You go into the liquor store and let them know you are doing a propane refill. They have a separate register in the entrance they will ring you up with. They take credit card. Process was super quick. $25 for a 20lb refills. This is higher than what I used to pay in Michigan, but definitely a better value than exchanges. I wouldn't make a trip out here from Brooklyn just for this, but will definitely bring an empty tank with me if I'm heading out here.

Besides the prices being very high, my main complaint is with the service department. I put in a pool heater (which requires a building permit). It was necessary to get two more propane tanks. Paraco did not install them properly and they failed inspection. Because they also took their sweet time with all of this, my building permit expired before I could have this corrected and it cost me another $600 to have it renewed plus $2000 to have another company come in to correct it. I decided to get my service from another company, and now Paraco has not come to pick up their old tanks which are sitting in my front yard for over a month. I find their way of doing business very unprofessional.

After the getting the contract and signing the contract for the first year we had some propane delivered. Second year in my state did not get too cold so we did not need or use any. This year has been colder so we had used 35 gallons so far this winter. This is my second source of heat for the house incase my power were to go out. They came and filled up our propane and then we get billed at $6.00 a gallon. When we checked prices is going for $2.75 to $3.25 in our area. But far from $6.00. This company decided to charge us more because we didn't buy propane from them last year so they raised our prices this year. We called them and had a few words to figure out why our price was so high, and they said its because if you don't buy a certain set amount of propane they can double or triple the going rate to make up for the other years. With this terrible business tactic, I decided to drop them instantly and get another company making sure this is the only company going to take advantage of me and my family. And the new company laughed and said they have gained so many new customers this year because of this company. I'm not the only one. So, we called them to have this tank picked up and service canceled. They are charging us 195 to cancel and will come pick up the tank. But they will not disconnect we would have to either do ourselves or have someone else come disconnect. And they offered a company that would come do it. So, what our we paying 195 for. They replied thats to come get the tank. I said well disconnecting is part of coming to pick up the tank. Customer Service 0 out of 5 stars Service 1 out of 5. 1 star because they did never let the tank run empty. But made sure to charge whatever would make them more money even if that meant charging three times the going rate.

The tank had a faulty on/off valve and I wanted to exchange it for another and while there purchase an additional tank. The gentleman at the counter said, "you bought it, I can't give you an exchange" After years as a customer his curt off the cuff remark floored me. If that's their customer service attitude, I'm done. If I could give them no stars I would gladly do that.

Had them come to clean my grill. $75/half hour. The first time the guy said it was done, I went out…read moreto look at it and he never did the bottom of the grates, said I'd have to burn it off, and the grease drawer was on the ground uncleaned. The second time he said he was done, he had done the bottom of the grates and put the drawer back in the grill. I had to take care of something, so I paid him, gave him a tip, and he left. I just checked (almost three hours later), and he never cleaned the drawer. Maybe he wiped it down, but it's filthy. And he never cleaned the sizzle station burner. The top of the grate is spotless, but the bottom is disgusting. I could wipe off the grease with a paper towel, so it's not like it was baked on. And the tub that the burner sits in is filled with grease. Now I have to take it apart and do his job but no one is going to pay me $150/hour to do it. Do not hire these people to clean your grill. They're counting on you not checking and just cooking right over last year's grease. I even told the guy who made the appointment that it usually takes me over four hours to clean it, and he said it would take them an hour. Yeah, when you don't clean, it can take as long or as short as you want it to.

They are one of the only places I know that fill ALL different types of gases. The manager and staff inside the office are really cool and helpful. They will help you with anything that you need. Again they are very knowledgeable on all gases or products that they sell/handle. Their shop is small but have everything you need. They will get you in and out and quickly, with no problems at all! I'd for sure recommend them to ANYONE. And I'd go back there before I would try any other place! 5 stars for sure! Great experience!!!
