Amazing dishes at this family owned establishment!!! Seriously this is the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to, and I've been to a lot, including several in the Cerritos Little India area. I love finding spots like this where the whole family runs and operates it the way that it should be. Just note they are closed on Mondays. The main entrees are not only perfection, but they have sooooo many Lassi flavors! I had never seen a Sweet Lassi before, or a Strawberry one! Even the regular Naan was so good it could be eaten all by itself, and most of the time, that's not the case. We are for sure coming back here, even though it's pretty far. I gotta try their Indian pistachio ice cream next time too! Can't wait!!!

A hidden gem! Great spot for Indian food! The garlic naan here is unreal! We ordered the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala with garlic naan. Service is excellent and even walked my mom safely to her vehicle with her to-go order.

Decided to give this place a try. Restaurant was pretty empty when we got there but there were a lot of take out orders. The service alone was amazing. The staff were attentive and the sweetest people ever! They gave a soup to start and I forgot the name but it was very good and flavorful. The garlic naan was great we ordered another order go. The chicken tikka Marsala was also good. The Mango chicken was okay. I will definitely be back can't wait to try some other dishes.

Paneer Tikka Masala Curry

My friends and I ordered takeout from Papa's Indian Grill and had an amazing experience sampling a variety of curries. Here's what we tried: Paneer Tikka Masala Curry - 7/10. Savory, with a well-balanced paneer texture (not too hard or too soft). A 10/10 if you love cheese, but I personally prefer other protein options. Chicken Saagwala Curry - 9/10. My first time trying saagwala curry, and it was delicious--savory with a kick of spice and ginger. Lamb Butter Masala - 10/10. Rich, savory, and the lamb was incredibly tender. Tofu Coconut Curry - 8/10. Slightly sweet, with soft, easy-to-chew tofu. Chicken Coconut Curry - 9/10. Sweet, flavorful, and the chicken was perfectly tender. Cheese & Garlic Naan - 10/10. The aroma alone had my mouth watering! Savory and pairs beautifully with all the curries. Our food was ready for pickup in just 15-20 minutes. The service was friendly, and the restaurant had a casual, welcoming vibe. Portions were generous--easily enough for at least two meals. Worth noting: They offer lunch specials Tuesday to Friday (10:30 AM - 3:00 PM), which include naan, rice, dal makhani, matar paneer, salad or raita. Definitely trying that next time.

Hidden gem. Never would have thought to come here; so glad I did! Love the ambience; clean and nice atmosphere. Servers and staff were all incredibly nice! Got a Gobi Manchurian, Sheesh Kebab, and two Indian beers. Very delicious. Will definitely be coming back!

Family run. No one else was here most of my visit. My young waitress was very nice. Indian music is playing low. 2 TV's are playing together above the beverage case with no volume. Their website says lunch comes with "Naan, Rice, Dal Makhani, Matar Paneer, Salad Or Raita" but the menu in the restaurant says it comes with "naan, rice, vegetable of the day, and salad" but neither are actually what you get as so salad or raita was served. Lunch comes with plain naan or you can upgrade to garlic $2 more to add a hint of garlic. I ordered the chicken tikka lunch that says it's cooked over charcoal but it doesn't taste of charcoal. It was tough and I won't get it again. I think my side dishes were sambal soup and Chana masala. I love Indian style pickles "achar" it is craveable good but can have pit's or sharp bits so be careful. It's hard to eat Indian food alone because it's expensive to try several different items or styles without which is why I think lunch is usually a value but I want salad and when I have to add on and add on it quickly becomes not a value at all. If I had added a salad and raita it would've costed more than a steak dinner. I wish they would correct the menu.

Awesome culture no doubt !

Highly recommend this place to start off the atmosphere is so relaxing. The place is super clean. The food is so delicious. We didn't know what to order but the gentleman that helped us was able to guide us in the right way of what we were wanting to eat we ended up ordering two different types of curries. I'm so sorry. I forgot the names but here I will put the picture. The mango lassie was super delicious and the bread the garlicnun with the curry creams were so good

Stopped by this amazing restaurant today. As soon as you walk in your greeted by the amazing Sandy. She was so welcoming and friendly which always makes an experience very memorable. Started off with the spicy chicken wings which were packed with so much flavor. Hands down some of the best wings I've ever had. Also enjoyed one of the specialty plates known here at papas. Which was the Chicken Mango Curry. Wow!! It was so delicious and full of flavor! Everything was! Even had a delicious garlic and cheese Naan bread which goes well with the curry! If I'm ever in this area I'm going to definitely come by again. Definitely a cozy family environment, come on down with the whole family. Recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy a delicious meals. Enjoy!

