imagine what a large size looks like. The waffle was a little over done but the mustardy-sriracha sauce it was topped with was so good! We are already looking forward to coming back! read more

My husband and I absolutely love this place. The food is great and always hot . The service is always on top of things as well. The bartenders are always fast and on point with their drinks. I go to Bracks frequently for dinner or just drinks. The food is always great but on the occasion it may come out slightly off but they ALWAYS will correct the issue without hesitation. The service is extremely above normal yea you would expect at a sports bar - mainly due to the management and great work standards. So I've waited a while to review this place as it's a new business and I don't think it's fair to review when their working out the kinks. I've been 3 or 4 times in the past few months. Parking lot fills up out front pretty quick as they share the lot with a few other businesses too but there's parking out back. You don't have to walk all the way around to get in either. You can also enter Brack's from the back. The interior is really nice. They expanded the bar from the previous place. Most TVs are on 1 side of the bar. Tons of tvs throughout the restaurant itself. Bartenders are great here. I had Derek serve me twice here and he's fantastic. Quick to ask what I wanted and I never had to sit with an empty drink waiting to order another one. I've had a burger which was delicious. I love that they have multiple sides to choose from. Not just fries. I got mashed potatoes and I loved them. French onion soup is fantastic! Turkey club was good too. I absolutely love the toasted crunch on the the bread. Chocolate martini is the bomb!! They also do a nice pour if you order a glass of wine. House Pino Grigio is 6 bucks. Yes!!! It's wheelchair accessible here. I think that's great. Hooks under the bar to hang your purse. Keno. Lottery. Live music on the weekends. They have about 16 beers on draft. A bud light bottle will run you 4 bucks. There's also an ATM here. Bathrooms are still small. Not much they can do about that though. Sigh, how do I explain my 5 stars. Not my usual type of review but I felt worthy of it. They do not have foie gras or 15 year aged rib eye. Regardless, it was a fantastic meal, experience and midway point between Boston and Fall River. Easy to access off Rte 24 and plenty of parking. I did not expect much and was shocked kinda in strip mall plaza. Grrrr. However, I was pleasantly surprised the menu was extensive and actually had things I---- I---- yes ---I had to contemplate between . Should I have a warm hug of comfort food, a Reuben (love!), onion soup or test the waters with a salad. Cobb salad it was! A+. They don't use wax lettuce and all fresh ingredients--- I hate when restaurants use the fake half frozen eggs. I asked for two dressing on the side which the waitress didn't even question. Extra bacon please---you got it. Great prices for the huge plates/ serving. Drinks priced right and poured well. The topping on the cake for me, I asked were the restroom was I left with my to-go bag (yes salad was too big) they asked if I wanted them to hold it for me. Many 5 star bougie restaurants don't do that. So--- while not a $100/ plate restaurant I would say well deserving of 5 stars all around. Great prices, convenient location, parking, great service, excellent food, something for everyone on menu, fresh cooked. Great spot hidden in a strip mall. Large open bar area with some high top tables around the bar. Plenty of TV's and Leno screens. Menu has something for everyone but we made the trip for the amazing steak tips. The are seared and seasoned perfectly. Highly recommend. We did some awesome burgers come out as well. Excellent food, I've never had anything bad there. Great service. Recommended! The only thing that has disappointed me was that they did nothing for our birthday kiddo. Brack's offers free meals (yay!) for your birthday so I brought my little one in. They got their free meal but I was expecting a little dessert or special attention like the other restaurants do for your birthday. Maybe that's just not what they do here. ?
