Five stars for my favorite one-stop party planning shop! PGP seriously has everything you need to host the perfect summer soiree, baby shower, birthday bash, or celebration for the bride-to-be. I personally love their gift wrapping station and balloon bar, which can add some fun flair to any occasion. If you've never gotten a giant billy balloon with metallic tassels, you're missing out! They have a beautiful array of colors to choose from, and you can even customize you balloons with personalized calligraphy. PGP just recently launched "The Pantry" which is a perfectly curated corner of their shop that is filled with grab & go provisions, party supplies, sweet treats by Morgan Hunter Desserts, fresh flowers, and more. You can swing by and grab these items at any time (picnic on Lake Ivanhoe, anyone??) or you can pre-order everything you need for your next gathering. They also offer custom design services for invitations, stationery, and all your paper needs! And if you haven't seen The Party Room event space in the back of their shop, well then you're welcome... I just found your next party location. You can rent out this adorable space by the hour, and it's perfect for a bridal shower, dinner party, or even a private workshop. Today I decided to take a quick visit to Paper Goat Post! I've been enjoying stationary lately and wanted to see what this shop was all about. They had a nice selection of gifts, cards, and party supplies here. Cards are about in the ~$6 range, which compared to some of the cheesy cards you can get at target for the same price isn't too bad. Most of the selection is catered towards gifts, cards, and party supplies but they do have some stationary stuff too. Not sure I'd drive out of my way to come here again, but if I find myself in the Lake Baldwin area I'd definitely swing by to see what's new! Blown away by how awesome this local little shop is. From the time you enter to the time you leave you feel welcome and warm. The outside is stone face and easy to find. There's street parking around and a couple of nearby lots for pay parking. Be aware of tow away zones! When you get inside it's very boutique like with displays throughout. They can do everything from a quick greeting card purchase to custom parties for a shower or birthday. Staff is friendly and helpful, so just ask if you need anything. It's the perfect place to make a gift special or custom order something special for yourself, like a rubber stamp with your address for cards to send out. This place is a stationary lovers dream! Beautifully located adjacent to Lake Ivanhoe in a small retail strip, this medium sized store has all your gifting needs. The store is beautifully laid out - like a mix between Anthropologie & Francesca's. They're stocked with Volcano candles all throughout the store, the cutest Rifle Paper Co. cards & supplies, and several other designer items. I wish I could buy out the ENTIRE store! I've attended TWO workshops here at PGP! A watercolor class (with Cami Monet) and a modern calligraphy class with (Flax + Wool Designs) - both classes were awesome! The establishment has a small classroom area in the back with several chairs & tables. They close off the shop for the classes making it quite intimate. Classes are small allowing you to really interact with the teachers! Both of the teachers I took classes with were sweet, down to earth, and very knowledgable. The owners are just the sweetest! Paper and Goat Post is a super cute store along the Ivanhoe Village area that will take care of all your paper needs -- think wrapping paper, unique and funny greeting cards, books etc as well as adorable gifts. On their website you'll see their motto " celebrate everything (with a little or a lot of paper)!" Once you walk into the store, you immediately see how they live up to this! The owners, twin sisters, had a passion for this concept and luckily for us they opened showed here in Ivanhoe. Both were extremely helpful in helping find and wrap a gift. Note that there is a studio for rent should you and a few of your friends wanted to enjoy and crafty day/night. A dear friend/colleague/mentor recommended the Paper Goat Post's balloon drop to me. Essentially this is a service where Paper Goat sends a balloon bouquet. I lived a few blocks away from this dreamy store for a few years, and while I found much joy perusing I have never made a purchase. And now I totally regret it. You can place an order for the balloon drop online and it's pretty simple. Since they don't have exact "arrangements" you get to just fill out some information about the recipient and they will customize per your description. They offer in store pick up AND they will deliver. Keep in mind the delivery fee is about $1 per minute in distance. The bouquet starts at $50. Of course I never let anything be easy so I called the shop to discuss these details over the phone. Grace kindly answered every one of my questions, (that could have been answered had I just trusted the instructions per the site) with great grace! Ha. She gets that a lot I bet. All this to say, trust the directions this works flawlessly. My friend was totally surprised and in great spirits when she received her balloon drop. It made me so happy to be able to do something special for someone so dear to me even from so far away. read more

