We were next door and I saw this place. This is definitely one of the cutest shops I have seen. They had a lot of wrapping paper, gift bags cards, and cards for any and all occasions. I wandered into the store after seeing the weekly calendar planners through the window. I've had problems finding the perfect one for 2022. There are a lot of wonderful items. It's a little pricey, but if you can find a sale going on, definitely recommend purchasing. The salespeople I encountered were pleasant. Love cute stationary stores like Paper Source - so much to see and read. I truly enjoy reading all the fun and cute book covers, office notepads, calendars, toys, etc. My kids love their toys and baby book selection - just got them these board books with baby shark songs and they can't stop listening to them. I also got my nanny this book that she can record what my toddler says (like a daily diary), so we can reflect on the smartest and funniest things he says! Love that they have Capri Blue candles (my favorite candles!) and Sugarfina candies! Their witty gift bags are perfect for my successful yet glam sister friends. The management is friendly and sweet, but some of the people working here (the newer people) definitely need some customer service training from their leadership team. Other than that (and the crazy prices - yes, spent about $100 on five items!!!), Paper Source is such an entertaining store with lots of stationary selections to choose from and that always has a theme for upcoming holidays (ie Halloween, Boss' Day in October) on display in front. read more

Yesterday was my 2nd time at this store in less than a week. They sell beautifully crafted papers that I cannot find in other craft stores like Joann, Michaels, and Hobby Lobby. Unlike these stores, Paper Source does not offer coupons so everything is full price. Because I am making handmade greeting cards for some of my teacher colleagues and mentors, I decided to spend a little extra on some of my supplies. Also, I had to stop by for this large pencil plush I spotted a few days ago. It will look perfect on my desk for this upcoming school year. Because this is the last week of school, their small pencil plush was sold out so my bf was pretty sad he didn't get his hands on it. This is the perfect place for fidget toys, invitations, crafting materials. and cute gifts, stationery, and gift wrap. I love cute little stationary stores like this one! I love browsing at all the little random books, stationary, and gifts this place has to offer. They also have really cute greeting cards for all sorts of occasions. I came here specifically looking for a bridal shower gift. They didn't have a huge selection, but I did find this newlywed daily journal/question book for my friend and soon-to-be-hubby to fill out together. I can see why my sister likes Paper Source so much. This is a great place to purchase unique gifts and original, quirky greeting cards. I wouldn't have thought to come into a store like this if it wasn't for tagging along with my sister on a shopping trip to Broadway Plaza. I thought Paper Source was one of those "girly" stores, but I was wrong. Well, kind of. I was immediately drawn to the greeting card section and it didn't take long for me to find ones I liked. From the simple and cute to the funny and just plain weird, there seems to be a card for just about everyone. These aren't run-of-the-mill Target greeting cards. They're a step above (and also cost a couple extra dollars more too). However, they're worth it because I think the recipient will notice the difference in quality and distinctness. Plus, they're cooler. Along with greeting cards, this store sells invitations, customized stamps, gift wrap, and neat gifts like... Sriracha candy canes! I like the invitation designs. Little did I know, there's a Paper Source in Atlanta too (Virginia Highland). I'll be checking it out in the future. According to its web site, Paper Source has over 70 stores in 24 states. The company plans to continue expansion in 2014. This particular store is located next to the Broadway Plaza shopping center. Like everything else in the area, parking is limited, so you may consider parking in the shopping center's garage. I walked into Paper Source expecting just to browse (or be bored). Instead, I walked out pleasantly surprised with newly purchased greeting cards in hand. I look forward to delivering them. read more

Paper Source I actually never heard of it but me and my friends stopped here for a bit. I love this store. It's not that big but they have tons of cute and "funny" little gifts items and other cute stuff like unicorn things. They have a lot of paper and craft things like pretty gift wraps, ribbons, and different type of cards. I left with a couple of things...when you come here make sure you have plenty of time because you're going to want to look at everything and play with things in the store :). Not sure what happened to the well run, helpful and friendly management but I went in today and 2 of the 3 people working were not just rude to me but also other customers. One customer even looked at me after she was rudely asked to stand on a circle for COVID spacing like "what the heck". There are ways to politely ask but the tone of the employee was not cool. The person ringing up rolled her eyes at a customer out of frustration. Clearly an off day for this store but still not acceptable. I hope they get better for the holidays because it's not fun to shop with rude employees. read more

