    Lemonade (it tasted fresh!)

I've driven by this little Drive-Thru coffee stand so many times, always telling myself "I want to try that place." Well, today the stars aligned! I got an iced white mocha and my son got an iced lemonade. (Both were really good!) Quick service and reasonably priced. I needed caffeine and they saved the day! Heheh

When rolling thru Wheatland, Papa's Coffee Co. is a must stop! They have a two-sided drive up window and walk up service and greet you with a friendly hello. Locally owned and operated. The owner loves giving back to the community and employs many awesome people. Go check them out !!

They make the best dirty iced chai in my opinion. I'm also thrilled about them having fresh pastries! If I could I would treat myself everyday lol.

So while sitting in the car waiting for my wife and toddler to use the bathroom, I googled this place, not thinking much of it. Then, I find out that Rocklin Donuts and Cinnamon have made it onto some of the best donut lists in the whole country! So, of course, here I am jumping out of the car and strolling over to see what's left on a Sunday (Mother's Day) afternoon. Unfortunately for me, they were out of there incredible looking cinnamon rolls and apple fritters. The photos from other Yelpers made me jealous. Instead, I got some donut holes and a chocolate croissant. The nice lady had a thick accent, but we got things figured out, and she even threw in some extra donut holes for me. The donut holes were incredible. Absolutely melt in your mouth. Perfection. The chocolate croissant was not flaky or crispy, but had that classic donut shop chewy texture, and of course, was loaded with chocolate. I HAVE to come back for the apple fritter, as that's one of my favorite donuts, and the cinnamon rolls look insane. I will be back!

Best donuts anywhere! Period. End of discussion…read more I work at a city planning office and I've had my share of donuts from across the greater Sacramento region and these raise above them all. Always incredibly nice and love the extra donut holes. Standard donut shop vibe and I love it. Keeping it simple and straight forward. The donuts speak for themselves. A must try!

We went here for the first time this past weekend. It's a bit of a hike for us from West Roseville,…read morebut we wanted something different and it's the same distance from us as the appropriately hyped Rocklin Donuts and Cinnamon, so off we went. We got there about 9:30, and their selection was a little thin. They seemed busy and I'd guess the several people who walked in after me or on my way out may not have found much to buy. So that's my gauge on their popularity. I got some chocolate frosted bars and had them filled with custard for the husband and kids; I got a few raised chocolate donuts that were good. A little chewier than your average raised donut, which was interesting. Not a complaint, just an observation. The chocolate frosting was good. I bought a cinnamon roll that I ate bit by bit on the way home. It tasted more like a glazed donut than a cinnamon roll, but it was super soft, very sweet and was devoured. I wished I'd ordered a few more of those. They also had a crumb donut I didn't order but later wished I had. I did order a couple of cronuts, which I usually like but these didn't do it for me. I'm not sure I could elaborate other than saying taste and texture weren't for me. I also ordered a chocolate frosted cake donut that was solid, and ordered the one glazed donut they had left and the one sugar donut they had left. I didn't try them but none of the kids or their friends had any complaints. The place was nice, clean, and the service was friendly. I'd definitely try them again. Their round raised donuts I noticed were not entirely round, but had some angles to them almost like they might be cut with some element of a hexagon in them. Perhaps a signature? I uncharacteristically neglected to take photos. Next time!

Ooooh Lord! Did I just die and go to heaven? How gorgeous is it in here!?…read more First off, I pulled in to the parking lot in front of Dunk 'n' Run Donuts and the woman working inside was smiling at me before I even got out of my car. I walked in at about 12:30 today. As I walked in, the showcase was about half full. I mean, 12:30 is kind of late to come and get donuts, however, there was still plenty of goodies for me!! After talking with Laura, I couldn't decide what I was going to get...Iwas actually here for just a couple of fashions, but after seeing the other options... how beautiful they were. They got me. Dunk 'n' Run Donuts reeled me in! So, how am I supposed to pick just a couple of old fashions? These donuts were sparkling at me! They had a beautiful glossiness to them. They were colorful! Vibrant! My eyes were absolutely eating first. The person that decorated them has major culinary skills... these were almost too pretty to eat! Ok, ok! We're talkin Creme Brule! Dubai! PB&J! Banana cream, Kinder's... and yes! I also got my family's favorite, the old fashion donut. The price for a dozen? $20.75, PLUS... extra for the gorgeous filled donuts. A whopping $42+ for this dozen donuts was quite the shock... is that the norm? Laura is so sweet and very fun to talk to. I hope I run into her again! Maybe next time, I will have a seat inside and order a cup of coffee with my donut. Let's dive into what I thought... Dubai Donut I like that they are keeping up with the trendy Dubai chocolate that's poppin all over. This one was filled with real pistachio cream!!! The top is dipped in dark chocolate.. thick chocolate, drizzled with green, and dusted with crumbs. It was so decadent. Creamy... sinful. It was not too sweet and then it was fudge and buttery at the same time. PB&J Peanut butter on top, with a dollop of white frosting and jam, filled with strawberry jam. This one was very sweet. After this one, I could've been done. Creme Brule This one has a dark caramelized color with a crispy top with a single raspberry, it has a cream filled center.. was it vanilla bean? It was soft, creamy, and crunchy all at the same time. I'm in the middle in this one. Kinder's This was a playful donut. Chocolaty top with a couple of Kinders crunchy pieces. The inside was filled with Nutella. This one is very sweet and if you love Nutella, this is the donut for you! Banana Cream It had creamy frosting in top with a banana chip and nilla waffer, with the tiniest mint leaf. The center was like banana cream.. maybe made with a banana liqueur? This one was so good! I loved the touch of the mint with banana flavor... but I'm not a banana chip fan. The old fashion donuts were perfectly delicious. They are simple compared to the donuts I described above, but sometimes, simple is better. These have a shiny chocolate, with crispy jagged edges. To me, they have the perfect frosting to donut ratio. Overall, I really enjoyed the dozen donuts I bought at Dunk 'n' Run. Out of the new ones I tried, I would have to say the Dubai Donut was a 10/10. I felt like the customer service was above and beyond. Laura is very sweet and fun to talk to. Was it worth a whopping price of $42+? Yes. The real pistachio cream is a hit. This isn't your average donut at some donut shop. I call these a masterpiece created by the finest food stylist that needs to be featured in a magazine. See you guys again, soon!!

I had the crème brule donut and it was to die for! I had to find a quiet spot, like in Ally Mcbeal, for that first bite & coffee sip. AHHH! Yah it was that good! The price was right for the quality vs the quantity and requires a return visit. These guys just opened so I can't wait to see what they do with coffee options later on. Speaking of which, the one star comment by Matt C (the cat DJ) is suspect. I mean come on 1,206 reviews, there is no quality to Matt's one star review and he violates Yelp review guidelines by reviewing on competitors in his industry, 198 of them. Here, Matt posts that he would rather stuff Wal-Mart donuts in his face to get more quantity instead of, as he claims, Hula Buns makes "a better tasting donut". I hope people make more reviews to counteract this kind of fake engagement. In a nutshell, Hula Buns makes superior quality pastries, call ahead is available, it's a pick up only joint; so the ambience is not for sitting and working, you can see a real kitchen in operation right behind the cashier, you see that the donuts are fresh, it's easy to find, the parking is good AND THEY DELIVER SMALL AND LARGE ORDERS! My co-workers are going to so LOVE ME!