This part of Ivanhoe has a string of some really great places now - The Hammered Lamb, Retromended, Cloak and Dapper, Backhaus and now Paper Goat Post. My wife and I stopped in on their opening day and my wife did her best to not snatch up everything off of their shelves. They have a great assortment of stationary, cards and little gifts that will take your gift-giving up a notch. A large majority of their products are on the feminine side but they have a small section of their store that will keep the guys interested as well (while their significant others are shopping). I left with a brass gentleman's credit-card sized multi-tool and it was only $12. The store is well decorated with 3/4 of the place reserved for retail products with the other 1/4 reserved for what I assume is their event planning business. The next time my wife and I are in search of some unique gifts, we'll definitely come back and visit Paper Goat. read more

5 Stars for a local stationary and gifts shop that had me in a browsing trance and finally walking out feeling like I'd just left a magical little gem. What a perfect location for this whimsical shop. You enter through a courtyard and walk into a magical land of paper, goats, and gifts. Every corner boasts another little gem that so-and-so would just love! I didn't know I needed affirmation pencils, but by golly I have them now and by golly are they beautifully designed! The secret behind this shop is the tasteful curating done by the owners (twins!). Whimsy is the perfect word to describe their goods - many of which are made locally and marked with a lovely painted floral and orange tag to remind you. There are cards for any occasion (seriously- there's a birthday card for a yogi that comes in three options so you can match the yogi's hair color to the recipient!). There's also a great wedding themed section to go along with their card and event design studio. Every inch of this shop made me remember why I just can't abandon the brick and mortar for the online marketplace. I'd lose the excitement I had at browsing and discovering new treasures, I'd miss out on chatting with the charming owners, and I would have struck up a conversation with another patron- finding out we've been at the same events and have only barely not met prior. Best of all, even with local products of such a high quality, PGP's prices are really great. I've had serious sticker shock at other gift shops like this one and instead I kept finding myself smiling every time I turned a new item over to check the damage it would do to my wallet. And as a quick note- they'll gift wrap your purchase for free! There's a small up charge if you want fancy paper or bows, but this was a wonderful surprise! read more

