The play ground is quite large compared to other smaller park playgrounds. The cool think i like was that stairs from the first parking lot with the restrooms connect to the playground. So kids can jump right into the fun. Next to the playground its surrounded with plenty of picnic tables (concrete) and lets parents sit and relax while the kids play. The playground has multiple entries with two slides? Two monkey bars, stepping stone style elevated steps, a fireman pole, etc... definitely a fun park to come to. There is a little creek adjacent to the playground where you get a nice tranquil stream of flowing water drowned by the screams and laughter of children in the background, lol.. its nice really and something that sets it apart. We did not go further past the stream but there appears to be additional tables and a trail. Had a great time meeting our friends there and enjoying some fun times with the kids in the process. My kids loved it.

There were a few hiccups (issues with electricity and no toilet paper), but these issues were promptly addressed. Even at night the park is very safe. The paddle ball court is quite popular and usually a wait if you want to play during peak hours. The park is right across from Maple Hills Elementary School. The park offers about 20 parking spaces but you can also park on Maple Hills Road if you can't find parking. The city of Diamond Bar did a major renovation to build a brand new playground, new bathrooms, and basketball court. It's a really clean and beautiful park. The city does a good job in maintaining the park as well. This small park offers tennis court, paddle ball court, basketball court, playground and a huge open field to play soccer. This park is also dog friendly. I see many people walk their dogs and neighbors that live around the area enjoys walking to the park. There are plenty of benches to sit at and also several picnic tables located by the tennis courts.

The bathroom is a small walk, but they have one which is more than some places can say. My biggest qualm with this park is that we usually run into parents/families not watching their kids. No fault of the park or the space, but some parks you have to make sure other kids aren't trampling over yours more -- this is one of them! We've come at different hours and I think early morning is best and the people tend to pay attention better. I think there's such great variety in things to do at this park: Swings, a merry go round type thing, a seesaw, rocking seat, about 6 slides, unique climbing elements and more! I didn't walk the whole park but it appears pretty large. I played PBall there with my son and the people are NICE. We played with two sets of strangers and they were very welcoming for us out-of-towners. Put paddles on top of the goal and the first on the right is next, they move the paddles to the right as groups go on. Recommended for PBall!
