Do not go here for DMV services -- you would be far better off going to the *actual* DMV. At least at the DMV you expect to be treated poorly by individuals looking for a reason not to help. I am happy to report I have only had *good* experiences at the DMV recently. Avoid this place at all costs. I would cancel my membership if the roadside assistance were not so helpful. read more

Go to the real DMV. They give you wrong information, waste your time, don't have the full authority of the DMV. There's one particularly annoying mouth breather there who's very proud to ruin your day with bureaucracy and paperwork. She stinks. I spent the time following NY DMVs website instructions only to be stopped in my tracks by these smooth brains. read more

Wasn't planning to review this when I went in but the service was so amazing I think it deserves the recognition! We filled out the paperwork for tsa pre check online and scheduled an appointment ahead of time (I believe walk ins are also available). We found out you need to be a AAA member to get the pre check but you could sign up for a $2.50/month fee and cancel at anytime so it wasn't a terrible price. We were in and out within 20 minutes and the two people we worked with directly were fantastic! Definitely worth it! read more

Pleasent staff, makes it easy to solve issues, including DMV issue,and Currency exchange.

They processed the paperwork for my son to get his drivers license. They put a "do not mail" notification on it, however, without telling me or my son. Two months later, we learned of this for the first time. It's not worth going to AAA to handle the paperwork - go directly to the department of motor vehicles. When they are open they are great, but on my arrival yesterday 9/21/2022 the sign on the door said temporarily CLOSED. There is nothing to indicate if and when they might reopen. I met a women who had been there the previous Tuesday and was told to come back Thursday. When she arrived the temporarily CLOSED sign had been posted :( read more

Simply outstanding. I was there on Saturday (with an appointment) to take care of my Title, and today to update my NY Lic to the enhanced version. The customer service is fantastic. They were all friendly, and new exactly what needed to be done. Can't recommend this place enough. So well worth the AAA membership on its own. While I was there, was able to get passport photos done (free first set and $6 second set) - So convenient and a million times better than going to the DMV and dealing with the lines and attitudes, especially if you made a mistake on the form or have the incorrect form. If your a member of AAA this location is the place to go, unlike any DMV, if they can help you, they will. They go out of their way for all their customers, I saw this the two times I've been there. Make sure they can handle your needs before you go, they don't do everything DMV does, but boy was the experience night & day compared to the DMV. Went in for an International Driver's Permit (IDP) today. Whole thing took about 20 mins. Walked in without an appointment and was helped right away. The people who work here are attentive. You fill out a form and take a passport picture. IDP cost $20. 2 passport photos cost $16. read more

Went in to get an IDP - not a AAA member. 10 minutes later, walked out with the IDP - time to take the photo's included. Also - it was clear the other people who were being helped were talking to someone who knew what they were doing. Thumbs up! read more

My husband and I went in to change licenses and the people working there could not have been nicer or more competent. My situation was complicated due to out of state exchange with social security proof different than NY's and also because of a 20 year old NY ticket I did not know about. They made calls for me and assisted me so that I had a clear understanding of what needed to be done to resolve the outstanding matters and also came up with a strategy to address the out of state issue. And we had a great time while we were there because they were all really warm and funny. Same experience when I returned the next week to finish the transaction after doing the things they identified for me. So much better than going to DMV!!! read more

The worst, worst company I have ever dealt with. They are so disorganized. You can't get anyone on the phone for 30 minutes, and then when you finally have a human voice, they give you completely wrong information. I used their DMV services and had excellent help. I signed up for a time slot, arrived a few minutes late because of traffic, and was taken in kindly and without comment. The two team members helped me fix issues with my license that I have spent the last 2 years at other dmvs trying to fix. You can get what you need but be prepared for employees who are unaware of what they can do for you and uninterested in helping. Came here three times for simple things, twice unnecessarily thanks to the incompetence of the person who gave me the wrong information over the phone. You're better off at the DMV. read more