Found lots of invites, postcards, and greeting cards here that say exactly what you want to say in no uncertain terms. Basically the opposite of a Hallmark store, so unique and creative. Big selection of local prints and a commitment by the store to selling items from local artists. Also cute gifts like drinking glasses and day planners. I absolutely adore this shop! I've always heard about it and never stepped foot into the store. I don't know why it's taken me forever and a day to make a visit here! Perfect place to have custom invitations done, gift ideas, and balloons. I love everything about this shop! Me and my Fiance came in for a consultation for our wedding invitations here, and Cedar was absolutely fabulous. Extremely helpful, informative, and helped me narrow done my options, gave wonderful ideas, and helped me stay within my budget. We received our final product not too long ago and I am completely in LOVE with our invitations. Came out so beautifully and tailored to our design and colors. There really is something magical, personal, and special about receiving a letter or package in the mail. Really charming find! Super cute shop right behind a lovely courtyard area. Calendars, invitations, balloon bar, Nina Mantra jewelry and other unique gifts can be found here. As an avid letter writer, I appreciate the focus on snail mail. I find the mail service really intriguing; Different levels of service based on your needs. I personally love letter writing and sending cards, and could never imagine myself needing it, but it's a great idea for people who really have good intentions but can never manage to follow though. What a delightful shop! Find them in Ivanhoe Village with a cute little goat sign and a mailbox with a big balloon and tassels (if it's not raining!). I finally came by to check out their storefront and boy is it cute! The shop is filled with planners, greeting card, postcards, art prints, wrapping paper, jewelry, and unique gifts! They have products from other local Orlando vendors including Rifle Paper Company and Jane's Short and Sweet! What a treat! The owners are delightful and perfectly happy to talk about their products, help you pick out a gift, wrap your purchase, or plan an event! They have a balloon bar where you can get an assortment of letter balloons to spell something fun and big 3 feet balloons decked out with tassels and ribbon. Perfect for party decor or surprising a friend at their party. They have a dedicated studio for personalized cards and greetings and event planning. I imagine these ladies can throw a serious party! I also loved the little desk where you could write your card and place it in outgoing mail right in the shop. What an adorable touch. I will absolutely be back the next time I throw a party (balloons galore!) or when I'm looking for a gift for my sister or lady friends. I am definitely a sucker for cute local shops and Paper Goat Post is the perfect place to get cards, stationary, and other gifts. It is tucked way in the Ivanhoe Village area (next to Cloak and Dapper) behind a water fountain. The shop is owned by twins, Megan and Cedar, and they have created an atmosphere that is cozy and comfortable to browse around and see all of their offerings. The cards line the left wall of the store and is divided in to clear sections (wedding/ babies, birthdays, etc.) The center has displays that include stationary, candles, and other miscellaneous items. One of the best parts is that if you find an item that you want to give as a gift, they have complimentary gift wrapping. This is an absolute joy to someone like me that has zero talent in the area of wrapping. Additionally PGP will host a variety of workshops which is great because it encourages community involvement. It serves as a great place to meet and connect with other people. I haven't personally attended one of these events but I hope to in the future! There is also a studio towards the left side where you can work with PGP to make custom cards and invites for whatever occasion is needed. I ordered bridal shower invites back in December and the twins were amazingly helpful in the process of narrowing down designs and formatting the invites. The price also is something to note because it was not unreasonable, especially for custom made invites. In fact, the whole store is pretty reasonably priced. This has definitely become one of my favorite card shops! read more

Paper Goat Post is such a cute shop! If I ever need to throw a party, this will be my first stop. Invitations, decorations, take-home gifts - they have everything you need to make your friends and family completely envious of your party-throwing skills. I tend to head straight for their card section, which features lots of local and small-batch designs, so you can be certain the recipient hasn't gotten a card like it before. If I was an artsier person, I could see myself going broke here. For now, I stick to cute pens and cards. Tip: Parking can be a pain due to the bars nearby, so try to stop by during their earlier hours to avoid the crowded streets. read more

Never knew this place existed until I came for a Yelp event! I knew I had to come back a few days later to do some real shopping. I found some super adorable gifts for my Secret Santa person, and she loves them. They have great and unique cards, lots of cute baby items that will definitely not be duplicated at a baby shower, and so many other things! I came to buy my Emily Ley planner, and the owner was nice enough to give me the discount that they were offering the next week so I could buy it in time for Christmas. She wrapped up my Secret Santa gifts complimentary, which was perfect because she had NO idea I had her since I suck at wrapping and she was impressed by it haha. We rented The Studio for a bridal shower at The Paper Goat Post and it was fabulous! Due to a problem with another venue, we were able to rent the room within 2 weeks of the event. Cedar was so flexible and hospitable - she even let us set up the day before the shower. We were able to use their refrigerator and some furniture pieces for the shower as well. The shop is so cute and our guests were so impressed by how well the event turned out despite our little hiccup along the way. I highly recommend PGP's Studio rental for all of your events! read more

Absolutely charming! I love local shops that are just filled with tons of trinkets, gifts, stationary, etc where you can just get lost looking at all the detail. I highly recommend this place for stationary and those small household gifts. They also had a cute bridesmaid and wedding section with stationary, and small items with those themes.. What a great addition to the Ivanhoe area. I absolutely love stationery shops, but this is more than that, it's a great spot to get unique gifts, take cool/creative classes, and style your special events. The lovely sisters who own this spot couldn't have designed it better and I find any reason at all to pop in because it's just one of those places where it's hard to not feel happy in. It's definitely been my go to spot for unique birthdays, baby showers, and Christmas gifts.