I came in last week to take a look at the envelopes I needed for my wedding invitations. A person helped explain the different sizes and paper materials. I later found online that there was a sale on their website, so I ordered it with 2-day shipping, expecting to receive it Friday last week. Called the customer service line today as I had still not received the envelopes. Turns out they were out of stock, but it had not been updated on the order status (more a fault on the online side of the company). I asked if I could pick up the envelopes at my nearby Paper Source. The rep called the Walnut Creek location and the store pulled my order together and needed to confirm with the manager that they could honor the 20% off. Came into the store and they were very gracious, even when it was hectic and ultimately gave the 20%. Thank you for accommodating me during the busy holiday season! read more

Yesterday, I called and spoke with the manager to inquire about gift wrapping services. I informed her that I was looking to get my gift wrapped tomorrow. I also inquired about gift wrap for babies and a gender reveal. She told me about 2 other stores that were larger and informed me of the prices. I came in today to get my one gift wrapped. She stated that it will be ready for pickup tomorrow. She went on to say that it is pretty standard for a 24 hour turn around. I drove a long way to get my gift wrapped, and she refused to do it on spot even though it was not crowded in the store. I stated that I had called and she did not tell me about the 24 hour period. She stated that it's up to the discretion of the store to do on spot gift wrapping. I will never patronize this business location. This 24 policy should be on their website. read more

Knick knacks, paper goods, and gift type items oh my! Paper Source is kind of like Papyrus except with a slightly more gift items. I got a mug for a friend here for a gift. My friend and I had fun looking at everything here. From cards to gift wrap, decorations and everything else, there's something for everyone at Paper Source. Liz was very patient with me and took the time to understand what I was using it for so she could give me a good recommendation. She took her time and I didn't feel like I was being rushed. The service is horrendous. I love this store and wanted to have gifts for my mom wrapped for her birthday. Employees were nice with the exception of the main person I worked with. I had three or four small gifts wrapped with the wrapping paper it was $100!! They did not listen to instructions Messed up my expensive wrapping paper and made me buy more when I found out I had to buy more because they wrapped a gift in a big box and I asked for it wrapped in small box. They argued with me and said I did not give that instruction although I had bought a small box for the item to be wrapped in. I told them I have a dinner tonight I need the gifts for but was told several times I could pick them up the next day. Then I was called to be told it would take longer then the estimate I got there one girl was wrapping and the other one was talking and watching her. After spending $100 I had to do all of the bows myself because most of the employees just stand around. I had to finish the gifts myself. Oh and one girl said wrapping books is hard. It is a paper store with employees that have never wrapped a gift. I won't go back and I loved that store. They did not give me the credit back for the extra wrapping paper after it was their fault. The main blonde was rude and had no customer service skills. Go to Papyrus, employees are nice and are taught how to wrap gifts and give good service. read more

