Attended a wedding here on a Monday afternoon evening early July 2026 and it was amazing! The drive to the venue is beautiful, there were staff directing us where to park and how to get into the venue, even when it was hot. It is like within a winery, I didn't explore much outside but we were welcomed with a drink either a sangria or lemonade, people immediately wanted to go into the shade and there were places to sit, listen to the live music and sign and drop off gifts. Then cocktail hour started and the bartenders were great and friendly and the alcohol and drinks were really good. The hordouvres/appetizers were amazing!! I liked how they came out and served them and they kept on coming, I ate so much I was worried I was going to be to full for dinner. The bacon wrapped something, I think dates? And the fried chick peas, sandwiches, ceviche, everything was so good with our drinks! They then opened up the ballroom for us to take our seats, it was a sot down served meal and I chose the fish option. It came with a salad first that was huge and bread and then dinner was served efficiently, food was good! The bathrooms are located behind the stage but overall it's a big ballroom, for lots of space and activities like the Photo Booth and other vendors. Sound was good, decorations and staff were awesome, they also have a bridal room with a bathroom nearby for the wedding party and their stuff. We had a full Hindu wedding ceremony and reception at the Palm Event Center and had an excellent experience overall! We reserved our date quite in advance but had a lot of support in the planning. We first worked with Nicole during the initial planning process, and then things were handed off to our coordinator Makenna. She was excellent to work with when we had questions and changes as we got closer to our date. Palm was also very flexible with us viewing the venue with family in advance and scheduling a rehearsal the week of. Our coordinator Makenna was sick last minute so we worked with Melissa on the day of the wedding. Despite coming in last minute, she took great care of us and everything went smoothly! The ceremony package with wedding coordinator was a great value for how smoothly everything went. We definitely recommend working with preferred vendors whenever possible to make things even easier, as they have good relations with the venue and paperwork is easier. My husband and I just had our wedding at the Palm Event Center this month, and truly cannot say enough about how perfect it was! From start to finish, we truly felt so supported and guided throughout the entire wedding planning process. From the venue tour, to navigating contracts, to nailing down details and logistics (menu tasting, coordinating with vendors, etc.), to the actual day of the wedding - the Palm's team was so incredibly professional and efficient, while also being understanding and reassuring during such a stressful time. The Palm's team is clearly a well-oiled machine and executed the entire wedding day without a hitch. We have to give a special shout out to our venue coordinator, Melissa, who is absolutely exceptional! Her attention to detail, kindness, and ability to simply get things done smoothly is unmatched. Everyone knows how stressful wedding planning can be. But if you pick the right place then that stress level gets lower and the excitement level gets higher. For us, Palm Event Center was that place. They recently renovated so the event space is clean and modern. The venue is surrounded by beautiful palm trees and vineyard so that also gives you a lot of photo opportunities. On top of that the staff members are amazing. And another big perk is the food is actually really good. The entire process from initial tour to booking to menu tasting to planning meetings is really where Palm Event Center excels. The team, especially Nicole, is very responsive and communicates well, which made the planning process seamless and worry free. I've been to countless weddings where the food is mediocre at best. The food at Palm is comparable to "made to order" quality. Everything tasted fresh, the dishes were warm and delicious. You would not get the impression that these were mass produced. Our favorites were the Braised Short Ribs and Salmon. Our guests were so happy with the food. The professionalism of the staff also deserves a round of applause. Everything came out in a timely and orderly fashion. I don't think everything would've went this smoothly without the assistance of the Palm Event's coordinator Virginia Broce. The level of hospitality she provided was bar none. She really went above and beyond with setting up all our decor. We were truly blown away with the execution of the setup. The venue is absolutely stunning where the ceremony was outside with the beautiful vineyard in the background and then the reception indoors. The venue can probably handle up to 300 folks. The staff was friendly and attentive to the guests. Some of the features of the wedding were attended included a ramen bar, appetizer area, full bar, Photo