Nestled in Downtown Woodbine it has the feel of a local small town Pub. I arrived on a Wednesday evening after opening, and before long there were six of us in the bar seats, talking Royals baseball and college football, while the bar keep was getting a new recipe for killer Bloody Marys from a patron. I had a flight of their beers, their IPA, Oktoberfest, Spiced Pumpkin and their Porter. The Porter and IPA were both above average, the Porter was actually very good! I did notice they served spent grain pizzas, but they didn't look like they needed trying. The bartender was very nice and friendly, as were the folks in the bar. The prices were great and the atmosphere is right up my alley.
