Was in town for work all the way from Omaha so stopped by Papa Moon for a quick drink with my coworkers. I got a wine flight which was delicious. The wines were not overly sweet as most Midwest wines tend to be. They have a bunch of ciders and even have mead. I got a hot honey peach mead to take home. They also have a big slide, rock wall, and bunch of things for the kids. Def will need to bring my family here if we visit Scottsbluff. read more

What a great spot! I love the open floorplan. There is plenty of space so you don't feel cramped in. The wait staff is great. They are very friendly and make sure you are well taken care of. We were hoping to try the brisket, but they sold out that night, so keep that in mind when you plan your outing. There were four of us, so we wanted to try a little bit of everything. We ordered the cheese curds, pulled pork egg rolls, turkey, pulled pork, hot honey wings, coleslaw, baked beans, mac n cheese, fried cornbread and berry beignets. Now this sounds like a lot of food, and it is, but the portions were perfect size. We were all able to try everything and didn't feel like we wasted anything or had left overs. The cheese curds and pulled pork egg rolls were the apps. They were both delicious. The curds were crispy and tasted so good. The egg rolls were a surprise. The flavors were similar to jalapeno poppers, but with shredded pork inside. The raspberry sauce that came with them was out of this world. It really complimented the egg rolls nicely. We decided to do family style for dinner. The turkey was sliced instead of shredded, which was nice. There wasn't too much smoke on it, but it still tasted really good. The pulled pork was fantastic. I'm not a huge BBQ sauce fan, and this pork was so flavorful without any sauce at all. Speaking of sauce, we got a sauce flight and all of it was great. I think we had an Alabama white sauce, a mustard sauce, a spicy BBQ sauce, and a honey BBQ sauce. The hot honey wings were pretty good too. They weren't super spicy or saucy, and kind of had a crisp to them. They were a big hit at the table. The coleslaw was more vinegary than creamy and had slices of jalapenos in it. It was good, but wasn't my favorite. The mac and cheese was very good. The noodles weren't mushy and it was pretty creamy. The baked beans had a little spice to them and had more of a tomato sauce base to it. It was good. For dessert we shared the fried cornbread and berry beignets. I had never heard of fried cornbread as a dessert before, so i was really excited to check it out. Oh my, it was delish! They were fried chunks of cornbread muffins drizzled with honey and sprinkled with slivered almond clusters served with vanilla ice cream. To die for! My sister in-law is going to try to recreate the recipe for Thanksgiving. The beignets were a little more dense, but still tasted great. The berry sauce really made the dish. The boys had the German beer, which they both really liked. The pomegranate cider and lemonade tea cider (I can't remember their names) were both refreshing from the little sips that I had. We will definitely be back to try the brisket and I'll see if someone else will be the designated driver so I can try the pineapple cider. Cheers! read more

For more than a decade, Papa Moon Farm has been crafting wines, ciders, and meads. In 2024, they opened a second location to keep up with demand, increasing production and expanding the kitchen. I recently visited The Farm with a few friends, and we loved the beautiful gardens. We decided to have dinner at the Headquarters. The space is huge, with plenty of seating, and offers a full BBQ menu along with the same delicious drinks you'll find at The Farm. There was live music during our visit, and there are other events listed on their website. The food was good (though I wonder if pouring ketchup on my brisket-topped mac and cheese was a mistake). Papa Moon hosted our out of town relatives gathering in their private space room which holds at least 50 people for no charge. The food and service for our large group was amazing. Stevie and Tara were friendly and very professional and handled all the orders. The space itself is very large, modern and unique. With the rock climbing wall for kids, large bar and Restaurant, merchandise area, photo wall, and espresso area. The food is really tasty as well. Highly recommend. read more

Wow ! What a gem for family with kids! This is a huge place with various outdoor activities for kids ( like a huge park with playgrounds inside the restaurant). Food is excellent! Loved the appetizers ( large beer fries, grilled Brussels) , BBQ sandwiches , pull pork and brisket, side salads were awesome! Kids loved their kids burger . Lemonade was actually fresh lemonade. Food came out super fast! I wish we had more time to enjoy the activities after ate food! Definitely recommend the place! read more

I came here with my boyfriend and his parents and we all loved it! The food was delicious. I especially loved the Mac and cheese and the brisket. Drinks were great, I recommend the cider flight. Great atmosphere. Had an assortment of foods and appetizers. Which all was probably more average than over the top; however, for this area it is probably over the top!! Not trying to be mean just not a lot to offer in the Wyoming Braska area! I love that it is different, and see it more as a venue than an everyday lunch dinner place. Loud and noisy. Kids screaming and running around. Not a comfortable atmosphere for a relaxing dinner. The running kids almost tripped a waitress with plates in her hands. The noise got worse as our dinner experience went on. Burger and fries were presented nicely, but fries were cold. We requested our burgers with No Pink and they gave them to us with pink in them. The saddest part was that we ordered two side salads of which they charged us $10 each...waitress was not very clear on the pricing at the time of ordering. I am a salad snob. Our salads looked nice when served to us, but upon inspection most of the salad leaves were rotted with black slime on them. Most unacceptable. We will not be back. J&M read more

The food was great, the brisket sliders came with different options of bbq sauce and the pulled chicken was very good. The macaroni and cheese side was also great. We took friends who had not been there before. Big mistake! We had reservations and then waited quite a while for anyone to acknowledge us. We were told kitchen was backed up. Finally someone took drink orders. Then we were ignored. Once we flagged down a server to order food it was a long wait, but nobody ever came to check our drinks in the meantime. The brisket that was served was very tough and fairly cold. The Mac & cheese side also was cold, as was the brisket Philly sandwich. The price was outrageous for bad food and bad service!
