We have been ordering here a lot recently and its never disappointed us. I love their wings and our pizza is always perfect. I was just in yesterday and there was only one lady (average height, long dirty blonde hair and glasses) running the whole store. I even asked her if she was the only one on staff and she chuckled and said yeah. I worked 2 years at a pizza place and i know how that is, it sucks. She was doing a great job and was very nice. this location is total garbage. Ordered on Tuesday 6/23. They used old dough, you can tell that there was no rise left in the dough. the crust was flat. Ordered a large Philly pizza. it was dry almost like no sauce was on it. The toppings were very skimp. one medium pizza just had onion. I could count on my fingers alone on how many onions were on this pizza. One slice had nothing on it. Totally pathetic. the cheese was just as skimpy. This location should rate well below Little Ceasers. I will never order from papa John's again. You probably shouldn't either. read more

My family was regular customers of Papa John's on Memorial but recently the quality of the food has gone down hill. Way down hill. Last Sunday ordered a carry-out NewYorker XL and a Garden Fresh pizza for company that was visiting. Both were burnt and tasted horrible and the Garden Fresh only had toppings on half. Tried several times to contact Papa John's about the experience and to see if they would make it right and though they say they will get back to you in 48 hours I have yet to hear back. I was even told on one of my attempts to follow-up that the manager reported he spoke to me about it and closed the complaint. That was a lie. Bad food and no integrity means that my business will go elsewhere. read more

We love Papa John's pizza. I tried to order one to pick up on the way home. I listened to all of the specials, job offers, etc. and was on hold for a very long time. I called back 5 times and could not get anyone to pick up the phone. Very disappointed! I would give the pizza 5 stars but the service none. read more

Not many places to eat in Lancaster so I found myself back at Papa John's. This time I didn't ask about specials. I just ordered what I wanted. Probably paid extra but the results was pretty good for chain pizza. If you get a special I think they automatically give you fewer toppings to make for the discount. But I may be wrong read more

We hadn't tried Papa Johns for awhile and it was a busy night for us so we decided to place an order for delivery. The person who answered the phone seemed very aggravated that he had to answer and even more agitated when he asked if it was a carry out order and I said yes then changed it to delivery. I was left on hold for over 28 mins the second time I called. When my wife got in town to pick up pizza I had been on hold for a TOTAL OF 56 MINS. When my wife asked why, the girl at counter replied "they were to busy to answer the phone." When she got pizza home it had wrong toppings and cut wrong. read more

728 N. Memorial Dr., Lancaster, Ohio store, 10/13/2019, 6:25PM. Ordered and paid online for ease of pickup. Arrived to pick up 3 subs. Employee grabs all three boxes off warming rack and one falls out of the box and onto the floor. He apologizes and proceeds to have another one made. I am 68 yrs. old and had to wait 15 mins. for my sub as the blazing sun came through the storefront window. There was no offer to have it delivered to my house, no offer of compensation for my inconvenience. As I'm waiting I watch another employee making pizzas go to the register and take care of a customer paying cash. After handling dirty money, he proceeds to walk over and continue to make pizzas without washing his hands. By the way, 2 people making orders, none is wearing protective gloves. 15 mins. after arriving, my 3rd sub is done. Get home, the remade sub is OK, but the 1st two subs were burnt and lukewarm. Worse experience ever. I will call the Health Dept., post on Facebook, Yelp and wherever else I can. This was totally unacceptable. read more

Pizza is good, service is enough to drive you away. Placed an order to have it delivered at 630, and it arrived at 550pm. Called the Mgr and he said it would be fixed. I do this when I have spare time, and so it does not arrive when not everyone's home yet. Well tonight it arrived 20 minutes early. Plus all of our food was not their. You are better off just going across the street to little caesars, at least you know what you r getting. read more

Used to be a fan. The pizzas are still great. Due to an unfortunate experience I had in February 2018 with the very rude manager in Lancaster, Ohio, I will not be ordering from here again, unless there is a change in management. In short, when I got on the phone with him, I asked his name, simply because I wanted to know who I was talking with, so I could inform him of another rude employee. He refused to give me his name, saying "That is not how you start a conversation". I was appalled. Hmmmmm, you won't give me your name, what are you hiding? I promptly called their 1-800 number to file a complaint, and to this day I do not know if it was handled or not, even though the person who took my complaint said she would get back with me with the results of the "investigation". We travel a lot and usually always get a Papa Johns and have always loved it, but not so much at this location which is our closest to home. We have never tried this location before, usually go elsewhere, but we wanted to get that 50 cent special. Big mistake. We placed an order of 2 large pizzas and garlic knots. First off you can't hear anything because the phones are right next to the cash register and the pizza makers. We were told 20 minutes and we were carrying out. We went in and they can't find our order! They some how "lost" it. So we had to place it AGAIN and we were told it would be 20 minutes. After 30minutes we asked what was going on. He said it was still in the oven. We waited over 45 minutes for this pizza! It was ridiculous! Guy next to us said that he's complained before about this location because it is always like this. We aren't the only order they lost. In the time we were there they lost 2 orders, gave the wrong pizzas to a lady, and people waited in line forever to get their stuff! Even after all that we still had to pay full price for this pizza. We'll never go to this location again. read more

Several years ago we got a steak and cheese pizza. It treated like cardboard. We opened a claim with their national customer service and nobody cares enough to do anything. The local Domino's makes fantastic pizza and always takes excellent care of us. read more
