We used the Mirage Ballroom on 10/21/23 for my husband's surprise 50th birthday party. I worked primarily with Helenya, who was amazing. Not only was she pleasant to work with but she is also a great communicator. She help whenever possible to minimize the stress of planning for the surprise party. I am not amused with this place for being a banquet hall they appear not to know what they are doing... I had set up a grazing table for a large event and they threw away the wood board?! Along with crystal glasses! I can't even believe that they would throw away a wooden table and the glasses that was not all during the event they did not put any plates at the appetizer table after asking several times they finally put plates but they put dinner plates?!?! And huge cereal spoons? I do not recommend this place if you are having a large event they need to take care of these details that is what people are paying for I am sure there are other halls that take care of all these details read more

Exceeded my expectations in every way. First of all let me just say that this place is so beautiful. The family that became the new owners did a fantastic job in updating it and creating good energy in their space. We had Fremont's first ever Mama's Night out, for Unravel Pediatric Cancer. We are all volunteers and since this was our first time hosting in Fremont, budget was very important! The support and flexibility they gave us was so AMAZING. They really went above and beyond. So thank you for being part of a night that changes and touches so many families. Best night of my life!!! We had our reception party at mirage ballroom in November and I couldn't be happier! First and foremost, Masood (the owner) is amazing. I have never worked with anyone who is so detail oriented, fair, and polite. He gave us a great price for a full menu and all my guests thought the food was amazing. He went out of his way to make sure EVERYTHING was perfect and to our liking. He stayed all night to make sure everything was going well. His staff was amazing, kept food replenished, tables clean and every time I looked over they were talking and laughing with guests. We had people come to us and tell us that not only was this the best wedding reception they had been to but that the food was excellent and plentiful The hall itself is decorated nicely with beautiful art and tasteful crystals and chandeliers. Love love love working at this gorgeous venue! Our floral design & decor company, Shakor Decor has worked at both of their venues, Paradise Ballroom and the Mirage multiple times. Both spaces are absolutely beautiful and easy for us to work with any type of theme our clients can imagine. Each ballroom has built in uplighting all around the space which is so easy for our clients to choose which lighting setting they would like to go with weeks before their actual event. Not only is the venue beautiful, but the best part is the staff is so accommodating, professional and friendly. Compared to a lot of the Fremont venues, I've seen that many of our clients who book this venue are very happy and have a wonderful experience when booking here. My brother did his wedding here. It was a really good experience. Because of his experience my fiancé and I decided to do our wedding there. We had paid the 2k deposit and the first half of our wedding payment. The pandemic struck and we returned our first payment but NOT DEPOSIT. It was an extremely hard time on all of us. My entire family got Covid here and my family over seas were unable to attend because of travel restrictions. We politely asked for our deposit back to make. We were planning on booking again once restriction's lightened up. The owners son which i believe his name is Raman ignored us Every time we messaged him. We were then left with a "TAKE ME TO COURT I DO NOT HAVE YOUR DEPOSIT" response. We were completely shocked and I was very upset and emotional. These people are not only thieves, they have to worst customer service (not staff-BUT THE OWNERS). I never thought we would be treated so poorly. This pandemic hit all of us and to us 2k is a lot of money. We weren't even offered to hold it as a deposit. I would take your 30k and spend it else where. read more

April 2012 This ballroom is pretty, with two different levels of seating and a catering area and a stage. My group rented this space for a conference banquet where 100+ people attended. I saw at least one table had to be set up after everyone had gotten their food and several people had no table to sit at. The food was pretty tasty, all buffet style - 2 or 3 different salads (at the time I was in line, the rolls were out), a spread of fruit, pasta, chicken in creamy sauce, I give this place one star though, because I did not appreciate the service of the staff or the so-called manager. At least two phones were missing when the lights were turned off for performances on stage and staff were noisily cleaning up at tables where we were still sitting at, trying to watch the performances. Personal belongings were at these tables and again, at least two phones went missing. When I approached the manager, he said they'll probably turn up after the lights come back on, just standing there, wasn't going to do anything about it. Are you kidding me? If those phones were stolen, how would they magically appear after the lights came back on and for you to do nothing about it? The phones were not recovered. What an ass. Also, 2 of the 3 women's toilets did not actually flush, so only one toilet worked, which caused a back up of women waiting in line - not good when half or more of the group are women at this banquet. Apparently, there was another restroom, but we were not allowed over there. read more