Booth, and a churro bar for dessert. The dinner consisted of a large salad as well as a main dish. I had the beef short rib which was super tender and the flavor was perfect. Date: 10/15/2023 Time: 5:00 PM 79° Sunny Wow! Wow! Wow! I must say I am totally impressed that my brother and sister-in-law chose this venue for their son's wedding ceremony and reception. It was my first time here attending a wedding in the vineyards, and what a beautiful and elegant setting for this memorable occasion. My siblings and family showed much happiness and joy for my nephew and niece-in-law. What an honor to be there to witness the love between the bride and groom. I am just as proud of my brother and sister-in-law. After the ceremony, all wedding guests, including me, walked into the reception area to the music of the Gap band - "Outstanding (you make me want to shout)", and I did my thing, strut to the music and get ready to party hardy...hey, hey, hey, hey, hey!!! Let me see you get on the dance floor, baby! Ahh...the deejays never played JB's Gonna Have a Funky Good Time. That's my song! The appetizers were bomb-diggity excellent, especially the artichoke dip served with sliced French baguette and the taquitos with condiments. Hey, open bar. Then I'm not one to do much imbibing. Bartender was indeed accommodating. One Arnie Palmer with Tazo passion tea and lemonade, please. He did it up right. My Arnie Palmer was great that I went back to him for a second one. Dinner started with a salad of lettuce, thinly sliced apples, bleu cheese and glazed walnuts, drizzled with a vinaigrette dressing. I'm not a fan of iceberg lettuce and bleu cheese. The salad was okay. Presentation of the two entrees sure looked like eye candy. Pistachio- crusted cod seasoned with a lemon herb butter, farro and broccolini; Filet Mignon in a red wine demi and savory bread pudding. My cod was a tad dry and I could barely taste the lemon herb butter. The farro was tasty and quite a side to complement the cod. One of my cousins had the same entrée as I did. He asked the waiter for lemon wedges. Oh, no that waiter (blonde with a black goatee) didn't - brought him a whole lemon! Hilarious! All right, I will solve this funny moment. My bartender took care of business and hooked me up with a few lemon wedges. Yep, gave the young man a generous tip for helping a "sistah". I should have selected the beef entrée. The filet mignon was medium rare, tender and moist. Since my husband couldn't attend, I had a portion of his meal. The savory bread pudding was delicious. The bad part of not finishing the bread pudding was I ate too many appetizers, and as always, my eyes were bigger than my stomach. I am no longer a glutton for a whole lotta food. LOL Thanks to the professional employees whose main goal was to aim to please. Yes, indeed they did a fine job in taking care of the wedding guests, serving the appetizers, beverages, meals and the music. My husband and I got married here last month on October 6th, and I am SO happy with how Palm and its staff carried out our wedding. For table decor, we gave zero instructions on how we wanted them to look but they made it look so beautiful. We had Kelsea as our coordinator and she made sure everything ran so smoothly on our wedding day and was very informative about what we needed to prepare. It was an absolute pleasure to work with her. She's kind, prepared, and so SO understanding of every issue we brought up. It is a bit pricey to have a wedding here but it's worth it! I was so stressed because not everything can go right the day of the wedding but none of that mattered once the day came. Kelsea and the Palm staff had everything ready for us so we didn't need to be concerned at all. All our guests told us they had a blast and loved the service and hospitality that Palm provided. First, my apologies for the delay in posting this review. Our daughter's wedding was held February 14, 2025, Valentine's Day. BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front): In general, there is nothing cheap/inexpensive about holding a wedding in a dedicated venue location. You must just knuckle down, push through and sign the checks! The Palm Event Center is not the most expensive venue in the area but I am a true believer in "you get what you pay for". Everything about the wedding was top notch! From the rehearsal dinner to the last dance...it could not have gone any better. Amanda, our wedding coordinator, was outstanding in every way. She provided excellent suggestions during the rehearsal and took care of every aspect of the wedding with expert precision. All guests commented on how beautiful the place was and how everything was absolutely perfect! When you attend events, such as this, the little things really make the difference. For example, the bartenders were gracious, friendly and funny. Sometimes when you're at a large party, the bartenders can be stiff and act put out. Not these gents! They provided excellent service and we greatly appreciate it! The appetizers! The guests raved about how tasty