Oh dear...
Not the best way to begin a review, but when you walk into Parabanks Fruit Market you'll be thinking something similar. I find this place quite difficult to understand, let me explain why.
You have a smallish fruit and veg store, literally 2 shops down from Woolworths, so you would be thinking they'd want to be competitive to keep the "fresh food people" on their toes. You'll notice the word "fresh" isn't in their store name though, and with good reason.
I'll explain what I saw when I first walked in. Cheap mangoes that were so soft, my fingers felt like they would have sunk into it if I'd tried to pick it up, some dried up spring onions with 99c written on them, bruised apples... it was almost enough to make me turn around and walk straight out again.
If you go to the back there are some items that don't look like they're at the end of their life cycle, and there is also a refrigerator with some nice looking juices, but that first impression really sits with you.
