However, I developed encapsulation pretty badly, even-though I had had saline implants before for 40 years. They thought the Mentor group who supplied the implants would warranty them, they didn't so Cool Springs had to eat it. Second surgery to replace went much, much worse. I have a stage 4 encapsulation which they say Mentor will not take care of. My sister works for a plastic surgeon in Atlanta. She deals with Mentor all the time on saline implants. With that group the reps always stand behind their product whether saline or silicone implants. Don't understand what is going on with the lying reps with Cool Springs Plastic Surgery but guess where I am going next.

We walked out of his office, cyst free. Everyone working there supported us through every step. My daughter, who was understandably nervous, told me that the nurse, Deana, made sure that she was comfortable and helped calm her, while still assisting Dr. Bengelsdorf. My daughter also said that Dr. Bengelsdorf was very, calming, and very nice, and that he talked to her throughout the procedure, letting her know what was going to happen. In the meantime, the receptionist, Trina, and the manager, Sarah, both supported me while I waited. Then, the next morning, after my daughter had a chance to rest, we went back to the office. Dr. Bengelsdorf taught her how to pack and dress the wound. But more importantly, his words gave her the confidence she needed to care for it herself. Last night and this morning, she wasn't afraid, she knew what to do and she knew it wouldn't hurt. I was disappointed with his lack of caring when I developed a serious infection from the procedure and ended up in the ER. He hung up on me and my daughter when we called for help before going in to the ER. The ER doctor called Burgdorf ( his friend from church) and I was sent home, after two urgent care nurses had sent us to the ER due to the severity of the infection. We returned to Burgdorfs office the next week where the nurses cut off the infected parts and treated the foul odor. Upon seeing the scarring after the procedure, Burgdorf said there was nothing he would do for it. He did not offer solutions.. I was embarrassed that I had paid him so much money only to look worse after the procedure. He also removed fat from my hips, which are now uneven, a minor thing in comparison. Ive stayed quiet about his treatment as I'm embarrassed about having the plastic surgery. A friend told me it's my fault if he does the same to someone else, so with no other recourse, here's my review.
