Ordered on the app, saw delivery time come and go. 30 minutes later I saw the delivery was cancelled. I called to find out why. They said there was no apartment number. I asked why they didn't call. They connected me with the Manager. They had no answer. I reordered and waited for delivery. They charged me $4.49 for delivery but NONE of the money goes to the driver. They didn't even offer a discount for messing up my first order. I prefer to tip directly, especially in situations like this where companies gouge customers for delivery to increase profits rather than paying drivers. I most recently ordered a Large Thin Crust Cheese Pizza with Pepperoni, Onions, Roma Tomatoes, Pineapple, and Spinach. Had it delivered. How many excuses can you get for poor management and workers. You food is not that good and your pizza is always undercooked and always late. Online says they are open until 130am so we called to place an order for delivery at 11pm. Lady taking our order said it would be a 2 hour delivery wait. We said we could pick it up and she said they were closed for pick up. After placing our order she changed her tune and said she wasn't supposed to allow it but we could come pick it up in 10 minutes. When we arrived, there were no tickets around or pizzas waiting to be delivered that would constitute a 2 hour wait. We wanted to pay with card and were told they were closed, so the lady gave us our pizza for free. 1. Why answer the phone if you're closed. 2. Had a very strange experience here last night. Ryan was a fantastic employee who was very welcoming and accepting of my friends and I who arrived, starving, at 10:41 pm. We saw the open sign and were distraught to find that the door was, in fact, locked. Ryan came and opened the door to speak to us and ended up putting an order in for us. The manager of the night was horrible. She was insanely unprofessional and made us feel very uncomfortable. As an establishment, it is important to make the paying customers feel safe, welcomed, and to serve them well. I felt disrespected after a snippy remark from the manager. Amazing staff at this location! They are all so kind and courteous. When I picked up pizzas yesterday, every staff member greeted me. One went out of his way to hold the door. There is always issues with the address for my Delivery, and after dealing with nothing but issues from Dominos, it was very refreshing to have all of my order here the first time, with my sauces, plates and napkins as requested, and when an issue with the address came up, he called to verify where I was, rather than doing what Dominos does and just not deliver. I have ordered 10 pizzas for a birthday party two years in a row now. Papa Johns delivers to my country location (which is SO nice). When I call to place the order the employee has given me his/her full attention both times. They find me the best deal and are pleasant on the phone. Importantly, my orders come just on time and are correct. The drivers are friendly, helpful and go above an beyond. I appreciate the napkins and plates for a crowd that they bring with delivery too. I feel like they are a chain with a hometown feel. Appreciate the attention to detail and customer service. read more
