The TRO was tossed yesterday by a good judge who saw this for what it was. We called Mr. McLaughlin, he was dismissive and didn't want to get his soft hands dirty by actually trying to help someone. These people rent a ROOM in Pittsburg, one has had a stroke, and he required $500, with a rate of $250/hour to pay his, "$25,000/month in expenses". He was rude, and not helpful. We didn't want to get married to him, we needed something quick and dirty, ....... how bout just a referral to a different Pro Bono (means for the good of the client) attorney. Doesnt he know he can write off his hours of pro bono work on his taxes. Yikes. wouldnt touch this guy with a 10-foot pole. He just wants money. If you have a lot of money, to waste, go to him.
