One of the best things about this place is simply walking around and letting the inspiration come to you! I ended up buying three random trophy stands for sculptures I'm working on, and all three together were only 15 cents! The prices are amazing. You're welcome to donate while checking out, and you can also pay what you feel is fair based on your budget and what you think the item is worth. They do provide a suggested price when you check out, so it doesn't feel like an uncomfortable haggling situation. Whether you're looking for supplies for a craft night with friends, working on your own projects, or just want to browse and get inspired, this is a great place to visit. They also have a small selection of newer items from local artists, including artwork, prints, and jewelry available for purchase. You truly never know what you might find here!

They help keep things out of landfills, especially unusual items that recycling programs typically won't take. I was enjoying just wandering around, when they finished she came over to say Hi and make sure I was finding what I needed. She pointed out a section of the store that I might have missed and pointed out some adorable note cards in my themes. I was so impressed by the amount of merchandise that is made in the USA and I found so many fun things in the themes of the parties. Cocktail napkins, note cards, bath bombs, shower scent items and so many cute baby things. I'll be back for sure, good customer service and lots of quality products made here in the USA. Each artist has a shelf or a little area inside the store. There were some beautiful bird baths and garden stuff. My favorite section of the store is the bookshelf in the back on the left that contains those Arcadia history books. Each one is about a certain piece of Cincinnati's history. Some talk about immigrants, others about neighborhoods, and some about families and companies that have flourished here. I like looking through these books as they are fascinating! I ended up purchasing an "I love OTR" sticker for $2 and am very happy and proud to finally own one. The owner is super sweet and is open most of the time but will open up shop if you have the shop's card and will come down and open it up for you!

He settled for a different one, but as we walked back down the street, she had found it and even came out calling for us to see if he wanted to swap. So nice! The owner apparently is open to taking calls if you need her to open up shop for something when they are closed. This is a great store to browse on a lazy OTR walking day, or if you are looking for some interesting gifts or jewelry off the beaten path.

Have…read more LASERS!!! *wink* FIRST OFF -- can we acknowledge how Lucca's *not only* woman-owned, but also celebrates that women can be manufacturing engineers, designers, and successful businesspeople?! It was really cool to read about the owner's past experiences in her father's machine shop that inspired her to take everything on. That being said, I am a sucker for Art Deco/geometric design aesthetic, and Lucca is swimming in zigzags and sunbursts. They have an assortment of laser engraved wooden items - kitchen utensils, cutting boards; a mix of gift items - engraved greeting cards, customizable paper cards; and some really stunning home goods items. Some of my favorites were the engraved furniture - still trying to think of a way to make it work at home. I'm loving the trend of woman-owned businesses popping up in Cincinnati ... especially when they showcase careers in math, science, engineering.
