I'm very particular about chicken fried steak...and their Top Hand dinner is top notch. First of all, the steak is huge, obviously hand breaded, tender (I could almost cut it with a plastic fork) and the perfect blend of meat and breading. It was as fresh and hot as the green beans and hand cut French fries. I don't do gravy so I can't speak to their gravy but why would anyone bury such a delicious CF steak in gravy anyway? The fries were excellent, cooked perfectly and generous in portion and the green beans were also delicious, cooked with bacon. The dinner was topped off with a tasty piece of toasted bread. I make my rounds in the Oklahoma panhandle and NW Oklahoma about once a year and I HOPE I will be back through during lunch time next year. What a great find McGill's ChuckWagon Cafe is!

We upgraded to coleslaw and beans and added banana pudding (vvery creamy.) service was very friendly. There are two tables on site, which was perfect for a quick picnic and views of some neat old buildings in Woodward.