I just had my wedding reception at Paradise Palace and this place is a hidden gem! the venue sells itself and looks very nice even w/ out decorations. Me and my Wife actually changed our reception venue from a restaurant in Fremont to Paradise Palace in the beginning of the year and WE'RE SO GLAD WE DID!! The Staff is GREAT!! The catering company's they work with are great, quality of the food amazing. The price of the venue is resonable and I'm indian we do wedding receptions huge and we had 350 Guests and Paradise palace was able to accomodate our guests comfortably with a dessert table, dance floor and photo booth!! Our Wedding was 8/23/14- Starting off! The HALL itself looks amazing. Staff at the Paradise & Mirage are super friendly and accomodating. I enjoyed everything since the first time we booked this venue. Day of- Everything was prepared as soon as our guests came in, staff is super attentive and helpful. Servers are always walking around making sure everything was perfect. We had both Mariachi and Banda and it was perfect! Most important the food is always delicious and a lot of our guests gave us many compliments. Overall, my wedding turned out to be the best party experience ever, thanks to you guys! We had our wedding reception earlier this year at Paradise Ballrooms for ~400 guest. We loved the venue from the first day we saw it, and have absolutely no regrets about our choice. That place runs well because of RAMAN! Period. I know it is a family business, but Raman deserves a raise, lol. If it weren't for him and his professionalism and cool personality, they would not be as successful as they are. He is always there and is the go to guy for any and everything. Pros: -Raman -Reasonably priced for large weddings -Built in stage -Chandeliers -Full service event (servers, bar attendants, etc. included in pricing) -Flexible management Cons: -Asymmetric ballroom (Mirage is symmetrical) -A Hall next door (Mirage) so parking may be a challenge, but our event started first so this wasn't an issue for us. Also, we were never disturbed by the other wedding at the Mirage, forgot it was even happening the same day! Not sure if they would say the same though, lol. -The location isn't "pretty" on the outside. But you forget about that once you are inside b/c the venue is beautiful. -Small cocktail space for a large event so people may hang out in their cars. But still a beautiful cocktail space. -Inconsistent food but good effort (would take off 1/2 a star for this honestly). Plus an option to bring outside catering if you prefer. Overall, we have no regrets about using the venue. The experience with management was exceptional. They were so accommodating and helpful. This helped make wedding planning a bit easier. My review is based on the catering service we receive the place is beautiful and Leticia is wonderful. I was celebrating my daughter's 15th birthday and as you know we've been planning this for several years and wanted it to be perfect I really wish I got to meet the catering service before ,the food was undercooked also the soda flat and the punch water down .the Caterers were extremely rude and unwelcoming the food was not served on time which made my event run late. They kept rushing my guess and every time my guess would get up to the restroom or to dance they would remove their plates and drinks from the table this is extremely upsetting that I have this all on video where they're tossing my daughter's cake because I asked them to cut it not to mention my daughter's toast was never done because they removed them from tables it seemed like they were ensuring to clean before the party was over that way they can leave right away. My guess also slipped several times in the restrooms because no one was making sure that the floor was mopped. Please dont use their catering service dont make the same mistake we made. Don't ruin your special day with negative vibes and undercooked food. read more

BEWARE! Owner will steal your $2000 deposit even though HE COULD NOT PROVIDE SERVICE for the event due to Covid19. It even goes against the contract which states "This security ($2000) is non-refundable if the lessee cancels or changes date of event, regardless of cancellation." We neither cancelled nor changed the date! And when we asked for a letter for proof of their cancellation, it was misleading and read "X came into Paradise Ballrooms to no longer have his event due to Covid-19" even though we made our intentions clear from the get-go! MY ADVICE: DO NOT BOOK EVENTS DURING THIS TIME! No one really knows when event halls will be allowed to provide service!!! Will be contacting lawyers! read more

We are planing to have our wedding reception at the Mirage Ballroom. So far, we've had a great experience. We had to change dates (push up by 2 weeks) and management was very accommodating and changed the date for us without a fuss or additional charges. Management asked us if we would like to have the venue from 6-12 or 7-1... so you can pick according to how late you think your party will run until. I think this place has better service than many other Indian/Asian run businesses. The venue looks very nice, so we will save money of additional decorations. The food is catered by Raja Sweets. Overall, we have had a positive experience so far. I hope it remains this way until the end and will update the review after we have the event. read more

