My family has now lived in Ohio for about four months, and the Ohio Pizza Game is pretty good so far. I live in Canal Fulton Ohio and just in Canal Fulton there are 7 different pizza places which I have now tried. I am always driving for my job so I constantly see all kinds of pizza joints that I have been wanting to try and one of those place is Galluch's Pizza located in Akron, Ohio. I went on their website so I could check out what Galluch has to offer, they had a good selection of regular pizzas, specialty pizzas, subs, and wings. The one thing I love the most was that had a white sauce pizza, which is my wife's favorite kind of pizza and Galluch's Pizza so far is the only pizza place that offers a white sauce pizza. We order two large pizzas one with half bacon and half meatball and the other was a white sauce pizza with spinach with chicken. The one thing I noticed when I picked up the pizzas was that it wasn't really a large pizza, their large pizza is more like a medium size pizza. Other than the pizzas being smaller than a large in my opinion, the pizza itself was very delicious, the sauce was sweet and all the toppings blended well together. The service at their location was very good, they had my order ready once I arrived and gave them my name for the order. The last thing I wanted to talk about was the picture they had on the wall which told the story about how Galluch's Pizza was founded. I am a huge fan of mom & pop pizza shops because in my opinion they put more heart & soul into their pizzas and they for the most part offer way better customer service than the major chains. So if you are looking for a well made pizza with good quality ingredients that's well made then take a look at Galluch's Pizza next time you have a craving for a pizza pie.

We've ordered from Galluch's on many occasions whenever we had guests over and they never disappoint with the pizzas. Our friends and family have enjoyed them as much as I have. It's great that they are down the street for quick pick ups.

Great pizza but customer service and attitude of staff is sometimes bad. Loaded JoJos were lackluster.

Thin crust pepperoni with white sauce. Yummy!

Just moved to the area. We've been looking for a great local pizza spot...and we found it at Galluch's! First visit this afternoon will not be our last. Pizza was delicious. We enjoyed both the regular and the thin crust. Anxious to try more menu items.

We ordered pizza from there last night and we have definitely found our new go to pizza place. The two employees at the counter were very pleasant and our pizzas were ready at the time they gave us. The crust is amazing - crunchy while still chewy on the inside with an amazing flavor. The sauce is well seasoned and delicious. We got one sausage/mushroom pie and one pepperoni/banana pepper/anchovy pie. They had the perfect amount of cheese. Some of the toppings were baked under the cheese, which seemed to add to the flavor. This is definitely the best pizza in the area and a must try!

The pizza was also very good. If you like a slightly doughy bite, you'll love it--the crust had the perfect balance of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Our server was attentive, friendly, and honest about portion sizes, which I really appreciated. I wish I had taken a picture of our food, but that just gives me an excuse to come back--and I definitely will! Looking forward to trying more dishes next time. It was pretty basic. Two peperoncini peppers and a radish adorned the top. There were four sticks of salami, no pepperoni or ham and the salad was covered with cheese. The salad dressing was on the light side and you could barely taste it, recommend you ask for it on the side. I ordered the sausage and meatball splash and my spouse had the rigatoni. Both entrées were just ok. The bread was great and served warm. Our waitress was attentive w/o being a bother. They finally accept credit cards albeit with a surcharge. I've had better meals in the past at Luigis.

We had 3 four top tables pushed together for our group. We dine out every Good Friday and the acoustics in this restaurant were great. We could hear conversation from one end of the table to the other. Several people had the Fish Fry special of fish and chips - some liked it, some didn't care as much for it. I didn't try it personally, but the plate had three decent size pieces of fish with a side of fries and coleslaw. Nice offering for Good Friday meal. Two of us had Chicken piccata and really appreciated that we could substitute out the side of pasta! One of us ordered a side of grilled veggies (highly recommend) and the other steamed broccoli. Highly recommend the grilled veggies! Good combination of different vegetables. The broccoli was good, but would have ordered without butter. There was a pool of butter they were swimming in. The piccata was good - 3 decent sized pieces of chicken breast. Note if you are not a red pepper fan, order the sauce without. I forgot to ask, but they were easy to pick out. The calamari was a good portion for an appetizer. We hoped they had cocktail sauce for it, but they only had marinara. The mesclun salad was very good and really good size for a half portion. We did not order dessert, but the cakes when you first walk in are quite impressive and imagine are delicious!

Carrot cake is standout. Tip is automatically added to parties of 6 or more. On the " go back to" list.

I got the Panzanella with chicken and it was divine. Very filling. The bottle prices were excellent. My husband loved his dish, which was the risotto special... I believe it had seafood in it. Everyone really enjoyed their dishes and the portions were enough. They had an excellent bar menu, though we just stuck with wine. Our server was very attentive and had lots of recommendations. I loved seeing a traditional carbonara on the menu as well... Often, a restaurant will just make this with a cream sauce and call it "carbonara", which is so wrong that it makes my Italian ancestors turn over in their graves. Though I did not get the carbonara this time, I will certainly try it next time. We also saw waiters preparing the table side, Cacio E Pepe, which looked really fun, but ultimately, I felt it was priced more for the experience than the actual food so I did not get that. We had reservations at 8:15 but arrived at 7:45 (planning on waiting at the bar for our friends to arrive ) and they were able to seat us right away. We also got a welcome bubbly drink upon arrival which was such an unexpected, fun, and friendly touch! The servers are very professional, but down to earth. I would absolutely love to come back and try the chef's table.
