Visiting from Washington State, we were totally charmed by our stay at the historic Paoli House Inn. This place sits on the lazy main street of Paoli across from a beautiful park and within walking distance of all the galleries, shops and restaurants in town. My husband, a plein air painter, found inspiring places to set up his easel in town and in the surrounding countryside. We plan to return in the fall when the landscape is sure to be rich with fall colors. The apartment was very comfortable - I especially loved the old fashioned four poster, so high up off the floor that we used a little stair to reach it.
