At the time, my husband just wanted to get rid of his old console and would be happy with any amount he made. The store has a wide selection of video games for a variety of consoles. But I stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon alone with a mission: Magic the Gathering cards. I was looking for Innistrad bundle set (2021), which they did not have. The shopkeeper led me to a small section of the store and they have very limited trading card games available. They had the draft set booster for way over the market price. They had it listed for $139 when TCGPlayer has brand new, factory sealed for $78, and have median pricing ~$103. Maybe it was because I was passive or didn't do in-depth research prior, but I felt hostility from the shopkeeper - like he needed me to make a decision and buy something despite they said they didn't have the bundle set I was looking for or get out. They stood by me as I processed what I should do since they didn't have the bundle set I was looking for. I simply thanked them for their time and left.

If you are just interested in checking out a record store I think you'll be satisfied here. But I like coffee shops and I loved my coffee and my breakfast sandwich. I got the Caramel Creme Brulee latte which was delicious. They even singe the top like a real creme brulee! It sounds like it will be too sweet but it isn't; great flavor balance with the coffee flavor not being overtaken. They sell a variety of beans as well. There is a nice sidewalk patio area, and it's a comfortable, chill hangout spot in this lively urban neighborhood. I like it very much here!

The record selection is amazing with a great mix of new and used records, plus a super fun section of $2 records where you can fill a bag and find some real gems. The coffee is excellent. The breakfast sandwich is house made and prepared fresh for you, and everything we tried was delicious. The caramel brulee latte is truly something special. It has a full cap of caramelized sugar on top and is honestly exquisite. Service is outstanding. Friendly faces, quick service, and such a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. There are lots of seating options and plenty of natural light, making it a great place to hang out, relax, work a bit, or browse records. Overall just a fun, feel-good spot that combines great coffee, great music, and great people. One of those places you leave already planning to come back.

My wife and I were there looking for records for her collection. Besides one other customer and…read moretwo employees at 4pm on Friday 10-24-2025, we were the only people in the store. The used vinyl records she was interested in were in plastic sleaves that had been taped closed. We had never seen this in any other record store. After opening up three of them to inspect the records inside, only to find they were all heavily scratched, we were putting them back in there sleaves when the younger of the two employees came up to us an asked us to leave for taking the records out of their "security sleaves". I asked him if he was serious and if the store really wanted people to buy their used, scratched records without inspecting them and he told us both to leave again. So we did. As we approached the older employee near the door I said, "I've never been to another record store where we couldn't inspect the records before purchasing". He didn't respond, but the younger employee yelled, "Goodbye!". I guess he didn't realize they would have most likely doubled their sales for the day if he had just treated us with some common curtesy. We will never be back.
