We came here for dinner during the week. It's not busy so we got our food pretty quickly. I got a platter of rib eye tacos and bone morrow. It's very rich and tasty. The portion size is big, enough for two ppl to share. I ordered a mojito but i ended up getting two...the more the better i supposed. They have lots of screens for fifa games. A perfect meal is good company, good food, and good ambiance. The restaurant provided wonderfully for the later two. The smoking trays of meat amidst singing and merrymaking presented us with a memorable experience. I even enjoyed the flan. read more

A very different kind of restaurant. The inside is a replica of a bull fighting stadium. The walls are decorated with old bull heads, memorabilia, and photos of bull fighting. They have a live Mariachi walking around asking, "Cancion Senor?" I would say its a little on the touristy cliché side, 90% chance you'll see other gringos, but the food here is great and the atmosphere is very unique so I give them high Rec's. We had an amazing time last night at Panteón Taurino! This place is a modern, but traditional cantina. We ordered a bottle of Patron Reposado Claro that was delicious. With the purchase of drinks they continually bring food to the table, all of which was amazing! El chamorro era buenísimo! Tacos, guacamole, todo era sabroso! Later in the evening there were mariachis which were pretty good. If you are in Leon for business or pleasure, I highly recommend this place! read more

I'm giving it 3 stars as there's good & bad. The bad is Mexican beef in general... as I've experienced this in several cities. I had the ribeye tacos. What they call ribeye is not the cut of ribeye we're used to in the US. Their's is always tougher so I tend to think it's really a different cut. The music was way too loud.e very time I ask for a to go box in Mexico I ask for the tortillas in the box as well & they never put them in. I experienced this in GDL as well. So make sure u do the box yourself at the table as they have forgotten the great bread at La Bocha in GDL . Red wine is served very cold. The bone marrow would've been good if only they had seasoned it. No salt, nothing on it so I thought it was kind of gamey & just blah. They should put garlic & salt on it, then it would've been great. The best I've had was at La Bocha in GDL in the Chapalita area of Guadalajara. On the upside......it's a ton of food & cheap. They brought a basket of chips & pork rhines with 3 different sauces that was very good. I would come back but skip the bone marrow & maybe just order veggie tacos, if they can make those with perhaps just beans. If they're willing to do that. read more

Although this place is definitely too pricey for what it offers, this was a good place to have drinks, but beware, the waiter is in cahoots with the police. Even after I left him a hefty tip. As soon as we left, the cops were immediately on our tail...I mean, right out of the driveway. I know this for a fact. Better call a taxi or uber, for it isn't worth it. OMG the experience was awesome! In not sure what we ordered, but it was a lot of food and all for like $20usd. Hole in the wall off the beaten path place to go in Leon, not many tourists here but well worth the 60 pesos cab ride from the hotels area. read more

This is a place to get pictures if you come to this town to visit. price its not that expensive. it was recently renewed so i decided to give it a try. I came to meet a client here apparently this is watering hole for the biz people of this town but like everywhere else there is nothing but soccer. Food is nice, drinks are cold and there is also a live mariachi band. The setting is impressive tbh. read more