everything was and what an amazing assortment. The entrees were all gourmet quality in appearance and flavor. I don't think I have tasted better short ribs at a five star restaurant. My compliments to the chef. We selected photographer, DJ, florist, and Photo Booth based upon recommendation by the venue. All received 10 out of 10 in our rating. There is a tremendous amount of stress leading up to a wedding you spent a year in preparing. When you use a place like the Palm Event Center, so much of the stress is taken away by their professionalism, courtesy and attention to detail. The review is coming from a wedding guest pov. I was invited to attend a wedding this past weekend at this venue. The venue is beautiful and food was amazing. Only thing I didn't like was walking on the dirt road in heels from the overflow parking. Overall it's a cute wedding venue. The ceremony was outside and quick. Cocktail hour was about an hour and half. Then we proceeded inside the venue for the reception. It was an open bar and the food was a two course meal. Tomato soup and salmon and beef for our mains. I must say the salmon was really good and came with a tomato base risotto. The beef was tender and huge. The couple also has a hot chocolate and churro bar after cake and cookies. The staff was friendly and bussed tables quick as the could with the guestlist looking about 250 to 300 guests. Not sure if they have an all inclusive package here so I can't review DJ and cake. read more

My wedding at Palm was perfection! Amanda, my day off coordinator, is literally superwoman. She made sure every single thing was in place and exactly how I wanted it. Anything I discussed with her, was taken care of. This space provides EVERYTHING (food, chairs, tables, linen, dessert) and that takes a huge weight of an already stressful time. They also have preferred vendors that make it easy to pick out your DJ, florist,ect. My wedding at the Palm Event Center was truly a dream come true! From start to finish, our experience with Beets Hospitality was wonderful! Starting with touring the grounds with Tammy to the lovely menu tasting and meeting Kelsea and eventually to the big day! My husband and I left every interaction and meeting feeling reassured, heard, and inspired! It was so easy to talk to Kelsea and the team when planning our wedding. Every part of the process was so easy. The location is beautiful with wonderful staff and thoughtful menu. There are decorations throughout the property with lots of photo spots available. I booked my wedding at the Palm Event Center so we had lots of options and flexibility in planning the big day. You could have your ceremony outside against the vineyards or inside the estate room. I chose not to have any large installations and even plain, it was a gorgeous reception. Our wedding was in late September and the vineyards were lush and bright green that was a beautiful day. We didn't have the be concerned about rain however we did consider the fact that we might could have our ceremony in the estate room which we both love the idea. There are many things that I just didn't have to worry about with such a wonderful team supporting our wedding. My husband and I worked closely with Kelsea throughout the planning process for the wedding the rehearsal and eventually the wedding day and she was stellar. My husband and I are quite busy but Kelsey made it so easy to work with her and she would accommodate our schedules. She sent us reminders and then gave us suggestions and ideas. I cannot express my thanks enough for how wonderful truly wonderful staff are. When we got to the wedding day, I was a bundle of nerves with far too many thoughts in my head, and no matter where I turned, I was instantly reassured by all the kind and dependable people there. When I first walked into the hall, I was completely stunned - it was immaculate, not a thing out of place. That's thanks to the wonderful attention to detail by everyone. I can confidently say that not one of my guests went home hungry. Every bit of food was delicious! Top to bottom: from the hors d'oeuvres, drinks, courses, entrees, and desserts, everything was served fresh and tasty. To me, eating together is one of the purest forms of love and it was very important to me that was reflected in our wedding. Not to mention our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious! I want to call out some other staff who were such dears such as Anya, Aiden, and Ruby. Anya was a great person to talk to and relax and recenter myself before I walked down the aisle. She was such a friendly person to talk with right as I was a bundle of nerves, she was a very reassuring presence by my side. Ruby and Aiden were in charge of the beverage and refreshment cart for my husband and I. They were so considerate and thoughtful throughout the hour when we were taking photos. They always had something ready for us right as we needed it timing was wonderful since they would deliver us refreshments and snacks between groups of photos. It was almost funny in a way back