If you zoom in behind the fence there is a rattlesnake, be vigilant because they blend in.

This is an amazing park, I've been twice for my puppy who enjoys the dog area. There are 2 dog areas one for big dogs and one for small dogs with shaded seating. The park is kept clean however there is nothing in the dog park but wood chips. If they added any features to the dog park I would change my review to 5 stars. Also be careful we saw a massive rattlesnake and kept our distance.

I can't believe I never left a review of this park. It's been the best kept secret through coronavirus times. Never closed (just fenced off the field). My son learned to ride his bicycle without training wheels here so its very special to us. First off the park is large with a bunch of different areas. Its family oriented and low key. Lots of families with young kids and people walking their dogs. More of a quiet neighborhood park. So please don't bring your motorized mini motorcycles and ride them on the sidewalk - its just not appropriate. I can't say the park is a five since there are truly no wow factors but if you are nearby definitely a good go-to place to relax. There's a playground area (I'll attach photos pre-covid) but the equipment is currently blocked off. There are tables next to it for lunching and I've seen families there but it seems a little shaded and not very happy bright to me. There are baseball fields and a huge open grassy area. I believe the sidewalk surrounding the entire park is about a mile. There is a basketball court with a bunch of hoops but they actually took down the hoops and only have the backboards at this time. Behind the basketball court, you can walk up and hit a small hiking trail to the left. Totally doable. Not an intense walk at all. There are also two dog parks if you walk up to the right and straight back further. The one to the right is for smaller dogs and the one further back is for larger dogs and looks like they have some fun equipment for tricks. Sorry I don't have a dog (yet hopefully) so my dog lingo is awkward. Oh there are also two tennis courts to the right of the basketball court. I've also seen couples bring a blanket and picnic on the grass. The main field is closed but there are little grassy areas on the outskirts. Nice neighborhood park but sssshhhh don't tell all and suddenly draw a crowd.

This is a very nice parked tucked away in a neighborhood atop a hill. We discovered it quite be accident when we visited a friend in Diamond Bar. After seeing a directional sign to the park, we decided to check it out. We had a nice lunch of cold roast chicken and caesar salad. The picnic tables are nicely placed in this wooded park with walking paths, playgrounds, and ball fields.

I like coming to this park in the evening time. This park is tucked in away in a very charming quiet neighborhood in diamond bar. The basketball courts, well-kept grass, and walking trails are enticing.

Reap this reward at the top of the hiking trail!

By far the best park in city of Diamond Bar! Hiking trails, tennis courts, baseball field, basketball courts, doggie park, children's playground, public restrooms, and more! Hidden from the general public, park location is situated deep inside the residential neighborhood.

My go-to spot for outdoor Basketball. Actually my go-to spot for Basketball in general. Now the whole park is very well kept and this includes the basketball courts. It is hidden in the communities of Diamond Bar pretty much like Narnia, but there will be signs directing you all the way. The courts are the nicest outdoor courts I have had the pleasure of playing on. There are ALWAYS fresh nets, and the surface is redone.. like every year it seems (my picture shows one of these times). The courts are so clean you can eat food off of them (not recommended). There is really no complaints you can have about these awesome courts. There are 3 full courts, and they are all very well lit until 10 pm at night. I just love coming here in general. Although fair warning it can get a little crowded on weekdays even with the 3 courts. There is practice for young kids on one of the courts usually. However when I come on the weekends it's pretty easy to catch a game or twelve. Parking is easy and plentiful. As for other aspects of the park, tennis courts are lit, walking paths are kept clean. Doggy bags are provided throughout the park and there is an AMAZING dog park.

Great place to hike not to extreme but you still get a good workout and beautiful scenery. It's clean and kept up with. There is a nice Dog Park at the bottom entrance of the trail. When you get to the top there are two different ways to go and explore. Loved the hike !

Wow, I love this place! It's so clean and spacious for a park! This park is definitely dog friendly because I see a lot of people bring their dogs here. I think there is even a dog park right next to it. There are two playground sets so your kids will have something to play on when they come. There are picnic tables and a restroom. The restroom isn't the cleanest, but most parks don't have clean bathrooms anyway. This is a great place to get some exercise in. It's right in the middle of a residential area so unless you don't follow the signs, it's a little hard to find at first.

    short, but steep climb up

There is a round about parking near the entrance with a moderate amount of parking spaces but if you go past that further in there are more parking available. The play ground is quite large compared to other smaller park playgrounds. The cool think i like was that stairs from the first parking lot with the restrooms connect to the playground. So kids can jump right into the fun. Next to the playground its surrounded with plenty of picnic tables (concrete) and lets parents sit and relax while the kids play. The playground has multiple entries with two slides? Two monkey bars, stepping stone style elevated steps, a fireman pole, etc... definitely a fun park to come to. There is a little creek adjacent to the playground where you get a nice tranquil stream of flowing water drowned by the screams and laughter of children in the background, lol.. its nice really and something that sets it apart. We did not go further past the stream but there appears to be additional tables and a trail. Had a great time meeting our friends there and enjoying some fun times with the kids in the process. My kids loved it.

Also there is a hiking trail that I now frequently go to now. Especially the last few weeks (despite it being late January/early February) its been very warm in SoCal. This trail is relatively easy as it only takes about 30 minutes to complete the trail. I also love how most of this trail has plenty of shade. One of my favorite parks and hiking trails to go to around the Diamond Bar area.

New Playground for the kids!…read more I like how the playground has two areas for different ages and the city used padding for the ground under the play areas because sand is messy and wood chips get everywhere. We've been here twice in the last couple of months and my kids love it. (The city is updating the baseball/softball fields next to the playground). Parking could have a larger lot, but when the lot is full, there's plenty of street parking. And the playground has bathrooms right next to it. I hate when playgrounds/parks don't have bathrooms because kids always need to go when there's not a bathroom around. Very inconvenient when there's no bathroom. Cheers! Please see my photos. They added a new playground area bunch of new playground toys and just seems a lot more fun for the kids compared to the previous arrangement. The Park and play area appears to be larger than it was before which is a plus the old playground was kind of outdated, but this new one has a lot of fun activities for kids. It was very spacious very kid and toddler friendly. They also have a picnic area for people to rent space to have birthday parties and other celebratory events. There's some lighting in the playground area so even after hours you could still play for a little bit they are doing construction near the baseball field. Parking was pretty accessible led right to the park. There's a good amount of parking and then also you could probably park in the neighborhood nearby if there is no space but I never had an issue since I've been there the last two times highly recommend checking out this park and my daughter loves to come and play here.
