It now has air conditioning, clean bathrooms downstairs in the basement, parking and more! I totally enjoyed checking out the market. This is apparently the second Sunday in a row! It's open 9am - 1:30pm. The purposes are to let local vendors show their stuff and enable the owners of the historic building continue to fix it up! It's a huge exciting project! I got some vegan pop tarts, fresh sourdough focaccia and a beautiful bar of mango soap! Life is good with helping a good cause save a historic beautiful building!

I've always wanted to do something like this, so we drove about an hour north from Tampa to this location out in the farm area. They sold tickets online through event Brite, that included admission, later, and parking. Otherwise pay upon entry. Vip parking lot closer to the entrance, regular admission is in the first yard. Lots of food vendors and music performance. We arrived closer to sun down and walked around to food booths to see what kinds of vendors were. Service was great for Saturday night, not too busy so the lines weren't crazy long. We had a good time.

It's cool though because there's a lot of Vietnamese that support this market. And they buy the food too so you know it's good and authentic. I tried the "rice paper salad" which is like the turtle tower one. Except with the lady's own twist. It was a very long line. It took about 20 minutes or so to get to the front. It was $15 which is so expensive. It was good. She asked me if I wanted a little spice or a lot. I asked for little but it was still very spicy. I wonder how hot the spicy version is. It was a good mix of sweet, salty, spicy and sour. I'd recommend you try if you haven't. It's a big portion and could feed 3. At least you get a lot for the money. But I did see a teenager who happily ate it all himself. At a stall called banh tet tea, I got a phin filter coffee. Coffee ranges $6-$8. Very very expensive. Here it was $6. But it was very very little for what you get. Only 3 sips worth. We went to the popular banh mi and coffee place. They had a combo deal where it was a dollar off. The coffee here was $8 but at least you got a lot. It came with the salted coffee. It was good. But idk $6-$8 is Highway robbery for coffee for me. I just wanted to give it a try. The banh mi was the dac biet (combination). Which I love because I loooove pate. Tbh, it was very good. The baguette was so fresh. We saw a guy deliver 6 boxes of fresh banh mi while we were eating. I wish there was more pate inside though We also had the spring rolls. I took a photo of which stall we got it at. It was good. The lady was making it fresh instead of making it and packaging it. It was perfect. However, we asked for pork and shrimp and they only gave us shrimp. Not sure if they ran out of pork... Theres a ton of produce and plants for sale. I noticed many buying plants and fruit. It's a great market for the locals. However, restaurant prices. I really wanted to try all the soups, but they were $15-$20 for a to go bowl (the black containers). I thought that was very small for the prices. If I ever come back, I'd like to try the duck balut (embryo) and the com tam (rice plates)

One of the main reasons is simply the size -- it's one of the largest markets around and they have so many great things to offer. If you've spent any time around St. Pete, you've probably heard people mention this market -- it's kind of a local weekend staple. There's an incredible variety of vendors including food trucks, beverage stands, fresh produce, cheeses, breads, meats, and all kinds of locally made goods. You'll also find local artists and makers, along with vendors selling jewelry, clothing, hats, bags, plants, and other unique items. They usually have live music, which adds to the fun atmosphere while you walk around and explore the different booths. I don't make it out there as often as I'd like since it's a bit of a drive for me, but it's definitely one of my favorite markets in the area. If you're visiting or live nearby, it's absolutely worth checking out. Just try to get there early -- by noon it starts getting crowded, and with the Florida sun it can get hot quickly. I will be sure to take more pictures and update my review the next time I visit.

Local places that grow ginger, mushrooms and truffles, vegetables, micro greens, hot hot peppers, cut flowers, exotic tropical fruits, and live plants. Seasonings, soups, candies, kettle corn, hot sauces, breads and pastries and pies, cheeses, honey, granola, and sea salt. Wood and metal crafts, candles, paintings and prints, jewelry, fragrances, and cosmetics. Chai tea, matcha and red teas, kombucha, fresh-roasted coffee, smoothies, juices, and local craft beer. Ready-to-eat tamales, empanadas, sausages, shawarma, Indian food, French crepes, Cuban food, and chicken salad. And i'm sure we missed some! We bought here and there, and then sat at an umbrellaed table among seating for maybe 100 in the middle of many food vendors, rockin' to live music by Dave G and the Music Mercenaries, and watching a few folks dancing. We drank chai tea and craft beer and drank from a fresh coconut. We ate fresh croissants and salad and hot beef sandwiches and burritos and, the most fun, Budapest spiral-cut potato "chips": a whole potato cut into one thin chip, fried and lightly seasoned, with dipping-ketchup on the side. And some luscious strawberry crepes and fresh made pastries, icing on the cake, so to speak. We had a blast! This full fun creative market runs weekly at least until Mar 21, 2026.

This Market is okay for the weather now but it's all on the black top and there's minimal shade. Hopefully they move it a bit soon. There's lots of the usual fun vendors here. My personal favorite is NGOT which has unbelievable pastries that you just can't find everywhere. There are also plant vendors, crafty vendors, maple syrup and honey, flowers, food vendors, fruit stand and clothes. They say there's around 75 vendors. There's a good amount of space and it's super dog friendly. They do have a nice grassy area and if u want to eat, go closer to the high school side for tables and chairs. I have been to the majority of markets here and I can say I'm definitely a fan of this one! Check them out especially before it's too hot!