at it. My husband and I enjoyed the service of the staff so much that we took the cutest group photo at the Photo Booth with them. The most beautiful venue to have your wedding or host a company event/dinner! Our company have had our annual Christmas party here a few times and everyone loves it! The venue layout with the barrel room is just beautiful! The staffs are also great! The food?? Even better! And let's not forget about their sangria!! We definitely recommend this space for your wedding (or any other event they accept there). It is easy to find & navigate. The grounds are beautiful. And they do an excellent job at bringing together as much of an inclusive package as possible. I don't know the exact numbers, but in general ALL wedding expenses are excessively inflated. So keeping that in mind, when we did our venue research, The Palms offered the most bang for your buck. Some of the things/services I liked most were their: "Open house" for tasting & experiencing their services & offerings, complimentary tasting menu of dinner for couples prior to the big day (also complimentary) site decor & ambiance versatility of space snacking bar on the day of for both wedding parties menu & food is some of the best if not the best wedding food I've ever had! Creative & unique selections/options to customize your wedding (we added the flambé donuts with ice cream bar) Of course no wedding goes perfectly (so they say), and ours was no exception. For some reason, the serving staff didn't replenish the cake for our guests so we were left with tons of leftovers & reports from our guests that they never got any cake... And logistically, although there's months of communication & stings of emails, on the day of our wedding, for some reason the planner didn't use our seating chart we'd sent to her, and the way our wedding party ended up seated was not ideal or as fun as we would've liked. The good: I've had many friends get married here and I can see why. The in-house menu was divine. I loved how they had flowers in the fish and salad. The food was exceptional and very high quality. The plating was beautiful and high-end. The croutons in the leek potato soup was super crunchy. The bread pudding in the beef dish was unique and tasty. The beef was tender and moist. Cocktail hour had a great array of appetizers that included liver mousse, poke bites, hummus, shrimp cocktail shooters and bruschetta. The service from waiters was attentive and smooth. The space is extremely spacious and good for large weddings. The cocktail hour barrel room doubles as a ceremony spot if weather doesn't permit an outdoor ceremony. The ceilings are vaulted and there are nice outdoor lounge spots. Everything was level so it isn't too difficult for handicap guests to move around. The bad: No one instructed us on how to enter the building for the cocktail room. It seems like we should've entered from the outdoor ceremony space but instead we had to go around the building as to not see the reveal for the main reception. It'd make more sense for there to be dividers and allow guests to enter from the ceremony area so it is more direct. Same goes for the bathroom. Guests had trouble finding it when entering from before the ceremony and we weren't allowed to go into the reception space. But if we went around to the other side then we risked seeing the bride and groom line up for their ceremony. The interesting: There was too much cocktail sauce for the shrimp cocktail. I didn't want to waste the cocktail sauce but the vessel was deep and full of cocktail sauce for only a single shrimp. read more

I've been a guest at this wedding venue twice. The venue was perfectly nice even 5 years later, if not, even better. It's beautifully kept, clean, spacious. I had no trouble finding parking. We had our wedding here last month and it was so fantastic! Haley was our coordinator and she made sure everything was taken care of leading up to the wedding and everything went smoothly on the day. The staff was super professional food and drink service was great- guests told us it was some of the best wedding food they'd ever had. We even had wait staff following us around as we took some sunset photos after the ceremony with snacks and cocktails- such a thoughtful touch. The venue itself was beautiful so we didn't have to spend a ton of money on other decorations. We worked exclusively with their preferred vendors and all of them were amazing! Look good. Couple things: Palm Event Center Review My wife, Susan, and I originally planned our wedding ceremony and reception for over 300 guests. We were looking forward to celebrating with all of our family and friends. Unfortunately, COVID-19 came and put a damper on our wedding, as well as everyone else's weddings/graduations, etc. We were devastated and saddened when we realized that our original plans would not be able to occur. I know that everyone else who had planned their weddings for this year were all feeling the same sadness that we were. Susan and I did not want to give up and we were determined to get married on 8/1/20 because it has significant meaning for our family of "8" becoming "1". We knew we were limited to 25 guests which basically covered our immediate family.  