Emily and Ofer were so relaxed and calm and accepting of my son's mood, that it put me at ease and by default, my son. We got some fantastic pictures! Emily and Ofer are really exceptional people as well, and they LOVE what they do. I am always amazed at the pictures that they take because they often uncover something that you might not have noticed about a person, a place or the combination of the factors. What emerges is beauty. I also LOVE that they give you the photos so you can use them in so many ways. It was…read moreimmediately obvious that his pictures are in a different league from those of "wedding photographers": artistic without being artsy or pretentious, natural, perfectly composed, capturing all the emotion - each picture (of people who were strangers to me, no less) "moved" me. My daughter and son-in-law interviewed several other photographers, and quickly realized that Andrew was the one. He is a pleasure to work with and asked all the right questions of the bride and groom to find out what they were hoping for. On the wedding day Andrew had everything under control (even the things we didn't!). The posed pictures were fast and easy, and I noticed Andrew and his terrific assistant (also a great photographer in his own right) exactly once during the ceremony and reception - at the very end; they could have been watching TV in the bride's room and we wouldn't have known, they were that unobtrusive. So we have no idea how they managed to shoot hundreds of beautiful pictures, beyond any hopes or expectations, capturing every important moment and more throughout the day. Our only complaint is that each picture is so fabulous, it's going to be excruciating to do the selection for the albums. What a great experience for the whole family to work with this delightful and talented consummate professional.

She understood what my spouse and I were talking about when we told…read moreher about being a queer and polyamorous couple, and that our wedding wasn't going to have a lot of the traditional elements (like a ceremony, first look, first dance, wedding attendants, cake-cutting, etc.) - it was a relief to get to describe what we wanted to a vendor who was part of the community and familiar with different kinds of queerness and relationships. She made sure to ask about who in our party was out, and to what degree, just in case a sticky situation arose. Cate managed to capture both formal portraits and nice-looking outtakes from in-between formal portraits; got photos of all our guests, and took a lot of candid photos from the dance floor without us even realizing she was there until we saw the album afterwards. She captured all of the detail shots that we had asked for, and innovated a couple of her own that were much appreciated. Both of us have terrible memories, and rely heavily on photographs to remember even really important events. Cate understood this and did a great job photographing things so that we would be able to remember them without worrying. We paid for six hours of just Cate working, which included time spent on the formal photographs, and resulted in just over 700 photos processed and sent to us far faster than we had expected! I think it took her a month or two less than her estimated timeline. Her rate isn't cheap, but she was absolutely worth it, and we were happy to have her working for us for the day! She's been enthusiastic the whole way through, great at adjusting on the fly, and stellar about following up with us. (This review is for our wedding a year and a half ago - I just found the draft I'd written in 2023 and realized I never posted it anywhere!)

From the moment we reached out to inquire about her availability, Cate has been super responsive and we could tell she was genuinely interested in our story as well as how we wanted to tell that story through photos. The session went as well as I could have imagined - Cate made us feel so comfortable to be ourselves in front of the camera by connecting with us, listening to our wishes and offering so many ways for us to relax, focus on each other and feel pretty. And the final photos! are! gorgeous! The intimate vibe we loved and wanted to capture is there in our photos, but it also feels unique to us and isn't just a replica of Cate's previous work. There isn't a photo in which we faked our smiles - they're all eye-squinting nose-wrinkling happy laughs and giggles and tender moments because we had that much fun during our session. Her edits were beautiful and when I had an additional request, she was very accommodating as well. Now my only regret is that our wedding isn't remotely close to Connecticut so that we could have Cate as our photographer. But you would never know it from the photos. They caught every important and special moment even without having been briefed on the ceremony. They are geniuses with lighting. I thought I could never take a good candid photo, but wow, did they prove otherwise. I am glowing in every shot. They made us feel at ease and skillfully guided us into natural smiles and poses. TLDR: Repeated periods of ghosting, unusable edits, and ultimately having to hire another company…read moreto fix my wedding photos at additional cost. 1.5 years later I'm finally getting my completed collection of photos, no thanks to Angel. -- Angel photographed my wedding in September 2024 and was wonderful on the wedding day. Everything that happened after that was unacceptable. She sent sneak peeks in November and then basically vanished. I had to chase her down repeatedly and finally received the full gallery 7 months later in March. The images were strangely muted and washed out, so I requested a simple round of edits. She agreed and said they would be ready by June. June came and went with no delivery and no communication. My messages and calls were ignored. Weeks later she briefly responded, saying she was dealing with personal issues, and then stopped responding again for months. By August, my wedding planner had to contact her directly because she would not reply to me at all. Only after my planner stepped in did she respond and send "updated edits." Those edits were dramatically over processed, with orange skin tones, unnatural saturation, and distorted colors. Some images labeled as re edited appeared unchanged from the originals. When I asked for corrections, she again stopped responding entirely. After multiple additional follow ups, she sent another batch of edits that appeared to be processed through an automated editing tool rather than individually retouched. I have attached before and after examples. At that point, I requested the raw files so I could hire another company to salvage the photos at my own expense. It is now February 2026, a year and a half after my wedding, and I am only just receiving properly edited images. In addition, there were issues with the original photography itself that a professional photographer should have noticed such as cluttered backgrounds in getting ready photos and ceremony images that lacked accurate color due to camera settings. I have attached before and after examples demonstrating the original delivery and the later edits, which show extreme color shifts, unnatural skin tones, and significant image distortion. Wedding photos cannot be redone. The repeated lack of communication, missed deadlines, and substandard edits made this one of the most stressful vendor experiences I have ever had. PS- My original positive review is still displayed on her Instagram page without any context about the significant issues that followed, which I believe is misleading to potential clients.

Out wedding package was supposed to come with a wedding album that we have yet to receive. My wedding was may of 2021. The first wedding album was supposedly delivered to my house which was not the case. The second she states was destroyed when a pipe burst at her studio. This was after she conveniently forgot to bring it to our maternity photoshoot. She did give us a free maternity photoshoot for the inconvenience of all of this which was nice. But we were still under the impression we would still get our wedding album as promised. We have been waiting for months at this point for our "third" wedding album. We have emailed and texted her without answers. This is really unacceptable.
