The food is awesome. First time my wife and I ate the meatball sandwich and loved it. Today we came back for the pizza. I had a very delicious Hawaiian and my wife had the chicken pesto. These nice folks serve an excellent pizza! The have (just like the name says) a brick oven that cooks the pies properly and quickly! Important if you've got a limited lunchtime. Service was very friendly, as well. Save room for the gelato, though...12 tasty flavors are available! Stella is the owner's Labrador, featured prominently on their signage. read more

A jaw workout on the dough that is made here for breadsticks and pizza. Don't get me wrong, I love chewy New York style bagels, but the pizza dough and the breadsticks were tough to chew and made our jaw joints ache. I make my own pizza dough, bagel dough, sandwhich bread and I would guess that there is too much flour to water ratio or the dough is being overworked. The dipping sauce was very good (marinara). The owner was so nice and told us about the quality of the food and how it's all fresh right out of the kitchen and how the eggs come straight from her chickens. The food was immaculate so good that we forgot to take a picture because we ate it at such a speed that they definitely will be seeing us again quite soon, and the homemade Oreo cream cheese cake that the owner made herself was absolutely to die for. My boyfriend ordered a chicken bacon pesto pizza, the crust was extra crispy, but not burnt and the flavor of the pizza made our mouths water. We also looked around their novelties and got some wonderful rolled wafers, lemon zest, and tiramisu, you just have to come and try it out for yourself don't miss out on their coffee they use the highest quality syrups Ghirardelli chocolate and the flavor speaks for itself the coffee bean was so flavorful it paired so good with the peanut butter cookie that was made by one of the staff workers all in all what a beautiful restaurant, beautiful scenery when you walk in it's kind of homie but if your home was in your dreams and you dreamt of it. The owner, Lori, will come out and explain that all the ingredients are imported from Nepal. That she started with a small brick oven her husband found at a yard sale when they were in the military, and that everything is done in true Italian style. We ate here by accident because Big's Burgers was closed. What a happy accident! Unbelievably fresh food. Everything was outstanding. The Gorgonzola salad was delicious. I was in Batesville to pick up some fabric and decided to walk Main Street to look at the stores and galleries. I had a very pleasant morning looking in all of the retail stores. I asked in one of the stores where to eat and Stella's was highly recommended. My first impression was that it was clean, attractive and moderately busy. A member of staff immediately came and greeted me and let me look at a menu. I saw several things that looked promising and decided to stay. I ordered the chef's salad with a substitute dressing on the side. The salad arrived very quickly and was beautifully presented. It was large enough to make a good meal and was delicious. All of the meals delivered to the other patrons looked equally delicious. The staff were professional and personable. I will certainly make an effort to visit the next time I am in town. read more

We are from California. We were driving from Little Rock airport to Hardy on a Friday evening and needed to find a place to eat that was still open at 8pm. So thankful we found Stella's! We ordered two salads a marguerite pizza a Stella's special sandwich two slices of cheesecake snd a gelato! For two people. (I'm sure our server thought we had not eaten in a year.) Needless to say we left with a big take home bag. It was all so delicious. What a great start to our vacation in this part of Arkansas! If you have not tried this place - DO! their Pizza was awful overpriced and tasted very mediocre. the crust was so thin and soggy the sparse ingredients came off in one bite or when you tried to unstick it from the paper. my veggie pizza had cherry tomatoes lettuce and a few black olives and mushrooms. it was pretty ridiculous I would recommend going anywhere else for pizza read more