Of course we wanted more people to attend, but knew that it was impossible during this COVID-19 pandemic. We met with Casey who was awesome. Casey made us feel welcomed and walked us through our ceremony. Casey made sure we all knew what the timeline was going to be. Casey took care of also coordinating with our vendors for the flowers, soloist and camera/videographer. The day of our ceremony was seamless. The weather was gorgeous and the set up of the event was practical to stay within the COVID-19 guidelines.  Casey and her staff did an excellent job in preparing the ceremony area. Casey also had a bride's room to relax in prior to the ceremony.  Casey also had a groom's area that was secluded while I waited for the ceremony. Each room with complimentary champagne which tasted delicious. The Palm Even Center was everything we expected it to be, but just on a smaller scale of guests. The winery was beautiful for our backdrop as Susan and I exchanged our vows to become husband and wife. I want to thank The Palm Event Center for their professionalism and guidance to make our wedding a memorable event. If you plan to have your wedding, you can't go wrong with The Palm Event Center. Beautiful venue! Our company held an evening event here over the weekend. Where do I even begin? It was my first time at this venue and it is beautiful! The drive to the winery was nice with the entryway lined with tall, majestic palm trees. We occupied the Estate Room and the Ballroom. The Estate Room had two massive redwood doors with wine barrels that lined up the room. The ceiling was adorned with overhead glowing wrought-iron chandeliers. Elegant and classy. We had cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the Estate Room. It served as a reception area as other guests were still trying to make it in. We then made our way to the Ballroom for our dinner which is in the same building. The room featured Italian tile floors and giant window doors that opened up to the vineyards. This would be beautiful to see in the daytime. Our event was in the evening so I couldn't really get a full view of the outside. The bar was in one corner of the room. I wasn't sure how many guests attended in our party but the Ballroom can hold 300 guests. There was plenty of room for the DJ, a photo booth, a dessert bar and a nice size dance floor. Both the Estate Room and the Ballroom had a bar which featured a full bar with spirits, beer, wine and custom cocktails. Open bar for us that evening! The staff was wonderful too. If my daughter had not yet chosen a venue for her wedding I would immediately suggest The Palm. This would be a lovely venue for a wedding... you would fall in love with the aesthetics and vibes. We had our dream wedding at Palm Event on a warm, golden evening in October. The grape leaves were still green and the rose bushes were in full bloom! After finding this venue, we realized later that Palm Event Center is one of the highest rated wedding venues on Yelp (via Daily Meal). Don't do anymore research if you're looking for an organized, beautiful, breath-taking venue. We booked our wedding on a Thursday evening and from the day we put down our deposit, we were treated like royalty. Our coordinator, Genevieve, (shout-out to the most amazing person and best coordinator in the world!!), was organized, friendly, funny, kind and relatable. We met on Zoom for our check-ins, so no need to travel to Pleasanton. Then we had our FABULOUS food and wine tasting at the venue. Let me just say - all our our guests RAVED about their dishes on the day of the wedding. They couldn't say enough of how delicious, fresh, and wonderful their meal was. Then we treated our guests with a late night snack - pizza! It was truly perfect. Palm Event offers open bar, with a full well. We also designed signature cocktails and brought cases of Red Bull for our guests. Whenever we had questions, the team responded within 24 hours and were flexible about decor and desserts. All vendors have to provide insurance and we also bought couple's wedding insurance for the day of. Our rehearsal went without any hitches and Genevieve adjusted quickly and thoughtfully! She honestly made our day so enjoyable and stress-free. On the day of the wedding, there were some details that I wanted to change last minute with the decor and the team quickly adjusted to make our day perfect. I cannot recommend their team and kitchen staff enough! The best moments of our experience were high-quality service from the staff, beautifully maintained venue and winery (I mean the palm tree entrance itself is WOW), and the amazing food and drinks! This place is Off The Hook !!! Recently my Cousin had her Daughters Wedding , Cocktail Hour And Reception there. The day of the Wedding was Beautiful and it was a Outdoor Wedding. The Event Center Grounds are Beautiful and nicely Groomed!! Picture perfect. The