Scottsbluff has very few restaurants where you can get veggies as a main course. I was impressed with the selection of salads and sides they offered! The pizza wasn't great. The waitress said you are supposed to ask for the pizza to be baked thoroughly! WTF? don't you think it should be baked thoroughly in the first place? The menu was limited. We walked in and were seated quickly. Took 10 mins before a server came to take our order. We ordered the Burnt End Brisket Brat and a Chicken Artichoke Pizza. The hotdog was served at a decent time but the pizza took over 30 minutes before it was served... I almost thought they forgot about us. We were seated at the table in front of the wood-fired oven so we could see... 30-min wait, is that normal? Anyway, the pizza was good with lots of artichoke and cheese and a decent amount of bacon and chicken. There was live music entertainment. It was a busy venue. The Flyover Brewing Company was a super cool experience. The vibe is aviation and the outside of the restaurant has really cool murals -- perfect for selfies. We had the famous pizza and the pretzels w the beer cheese. Our server was amazing and told us tons of cool facts about the history of the restaurant and the significance of the different menu items. We discovered this cute brewery on our trip to Scott's Bluff. We were headed to the Black Hills and decided to eat here after checking it out on Yelp. Very cute place! Cool vibe and nice outdoor eating area. The beers were cold and smooth and the food was tasty. We had the pretzel and cheese sauce plus the brisket brats. We stopped in for beer and lunch on our way back to Colorado from South Dakota. Really like the selection of beers on the menu. We started with a flight and ended up with a few of the ambers. We were surprised at the size (and weight) of the glasses. From there, we tried three different pizzas. My Club Med was ok, but the toppings actually weighted down the crust to the point a lot of the toppings fell off. I actually liked my wife's wild mushroom and daughter's sweet chili pepperoni pizza better than mine. They both liked theirs, although my daughter, who doesn't like spicy, thought her pizza was, get this, a bit too spicy for her. Service was friendly and prompt. We are two black people visiting from out of town, sign said to sit anywhere. Was in there for about 5 minutes and no one came to give us menus. Another couple came and sat at the end of the same table but across from us. The waitress went straight to the girl who happened to be white and the guy with her had already stepped away. Flyover brewing is a staple in Scottsbluff. I stopped in on a busy Friday night for a quick bite to eat and a local brew and I was very pleased with my choice. Although service was a bit slow, it was a very busy evening so it was understandable. The open seating arrangement with some longer, shared tables makes it easier to find seating during busy times. The tap list provides a lot of options and I quite enjoyed the beers I tried there. The food I got - Mac and cheese and brussel sprouts - was also quite delicious. We have business in western Nebraska and we always make sure to visit Flyover Brewing while in the Panhandle. This is a brewery so the focus is naturally on the beer - Flyover has a rotating tap of great beers covering a range of varieties that will address every palate. None of us has ever been disappointed! But we have to say that while the lure is the beer, the hook is the food. We always get a sampling of their apps - wings, cheese bread, pretzels, charcuterie, roasted brussels, shishitos, and burrata caprese. Every one of these is outstanding and it's genuinely impossible to say which is best. I will say that we always get the wings which are offered with a number of marinades and dipping sauces. There is something here for everyone! The star at Flyover is the wood-fired pizzas. There is a great selection of toppings and every pie we have ordered has been exceptional. Service here is prompt, attentive, and friendly and we have always been made to feel welcome. The dining room is typical of brewery venues and is pleasant. Great place for driving through Scottsbluff on a whim after checking out Scottsbluff Monument! We ordered the house made pretzels, made daily in house, with the most delicious cheese sauce ever. I had the strawberry salad with Salmon added. It was delicious, the Salmon was a bit spicy, I think they put red pepper flakes on it, and they were a little hot for me, but I still really enjoyed it. We had the Bacon Covered dates for dessert, haha. They were so interesting, I've never had anything like them, I would get them again though! Everything was very clean, you can walk into the back and see the barrels of beer and then growing their own micro greens. For drinks my husband had a beer flight and I enjoyed the hard seltzer with lemon flavor. The dinner menu had many options that looked good to us. We've been to flyover half a dozen times and the food is mostly good. First time we went my spouses wings came out cold. The thing is the service is terrible. They're always saying they're new or just filling in which tells me servers don't like working there if they have high turnover. Our last time there the service was slow, got our order incorrect and I had to wait forever for my drink. The consistent bad service will make us think twice about going there again. read more

We are in Scottsbluff on vacation and this sounded like a great place to eat. It was also my husband's birthday and hoped it would be special enough. The service was wonderful. They really seemed to have enough staff and all were friendly. The food was also wonderful. We traditionally have homemade pizza on Friday nights...so perfect! The craft beers were also very good. The problem was with the noise level. With the background music and people talking it was loud but okay. Then the music got turned up. At that point we can't hear each other talk without shouting. We even opened an app to measure the decibels. It averaged about 86, the level of a lawn mower. Who tries to talk above that? If we wanted loud music we would have gone to a club. We had the bacon wrapped wings. These were so great because of the sweetness rather than the "normal" hot spice. And the bacon was doused in maple syrup! Wow! The Nitro DSB was a good beer, but be prepared as it takes a good ten minutes to get it as the bartender pours it a 1/3 at a time as it is so foamy! I'm a 155lb adult. I ordered the $14 sausage pizza. The crust was extremely thin. I ate it all and I'm still starving. Probably should be listed as an appetizer rather than a meal. Also, the kids menu has something called a pretzza. It's a pretzel that's split in half and cooked with pizza toppings inside. The size of this thing was ridiculous; it's a portion that would be appropriate for a maybe a four-year-old. My kid is age 11 and this quantity was wildly inadequate. Not sure how this place designed their meals but there just isn't enough in the portion size. Food flavor was good but not great. read more

The burrata dish was also really good! The salad I had was pretty good too. Yeh just all around good food. Service was excellent as well. After a not so great day in North Platte, we arrived in Scottsbluff Nebraska. An adorable town with a thriving downtown. The crew at the local Cappuccino place recommended us to the Flyover Brewing Company. Dave ordered the Vienna Lager and we split a Burrata Cheese ball with balsamic and tomatoes. I ordered 8 garlic Parmesan wings and Dave the Italian sausage and tomato pizza. Everything was delish and the pizza was cooked in a stone oven! A thumb's up to this local brewery! We are on a summer road trip from California knocking National Parks off our list. We stopped at Flyover Brewing, because it was the highest rated restaurant in the Scottsbluff area. Out of all the miles we have traveled on this trip (near 1700 miles at this point), this was by far the best food we've had. Our order: Appetizer - Flyover Pretzel with Beer Cheese Beer - Aztec Eagles Lager (Mexican Lager) Entre - Jalapeño Popper Pizza and Kids Mac & Cheese for the kiddo. Awesome! I don't know why it took us so long to try Flyover Brewing Company. The boys love beer and I love pizza so this was perfect for us. We tried the burrata caprese salad, olive tapenade, sausage pizza, and Korean wings. The burrata was rich and creamy and the olive tapenade was fresh and salty. They were really good together. The pizza crust was thin and crispy and just perfect. Italian sausage pizza isn't usually my first choice, but I loved that the sausage on this pizza was more of a crumble than huge chunks. The Korean wings were sweet and gingery, and had a little crisp to them also. The boys were happy with their beer selections, so I know we will be back! read more