Does the dining area have AC?

When we went the dining area was quite nice and cool, so I would assume yes.

369 Poke & Ramen is honestly one of the best poke spots I've had in the IE. The worker helping us…read morewas really nice and patient, especially when explaining the different sauce options and helping us figure out combinations. They didn't make us feel rushed at all and were really welcoming throughout the whole ordering process. The fish tasted really fresh, which is one of the biggest things I look for in poke, and they had a good variety of sauces to choose from depending on what flavor you're in the mood for. The toppings bar was also really solid with a lot of options, and everything looked fresh and well stocked. I liked that you could customize your bowl however you wanted and still have everything pair well together. One thing I really liked is that they actually pack the containers full, so it genuinely feels worth the money. I even got a small bowl once, and it was still loaded with fish, toppings, and everything else. The inside is clean, spacious, and has plenty of seating, so it's a nice spot to sit down and enjoy your food instead of feeling cramped.

There have been times the staff seems high and blown out of their minds. Other times they are too busy chatting up with coworkers to acknowledge or provide even the basic decency of customer service. Then, more often than not you are treated almost as a bother. Due to the service here, I have stopped dining in and opt for calling a phone order to take out. On three separate occasions now, within the last 3 months, they have neglected the phones for orders. They would rather disconnect or turn off the phone completely to avoid any future orders. This comes as a surprise when in about 10 minutes of my first attempted call, I see a staff of four people, yet only one customer. I believe there was no excuse as to why they could not answer the phone. I confirmed they accept take out orders essentially until closing. I have always been mindful to not attempt to order within 30 minutes of them closing. The service here is appalling and truly diminishes their potential for how great the spot could be considering the food they have. Food on the other hand is a total opposite of the service, very flavorful and strong punch of spice at a level 3. My go to is the Wonton ramen with a miso base. Crispy rice is a great starter to share. The garlic ramen is also a great contender if you have a garlic craving. Open layout feels like a mom and pop shop. Overall pretty clean establishment. Occasional tweaker going in for the bathroom closer to the end of the night.

The restaurant itself is super spacious, and since we came at kind of an odd time after the lunch rush, it was really calm and relaxing inside. We ordered the Salt and Pepper Calamari, and it was really good. The calamari was crispy, lightly seasoned, and still tender inside, which made it super satisfying to eat. I do wish it came with a dipping sauce, but we already had sweet and sour sauce on the table and ended up using that instead, which actually paired really well with it. We also got the Chicken Pad Thai, which honestly impressed me a lot. The portion size was huge for the price, I think it was around $12-13, which felt really worth it for how much food we got. The noodles were flavorful, well cooked, and had a good balance of savory and slightly sweet flavors without feeling too heavy. The people working there were really welcoming and kind, and it felt like a family-run restaurant, which made the experience feel even more comforting and homey.

Don't expect refills or conversations about the day or the meaning of life. Bathroom: clean. Toilet and a urinal. Food: Before my main course arrived, I was served a small cup of egg drop soup and some crispy noodles with some type of sweet dipping sauce. Considering these were complimentary, I'm not going to complain. Soup was my okay. my mapo tofu came with a side of white rice. Upgrading to brown or fried rice will cost you an additional $1. This is the most bizarre mapo tofu I've ever had. Rather than the traditional ground pork and wood ear mushrooms, this came with long strips of fried pork and no mushrooms. I'm also used to thicker sauce, but this one was very watery. A tad spicy, but not over bearing. Maybe a recipe from a different Provence of china? Not what I was looking for. $15.00 later and a fortune cookie...and I was done. Not sure if I'd come here for the mapo tofu again. Others in the restaurant offered the 2-3 item combos. Typical orange chicken or Kung Pao chicken w rice or chow mein. Not my thing.