Wedding was nicely Staged and Carried out. The Happy Hour was in a Reserve Room with an Open Bar And Bar Snacks - Deviled Eggs , Bacon Wrapped Cocktail Sausages And other Snacks Beautiful!!! The Banquet Room was very impressive The tables were named after Different Country's And a Seating chart was. Diagramed in a big poster to show where you're sitting for Dinner . Nicely Done. The Tables were set with a very Elegant look and Beautiful Custom Balloon Center Pieces with a Beautiful floral arrangement. There was a Nice Dance Floor with a DJ playing Old School Love Hip Hop !!! Also another Open Bar !!! Dinner was Served By the Palm Event Center Catering Staff and Prepared And Cooked by their Event Kitchen And Staff. We were served BBQ Tri Tip or Baked Halibut. I'm a Baller so I had both!!! They were very tasty!!! They also had a S'mores Bar outside on their Scenic Patio. It was Self serve and a nice way to cap the Evening off. When my now-husband and I were looking at venues, we knew we were going to get married at the Palm Event Center as soon as we made our way up the long palm tree-lined drive. The food was the key element for our wedding, and our guests raved at the presentation and service. Likewise, the venue was simply perfect: the barrel room where we had our ceremony truly felt like romance in the vineyard, and dance floor / ballroom set up was straightforward and easy for guests to navigate. Our day-of event coordinator, Vanessa, did her best to keep us on schedule despite the impromptu photo sessions that came up from our photographer. We had our wedding at the Palm Event Center and it was the perfect decision after carefully vetting through 15+ venues around the bay area. During the entire process of finalizing our venue option, it was clear that Palm Event Center was the one. Our decision process was based on the following: 1. Pricing vs. what is offered at the venues 2. Catering options 3. Flexibility and customization Considering the pricing, think of it as a one stop shop and you don't have to worry or think too far about anything else. It probably took away most of our stress and headache for wedding planning. The open bar was a hit! Catering options made it easy for us to consider what our families would enjoy. Whether its in-house catering or the preferred vendor options, there was a wide range to consider. We ended up choosing Le's Kitchen, which was a preferred vendor and we didn't have to do much other than confirm the menu with the vendor. The connection between the preferred vendor and venue was seamless. Planning a perfect wedding is not possible but the flexibility and customization from Palm was top notch. Palm Event Center did an amazing job providing us everything we needed to make our wedding special! We began working with them so far in advance, but their team was accommodating and patient. In the 6 months leading up, we worked closely with Casey. Casey was absolutely amazing. She navigated our big group and many opinions with grace, and she made the day of the wedding feel smooth and calm. The food and service the day of the wedding was amazing. Michael and I will forever be grateful for the ladies at The Palm Event Center. We got married not only in the middle of the summer (July) -- but also in the middle of a pandemic!! LOL! We didn't cancel, we chose to do an intimate ceremony only, and postponed our reception at a later date. And what made this day even more special is that we were their first wedding ceremony since the Shelter-in-Place mandate. Love truly overcomes ALL! Palm Event Center is the most beautiful venue for a wedding and the most amazing coordinators to work with! The moment we saw the wine barrels along the wall we knew that this was our venue of choice. The new renovations to the reception hall made the venue pop even more. It gave so much light to the place and the new candle wall was such a good background for our sweetheart table. The outside grounds were beautiful and makes for a great photo location. All the food options were incredible and delicious. All the guests raved about how amazing the food tasted and they could not get enough of it. August was such a blast to work with. She was so organized, and her meetings always relieved our stress. Every request we had always came with quick follow-up responses. She was so accommodating throughout the whole planning process. We kept going back and forth if we wanted to do the ceremony indoors/outdoors and she assured us that whatever vision we had they will make it happen. And they did! On the day of the wedding, August was so on point coordinating all the vendors. She worked so well with getting everyone organized. Our timeline went perfectly. She even surprised us with a cute little station for our Corgi dog! I would not hesitate to recommend Palm Event Center for your wedding venue with their top-notch coordinators and experts. The Palm is such a beautiful venue! We recently had our reception here and everything from our initial email to the venue to planning meetings, and the event itself was perfect! Nicole and Amanda were so amazing to work with and helped guide us through the entire planning process. Wedding on 10/22/23 and it could not have gone better. There was a bit of rain earlier in the day and the staff at Palm were extremely accommodating about moving our setup inside. The new renovations make the place look amazing and the food was excellent; I would especially recommend the braised short ribs. Overall a great place to host a wedding of between 100-200 people. read more

