The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with some unbelievably nice sheets. Breakfast was very European; meat, cheese, good bread, and coffee tea to perk you up. All in all, a fantastic stay and cannot wait to go back. Ditch the Invermere clutter and spend some time on the mountain!

Our 3bd, 3ba unit was in a great location! It's an end unit with a gorgeous view of the Rocky Mountains and golf course. Staff was friendly and helpful during check-in. Our unit was clean and well stocked. As with most timeshares, they leave enough supplies to get you started for the week. Our unit has a washer and dryer, and full kitchen. This unit is great if you bring friends or family with you as it has an attached studio suite with its own kitchen and full bathroom. The beds are comfortable and linens nice quality. The grounds here are gorgeous and well kept. This resort offers many amenities including golf, outdoor heated pool, hot tubs, recreation room, fitness room, playground, and restaurant. They also have many bighorn sheep walking around. We're looking forward to exploring this beautiful area. Lake Louise and Banff National Park is about 1.5 hours drive. Would definitely recommend.

The first day we walked in, we spotted 3 of them in the hallway and 1 in the master bedroom. We cleaned them out and didn't really think of it. Every single day for the next week, there were ants in the hallway. It was DISGUSTING. The front desk only seemed mildly concerned. They sent someone to spray, but that obivously didn't help. They finally offered to move us, but we only had a couple nights left by then. I have photos and videos of this apparant ant infestation. Gross. Don't stay here.

I managed to grip it. Hubby grabbed it and the manager came along and closed it, but didn't offer any compensation which could have been a really bad time which if I didn't catch it would have knocked me in the head really hard. And none of the staff seemed to care. They also didn't care that my husband was holding up the damn thing until finally someone came to fix the situation. This should of been compensated. Either with another drink, a dessert, or my meal off. I didn't even get an apology. I have heard mixed reviews of this place and I would say try some where else. The fact that the restaurant manager didn't even apologize should say something. I won't even bother with the review of the food. The fact that I was almost clubbed by the metal part of a big umbrella and no one really made my dinner better, says alot from this place.

The upside is that you're just a few steps from the lift. The downside is that you'll be schlepping gear and bags up several flights of stairs as there are no ramps or elevators. If lot 1 is full? Then you have to schlep your gear on an open air mini gondola. Luckily we got parking in lot 1. Pros : New building. Access to the hot spring pools but there is also an outdoor tub in the approach. Laundry, gym, etc all on site. Cons (and why we will never return): -For the amount of housing food options are extremely limited. On Monday evenings the bar is the only food option. There was an hour +, wait for a table. On Tuesday the other restaurant was totally booked. Which left the bar again. -We are here at the end of Feb and coverage is extremely light. Off piste had brush and stumps exposed and on piste had gravel and chunks of tree debris open. We called it a day after half a day since we didn't bring our rock skis. Can't recommend this one.

The planning phase: Marni and Bev were extremely helpful, from managing the cabin payments to suggestions on where to host the various parts of the day. The food: Options were delicious. A couple of our friends are vegan, two are celiacs. The staff were very accomadating, and the food we had in the end was amazing (prime rib with yorkshire puddings: delicious). Ann, the caterer, did a great job. The cabins: They're awesome. Beautiful and rustic, yet with all the modern amenities you'd expect. Everything is clean and well maintained. A few of them have large decks, perfect for having little mini-gatherings throughout the weekend. The barn (for speeches, dinner and dancing): Just great. Two floors, just enough space. I think we had 70 people or so, and we squeezed in. After dinner we just moved the tables aside and had plenty of space. They have a projector if you want to put anything up, and a nice sound system. We had a DJ, and there was space for him to set up as well. And a few random notes: - Marni is the best. She drove us all over the place with our photographer to get some truly amazing photos. Seriously, the photo tour was priceless. - The grounds are beautiful. If you're a city-dweller like us, it was such a lovely change of pace to have those beautiful mountain views. My family really enjoyed it as well. - It rained (Heavily!) during our ceremony, outside. We were initially panicking but Marni and the rest handled it like pros, wiping down the benches and handing out umbrellas. They even had a cart to give rides to the grandparents. It ended up being a great time. We were going to have a toast outside afterwards, but we just moved it to the barn instead. They transported the champagne and glasses so quickly no one even realized the plan had changed! - They have so many awesome lawn games to play. I only wish we had more spare time to enjoy them! Everyone had something fun to do, all the time. - They were super accommodating. We got a keg and big batch of donuts from inveremere, and they offered to drive them in the day of for us! - They recommended putting down some small lights to mark the path between barn and cabins. We did it, and it was definitely worthwhile - it gets dark! I'd give them 6/5 if I could. Worth every penny. My only regret is we couldn't stay longer!