Came here for co-workers Indian wedding. Everything was GORGEOUS! unlike any other wedding Ive ever been too. Then again, it was my first indian wedding haha. The decorations were really nice. Chandeliers were definitely my favorite part of the hall. The place is huge, seemed like there was over 500+ people there. The restrooms in the front get crowded, but later I found out they have additional restrooms in the back. (wish they put a sign) The food was a little spicy for me, I havent had Indian food very many times. There were only a couple dishes I could handle, but the good thing is that there was food from the beginning to the end. Staff was good, they were quick at picking up dishes etc... In search of our venue, my hubby remembered he went to a couple of weddings at Paradise so we decided to check it out. In our meeting with Masoud who is one of the managers we knew that we are in good hands. Masoud worked with us and helped us in finding people for our chair cover. Anytime we needed to go in and check, he made sure that it is available to us. At the night everything was it was promised, everyone were happy and impressed with Mirage Ballroom. We had a blast time and I am sure our guests did too. The team were very helpful and professional, I only got one comment from my guests about one of the lady staffs who was serving there as off rest everyone were so accommodating. The entire staff was very professional, accommodating, and went above and beyond. My guests could not stop talking about how friendly and welcoming the staff was. I've been meaning to write this review for a while now. I had my wedding at Paradise Palace on September 2, 2012. I had a wonderful experience with the the manager and staff during the planning and the day of. The price is AMAZING for all that they provided. Our package included the hall rental, the food (which was really good, and we had really great feedback on it from the guests), soda and coffee were included, security and more. We had to pay a fee for a bartender but they let us bring our own alcohol which saved us even more money! When I read the previous bad reviews I was worried that the staff were rude and would steal cellphones but we had the opposite experience. The staff were all very nice during the event and even before the event when were there to taste the food. My mother-in-law left her purse at the table while we were cleaning and a waiter went straight to me to make sure that I knew about it and that it wasn't forgotten. Overall great experience. I had my quinceañera here. It was such a beautiful place with the most amazing people. Both managers or owners were the best, they had patience with us as well as with my mom. Helping us with a lot and helping us understand everything, since it was just my mother and i. The day off everything looked amazing, the food was GREAT. everyone loved it and enjoyed it. as far as the waiters go, they weren't the best. They kept taking snacks that myself and other guest couldn't even get. There was a sign that said closed but one of the waiters was the first to grad and she kept grabbing. The same waiter was also taking pictures of everything, which is fine if she's planning a party like this of her own but she is working. They had my mom everywhere that she didn't get to enjoy the even as much with me. As well as when the cake was being served they didn't ask people if they wanted cake, they just cut some pieces and handed it out to the closest tables and then ate the rest for theirselves. I had the pleasure of being able to have my wedding at the Mirage Ballroom this past weekend. The venue is absolutely breathtaking with the lighting and the chandeliers add such an elegance. The waiter staff was very prompt and not pushy to clean up throughout the night. We were well taken care of here and our guests left happy. Not having to stress the day of the wedding with stuff getting done is priceless. The food was delicious and the bartender they provided was very sweet with our guests. The owners are very easy to work with and readily available - which really helped relieve the stress that comes with planning a big party. The halls are beautifully designed and don't even need very much decorating to look amazing. Just had my niece's Quince at their Mirage Ballroom. The Hall looked amazing! We didn't even have to do much decorating, the hall is already beautiful. The service and staff were really friendly and professional. They catered the food, which was buffet style. We got to do a food tasting a month before our party, so we already knew the food was going to be good. I didnt get to eat much at the event (running around) but seemed like everyone liked the food. I lost my sunglasses here, I should give them only one star! lol Nah just kidding... my friend decided to host her wedding here and I had a lot of fun. They have a huge parking lot and it is fenced up so you don't have to worry about leaving your vehicles there. I love the fact that the bar is a separate room from the main hall, this way all the drunk people can lounge by the entrance while the rest of the guests can commingle and dance in the main hall. I am not sure if all the decorations and the food is arranged by the hall but regardless of that, the hall was nicely decorated and the food was pretty good. There were a few hiccups here and there but that's bound to happen at every reception. Their bathrooms were clean for the most part but I would suggest using a less potent air freshener... I would come out with a pounding headache and smelling like cherry everytime! read more

Food: I eat too much here. Great Afghan food but the only problem is you will eat a lot. I recommend both the Chicken and Beef kabaab. I love going to events here just for the food. :-) Facilities: Attend an event here and the 1st think notice when entering the mail are the Chandeliers. They are just awesome. The decorations in terms of fixtures and furniture are setup and the walls are even sculpted with scenery like trees and such. The owners are actually actively involved as they walk around talking to both staff and guests. Parking is pretty good but if it gets too packed there is also more parking across the small street. In fact the street over is shorter then going to the end of the big parking lot. Highly recommend. read more

I was involved in planning two events with Islamic Relief in these halls and both turned out to be amazing events. Even though we had a surplus of people, the olds at paradise palace helped with accommodations, provided additional chairs and food. The venue is obviously breathtaking!! The lighting phenomenal! The food delicious! Loved the service and will definitely work w/ them/ use their hall in the future. Great for events/ weddings or parties. Again, it's breathtaking and the folks are kind, helpful and just all around great. Have already recommended this hall to family and friends for their future weddings.
