Checked the website to make sure they were open on a Monday. Also called to make sure they were open and got a regular greeting with no indication they were closed. Made a one hour round trip with hungry kids and found out...yes...closed. So pay no attention to the website and calling is useless. Make the drive at your own risk! However, on the way back to Cherokee Village we found Rachels...which turns out to be a much better pizza. So, alls well that ends well. read more

Papa Dick's isn't as good as the last time I was here. Not the pizza, the staff. They seemed uninspired to wait on me, take my order or even get the beer I ordered to my table. Meh, next time I'll just place an order for pick up. read more

The positive first.. entertainment was very nice. Hillybilly folk I would describe, it was good. The not so pleasant was the meal... appetizer was wayy too salty and the pasta had no seasoning. Calzone was ok Maybe the pizza is good? You would be better to drive a bit down the area to one of the other places . Pretty good pizza at the restaurant on site at Crown Point where I am staying. We got the 'loaded' specialty pizza, 16", and all the ingredients were super fresh, and it was baked perfectly. The crust was nice and chewy, and you could pick it up without it flopping over. Plenty left over, and I love cold pizza! read more

Papa Dickis about one of the best pizza places you'll find around these parts. The restaurant is clean and the food is tasty.

What a DISAPPOINT that place has become and is turning into. They for sure need a WHOLE new waitstaff/managemebt. The food is good but the staff is CLUELESS. It's like they run around without a head on their shoulders. They NEED a new MANAGER running that place over there. They just keep losing customers. Jessica is so rude and needs to find a new job over there. She has no knowledge or experience on how to treat customers. I WOULD go look elsewhere until they find a new Bar/wait Staff. read more

I ordered the blackened pork chop and fettuccine, and it was bland and had no flavor whatsoever and the pork chop was cooked in a skillet and wasn't blackened. The fettuccine was somewhat okay, but the garlic bread was an insult to what garlic bread should taste like. I had a bite of the wife's pizza and it wasn't all that great. OMG sooo good! The veggies on the veggie pizza were fresh and colorful. Asking to change sauce was no problem. The medium size is the same as Pizza Hut's large. I've not had pizza this good in over 23 years. Papa Dicks is my new go-to place for dinner out. Everything everybody had was delicious. If I had one complaint it would be the huge televisions positioned so you can't not see it. I really want to spend time with my family instead of watching TV, especially sports.so onvrsation, I was calling strikes, runs and the ball bouncing off the catcher's shoe. The Fried Mushrooms were well seasoned and battered and fried just right with no greasy taste. The Italian Meat Trio sandwich was delicious, but the real star for us was the PATTY MELT.
