PanIQ Escape Room Chicago never misses! My fiancee and I were in Chicago for a memorial. We had done one of the PanIQ Escape Rooms with him and went in his memory. We chose to do The Red Wire. The room itself was very well put together. Upon entering the room, you're transported to a small street in London and the game is afoot. We found all the puzzles fun and a bit challenging. There were a couple of times we needed hints, arguably we were trying too hard. Our game master could tell we were seasoned "operatives", and actually made us work for one of the hints. We enjoyed our interaction with them in this way. Overall, the room was great. We got out in time and felt like we did our buddy proud. 10/10 recommend read more

Our group of 3 enjoyed Medieval Madness! Our Game Mater, Alex, was kind and helpful. This expert level escape room was tough at times, but if you're with a clever group of folks, you should do alright! The room itself is very creepy, immersive and well-done. Wizard Trials, Good quality ascetics. Number of puzzles were a little lacking and a couple of them were just straight guess and check till you get it right. Overall it was a good room but I wouldn't do it with too many people, we had 5 and that worked. Any more than that you're going to have people standing around. Price was expensive but it's in the city so it's to be expected. read more

My sister, nephew, and I did the Wizard Trials escape room over the holidays and really enjoyed it! It was our first time doing an escape room so we didn't know quite what to expect especially since it's a bit expensive. We REALLY enjoyed the challenge and working as a team, although I would suggest no more than 5 people in the room at a time and be sure you work well with the people joining you. The staff was great; very friendly and accommodating since one of our party was running late. Have fun!! read more

We did two rooms for a bachelorette event. I completed the Wizard Trials room with three other people. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and the room production was good. There were some genuinely fun puzzles to figure out that I've never seen in an escape room but that were intuitive. On the negative side, there were a few "clues" that led nowhere and at least three of the locks/puzzles were supposed to be solved through "trial and error." I have done many escape rooms and typically they don't want you to use trial and error, so this was somewhat disappointing. However, all in all it was fun and I would definitely try another room here in the future! read more

Truly the best escape rooms ive ever been to. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly and the escape room sets are elaborate and so much fun. Went with my girlfriend to a room that can fit up to 6 so we were definitely at a disadvantage so those unlimited hints were a godsend. This is not a run of the mill cheapie kind of escape room. The riddles are fun and the effects are the coolest ive seen in this type of setting. I love that they have another location and am excited to have a crack at those next. read more

I've been to over a dozen escape room locations and played many games, and this location was one of the nicest I've ever been to! Everyone was so enthusiastic and welcoming, they had really convenient lockers so we didn't have to bring in our coats and umbrellas, and the room itself was so creative and inventive. We did the hardest room, and even placed on the leaderboard! There were some super unique puzzles that I had never experienced before and I can't wait to try out all the other rooms. Their escape rooms are clever and well made. That said, they are a bit pricey if you're not coming with a larger group.

One of the very few places in the city with a mini escape room just for two. Staff were super friendly and they had the fluffiest doggo in the staff area, so that was a plus to see. Escape room was very well made and all but a few of the clues work, but we were able to manage. Definitely coming back for one of their bigger escape rooms! read more

This was such a fun and creative date! My husband and I have talked about doing an escape room plenty of times, so we finally decided to do it and we are so happy that we did. We did The Red Wire room. Definitely a perfect challenge level for the first time and perfect for 2 people. We laughed so much and just had an amazing time. The staff was wonderful and very kind. Half our group was running late, we were instructed to start otherwise we would not be able to go that day despite having a reservation. The escape room game was fun with unlimited clues. The only downside was the lack of a countdown clock. Towards the end, we thought we were down to our last minutes when we had 15+ to spare. Otherwise a fun time. read more

I brought a group from work as a team building exercise and we had a great time. The 6 of us played the Red Wire which was interesting and challenging. I definitely recommend it. We went on a Tuesday afternoon to avoid other groups (Covid) and it worked out. The building itself was cool to check out as well. It was built as a bank and still has the vault doors. read more

It's the definition of a panic room. I went in with my family and the space is small I would say a group of four should be the max for the red room. This was a cute one but it did require some crawling to find key objects. I do love that the repurposed a bank to make this happen. If you want decent time give it a try. parking May be a challenge depending on when you go as well. read more

The production value of these rooms is excellent. I've done quite a few escape rooms and often the types of puzzles are redundant, but the rooms I did had some great sequences I'd never seen. Medieval Madness is a tough room for the veterans and Red Wire is super clean and clear for first-time players. read more

My husband and I have done the wizard trial room, which was luxurious with detail but maybe a little tough for only 2 players, and the onyx room, which was perfect for 2 players. Both were lots of fun! We will definitely be back to try the other rooms. It's near the blue line and tons of great restaurants - bonus! Street parking is pretty easy, too. read more

In our group of 4, I was the first-timer. We did the Red Wire room - a medium hardness rating. The puzzles were challenging without too many red herrings or distractions. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses when it comes to puzzles and problem solving, and I think this room series covered them all (finding items, pattern matching, number puzzles, searching for clues, organizing things in the right order). First escape room with a group of friends for a birthday and wasn't too impresse. cheap in price but it was super hot, stuff wasnt set up the right way.. things we were supposed to find later on in the game werent in the correct spot. The laptop needed to be re set and it waisted 5-8 minutes of our game. When we were asking for a hint over the radio a few times there was no response so we waisted time waiting for them to respond. Will not be doing escape rooms again :( read more