This place has really adorable stuff, some on the pricier side but worth it for that specialty item. However my experience with extremely poor service means I probably won't shop there again. I was shopping for cards or something to make card/trinkets to invite people to be in my wedding party. I rushed over on a Sunday after yoga, 30 minutes before closing. I knew they were closing soon but made it a point to hurry so as not to be in the store late. There were many employees (and some customers) in the store. The employees were working on taking down their Christmas items, it seemed like a good sized move. I understand they had a big project on their hands, but they were still open, and no one spoke to me at all. I looked all over the store for ideas, but was at a loss. I needed help, and wanted to spend money. My fiancé came to meet me a few minutes before the store closed, I decided not to buy anything that night but wanted to show him what I had found. As we reentered the store (I stepped outside to greet him) a woman came up to us and said "just so you know we are closing in a couple minutes." Yes! I know! And you are being very rude about it! Why didn't I know about this store sooner! Just discovered you 2 weeks ago. You literally walk in the door and your jaw drops. Then the 'Oooo, that's so pretty' and 'Awww, isn't that a fabulous idea!''. So much fun stuff. Papers are gorgeous, ideas galore AND they have affordable classes. The cashiers here are well trained and know their stock and are quick to offer really helpful suggestions and go out of their way to help you. Love this place! Not only do they have great cards and wrapping paper, but the merchandise changes frequently so there are always new items in the store. They are a great place for finding unique gifts for those people who seem to "have everything." I've done a few special projects lately and the staff has always been great when it comes to helping me pick the right papers, envelopes & embellishments. One of my guilty pleasures has been buying the "Do It Yourself" kits. I've had so many compliments on my unique garlands and decorations. Next on my list is to take one of their classes. I had such an insulting experience here that I felt the need to download yelp just to warn everyone of the service you may receive. I'm in my early twenties and came in with my boyfriend. We were dressed comfy in sweats and sneakers. I guess this means we are too broke to afford their services... I walked in and was commenting on how beautiful the paper and everything was. I said I've never been here before and I'm blown away by all the gorgeous merchandise! The lady working doesn't say thank you or engage in conversation. She just laughed at me with her nose in the air and walked away. I asked if they wrap gifts and she hesitated but finally said yes, they wrap gifts. I got excited and asked my boyfriend to grab my friends b day present from the car while I look around. Then this lady made a point to tell me (in an extremely condescending tone) that it could get expensive. I told her I didn't mind and kept looking around. A few moments later she comes up to me again and tries to talk me out of buying anything. In a snobby voice she says "I hope you know that if you want something wrapped by us, you must pay for the roll of paper, the box, the tissue paper, and the gift wrap fee. It adds up you know." THEN I hear her gossiping about us to her co-worker. When she realized I can hear her they start whispering to each other, still keeping their eyes on me and my bf. Once I choose a paper she aplogizes.. there wasn't anyone working who could wrap the gift that she saw us get from the car and carry around the store the entire time. I thought how disrespectful that she would question my ability to afford their services multiple times instead of just simply telling me that there wasn't a gift-wrapper in the store. I had made it very clear that I wanted this gift wrapped and she let me look around for 15 minutes and pick out everything before telling me this crucial piece of information. Then she tells me where I can find bags and tissue and AGAIN points out something about the price. I got snappy with her at this point and said "In case you haven't caught on I'm not worried about the price!" I finally walk up to pay and am completely ignored by the co-worker. I try to get the lady's attention but it's no use. When she finally acknowledges me, it is only to tell me that someone else will help me at the other register because she's helping this couple who got in line BEHIND me. Like are you kidding me? How much worse can the service get? I couldn't believe the demeaning way in which I was treated. It was an embarrassing and belittling experience. read more

I have had a very bad -- and sad -- experience with ordering personal stationery from this store. The envelopes in the order were not gummed properly and do not stick. While I can still use them, I have to use scotch tape and/or stickers to close the envelopes. Not the image I paid hundreds of dollars for when ordering personalized stationery! I have been back to the store twice and while the employees in the store have been very pleasant, and it's clear they understand my displeasure, nothing has been done about the problem -- in fact, I haven't even gotten a call or email from the back office despite leaving my number and email address on all my visits to the store. read more

This store is sensation overload for me. As you walk in you're surrounded by beautiful paper, walk in further and you're bombarded by craft supplies, and eventually you hit the wall of cards. There are so many things that I love about this store and I was thrilled that they finally opened one closer to my house. The employees are super friendly, they know the stock and they know how to craft. When I was creating stuff for my wedding I had a staff member sit down with me and show me different techniques until I was satisfied I could do them on my own. When I'm in the mood to make some cards I like to walk around and look at the different cards hanging around the store for inspiration. They also have classes in the store though I have yet to attend. My ONLY complaint since I'm giving this place 4 instead of 5 stars is that they have too much random gift type stuff and not enough crafting supplies. Their website has a TON of stuff and I hate to order it online if there's a store down the street. read more

Not only do I love the fun and random variety of the products at the store, they have an ever-changing supply of cool little gifts, books, cards and craft supplies. I wish I had people to buy all of these cute little things for! They have a lot of funny cards as well as a lot of calendars.