The resort is very mountainous looking resort on the outside, in fact very inviting. This location is on the outskirts of the busy Canmore Town. With hiking trails to town or by the river. The staff very friendly and accommodating upon checkin. There is 2 levels of underground parking for guests. Upon arriving to our suite as we entered it was like entering a apartment full kitchen with counter seating for 4 and huge table, 2 bedrooms, 2 huge bathrooms, washer and dryer, living room with fireplace, a balcony with BBQ. Looking over the courtyard and pool. Considering how full this resort was with guests, it's very quiet inside the unit. There is a cafe connected to the resort called Black Dog Cafe. Note: stay away it's very over priced below par food with very slow service. Better off going to Tim Hortons down the road for half the price and fresh hot breakfast. There is a cute Deli called Bohemian smoked meat Czech Deli across the street highly recommend! Freshly made sandwiches and soups. In the Garden centre of all places is a Tea house with gourmet Japanese breakfast or Lunch made fresh everyday called Wagashi. The beautiful earth-toned cream colored hotel climbs from the lower mountain side and stands beautifully amongst the tall pines surrounding it. We made our way to the Vermillion Bar, where are post worked back in his college days, and were greeted by a super sweet server, Ayala, who lit up whenever she laughed and smiled with you. We enjoyed cocktails, beef, tartare, veggie Credit, charred, avocado, and a unique presentation of hot wings I've never had before - the actual wing that has two bones in it was pre-cut down the middle so you were served the 2 halves as their own individual wing. Great flavors and it was very unique and enjoyable. All of it was delicious and undeniably yummy, and fairly priced for such an elegant location. We were expecting a much higher price point and were delightfully surprised to see that even though it is a luxury location, it was not price gouging or ridiculously inflated that one often finds in so many other locations that are "elegant or nice". If you have the opportunity to treat yourself to a very beautiful sunset under the majestic Mount Rundle, and want to enjoy a modern setting in a historic landmark, this is absolutely a visit you must make while in Banff National Park. When you first walk in the lobby check in area is next to the large sitting area with a big fireplace that is hot enough to warm you but not make the place uncomfortable. The rooms are very well maintained and so are the walkways, fitness center, sauna, jacuzzis (2 large ones) and pool. The restaurant that is nothing the hotel we didn't eat at, but I ordered and old fashioned and it was good and strong, but no black cherry, but that was fine. The sauna was so clean and it felt great to warm up more in the mornings and relax in the jacuzzis after a hike in the evenings. The jets were powerful and the views from that area overlook the the mountains and the gondola an Norquay. This hotel was great, only one thing really, the laundry room at 2 washers and 2 dryers which were of good quality, but one was down. We stayed here for 6 days and i thought that was a good amount of time without it becoming too day to day feeling. 5 stars because we had a great time there AND they provided loaner bear sprays for all of us. I don't know if they can do it for everyone, but that saves you at lease 35 bucks for each spray that you can't take back in the flight if you do t use (and don't check bags). Not an issue in summer and not a huge deal in winter but worth knowing. 2) Restaurant isn't great. Mid level chain place. Much better options in town. Staff great loved the spacious rooms and ski lockers.
