Good food. Higher cost. Slower service. Got to get bill at bar. Unfortunately the waitress never tells you this.

Love using my Yelp app to find a place that was close by and this place popped up. Good thing we checked the time early because we decided to just picked up a few things late afternoon to heat up for dinner later. It is almost overwhelming to see so much variety which kinda looks very similar. The pressure!!! We ended up picking a beef and chicken curry with portion of rice along with some veggie thing with coconut, some of the orange prawn crackers and an egg with a curry sauce. The chicken curry was more like a spicy sweet sauce which was okay. The curry beef was AMAZING - so flagrant and super tender. The chicken was really spicy and packed with a good punch of flavor. The veggies with coconut was the most interesting for me. I couldn't stop eating it. The prawn crackers were so good as well. There are a couple of tables there if you want to eat in but ideally it's a take away place. Also they have a bunch of cooking supplies if you wanna have a go and trying to good Indonesian food.

It was laughable the two of us trying to communicate about menu options so he took me back to the kitchen and asked me to point out things that I'd like and not like in my meal. We settled on a couple of dishes and just laughed and laughed. He came out to my table and pulled up a chair and made sure that my meal was enjoyable. A very memorable experience on so many levels. I so look forward to another visit there one more time before I die. YUM! YUM!

Overall very good dining experience here!…read more We're very hungry after driving all day for over 450 miles. As I usually do, I consulted nearby restaurants to see what we wanted to eat. There were quite a few Asian ones popped up, so we decided to try our luck with some Korean food. Since it was such an nice evening, we decided to stroll along a canal to work up more appetite. Originally we wanted to go to a different restaurant, but when we got there it was full, and the server told us it'll be an hour wait. We couldn't wait that long, so we looked for an alternative. We found Khan, and we weren't disappointed. Very fortunately we found only table open. Service was prompt, pleasant, and courteous. It wasn't overly friendly, perhaps reflective of cultural background. Food was very good--of course we were very hungry by the time we got there. Number of banchan (side dishes) offered was minimal compared to what I'm used to in the States. My only complaint was the overpriced foods! It's probably because we are in Amsterdam, but it might be because there's not much compensation and Korean cuisine is a novelty around here. You will enjoy food here. Highly recommended.
