Well I've only been the one time. It was to see a comedian. It was a nice space for a small venue. It had a bar. And bathrooms. I liked it.

Hang up your jacket, grab a paint suit and a pair of rubber boots and head over to your station. Primary colors are your choices to mix with the intention of being as freely creative as possible. The canvas is blank, you are the artist so express yourself. I do have to warn you; spinning that wheel is quite the work out for your arms. I can still feel the burn. Lol. Spinning slow allows more control with your paint placement. Spinning fast allows more of an abstract splatter placement. Either way, those biceps and triceps are burning. There is even a secret tool for those daring to be even more creative; a leaf blower. Keep in mind, this is a messy, fun activity. Don't wear your best clothes. If you attend four times, your fifth visit is FREE! Or if you attend three times and leave a Google review, that counts as one of your visits. How cool is that. This is also a BYOB if interested. Spin Art Nation also hosts parties in the back room. A splatter room! They place your canvas on the wall and you can fill water balloons and squirt guns with paint and have a blast. There is also a drum set where you can splatter beat a master piece. For music, the room is blue tooth compatible. Let's go!!!

The Writers WorkSpace - ...where writing works.

I have been writing at the space regularly, which for me is 2-3 times a week and my ideas have been coming faster and steadier then ever. I like this space because it gives me a chance to put the working day behind me and really focus on my personal art, which is a fabulous thing. Any person who is need of a place to focus, no matter what the project, should totally check out the Writer's WorkSpace.

I'd tried working in several places -- including libraries, bookstores, my car, and the bathtub -- but they just didn't cut it. I wanted to feel professional...and I needed to be surrounded by likeminded people. I found the perfect place at The Writers Workspace. Amy gave me a tour of the space and I knew immediately it was for me. It is quiet, beautifully appointed and impeccably maintained. I ended up completing my first novel while working in the various spaces. It's unlike any other space I've ever known. I met people I'm still connected to today, and I'm thrilled to have been a part of this one-of-a-kind community. I treasure my time there, and always will.

It is an intimate venue. The drink service is great. The drinks are good. I had a "Dirty Shirley" which is a Shirley Temple made with vodka. The standout is the service though. The box office staff is amazing. I am not going to share how they saved my bacon one evening, but it totally blew me away. The security folks are nice and helpful and the servers are wonderful. If there is a show you are interested in, go see it if it is at the Den!

The venue was nice, although parking at 5:30p even on a Tuesday was hard to find. I did a SpotHero spot a good 7-8 minute walk away. I felt safe walking, for there were a lot of people walking to the variety of businesses in the area. The eclectic mix of chairs in the mainstage area were comfortable and my party of 2 shared a table with another party of 2 without feeling overcrowded. The acoustics were good and I suspect no matter where I was sitting, I would be able to enjoy the show. I did not use the restroom. The bartenders were nice when making my Shirley Temple. They didn't just have plain cherry grenadine, they had pomegranate cherry! (...I didn't taste the difference, though). It looks like a lot of famous comedians and entertainer come through the Den based on their walls and it looks like I just missed America's Got Talent favorite Darci Lynne by a day. I would definitely consider seeing another show at this venue!