My wife and I got married here and the staff and venue are amazing. Tammy, Alyssa, and Nicole are all great and very organized and we had a beautiful outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception. The wedding was on time and the guests were kept comfortable despite the hot day. The one constructive comment I will leave is we had a very difficult time working with the exclusive subcontractor Fantasy Sounds, particularly for outdoor draping. The communication was well below what one would expect and there was no ability to control aspects of the the draping before hand. tl;dr The Palm is a popular venue for good reason, and while it may be a little pricey, we thought it was well worth it and felt well taken care of for our wedding. We would highly recommend it to any people looking to get married here! My wife and I got engaged in December 2020 in the thick of the COVID pandemic and began looking for a venue in March 2021. We saw that the Palm Event Center (and its sister site, Casa Real), were very popular amongst wedding sites and decided to give it a try. The team was very responsive and we were able to book a tour relatively quickly. The tour was fantastic and it seemed that they really knew what they were doing. Because many weddings were delayed, there was very little availability, and so we had to pull the trigger on a date nearly 12 months in advance. Once we reserved the date, it was fairly smooth sailing from there. The team was very responsive and helpful in guiding us to what we needed to do. In fact, they even helped push one of our vendors when we felt like we weren't getting the right communication and support required to move forward. One great thing that is included with the package is a "day-of" wedding coordinator. Tammy Cheng was assigned to us and worked with us for several weeks before our actual wedding day. She helped get us the right information and guided a lot of our planning to make sure that we were prepared for the day. Tammy ran the rehearsal, which was the day before our wedding, and both ourselves and our pastor was so impressed. She took charge and explained exactly what we needed to do, how to do it, and when we needed to do it. The rehearsal was incredibly quick and efficient, and we felt very well prepared for the big day. Finally, on wedding day, we couldn't have asked for a better coordinator. She had everything out exactly as we wanted it, and was able to corral all of our guests for the various changes in the day (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, extras, etc). We felt no stress during our entire day and were able to enjoy our wedding. One downside about this venue as a whole is that it is a little pricey, and there are certain vendors that are required. They have some pretty aggressive minimums for the weekend, with Saturday being the highest price. We opted to have our wedding on Sunday, and so while we did have some lower minimums, we found that many of our guests had to leave early for school/work/travel. Regardless, we would still highly recommend the Palm and Tammy Cheng to any new couples looking to get married here! read more

A little over a month later, my husband and I are still talking about our wedding day! It was absolutely beautiful in every way, and we owe a lot of it to the Palm Event Center. The venue is so gorgeous with the tall palm trees lining the entrance and the wine barrels in the reception hall. Even though the grapes weren't in season when we got married, it is still such a gorgeous venue and extremely picturesque. Our day-of-coordinator, Jasmyn, is THE BEST and we are both so happy that she was a part of our day. She was so sweet and helpful! And honestly, even though I knew there were some things that didn't go super perfectly in terms of my own personal stress on the details, I felt reassured and relaxed overall knowing that I had her help along with friendly and accommodating waiting staff and bartenders. The food was great, the ambience was superb. We have no complaints at all about how everything went. After consideration of many wedding venues in the Bay Area, my partner and I are very pleased with our choice of the Palm Event Center with its wonderful staff! We wanted a venue that was beautiful, accessible to our family living in the area, spacious, and could package in more support so we wouldn't have to worry too much or have to hire a wedding coordinator. The Palm Event Center delivered in all accounts above. They are a very experienced group when it comes to weddings and have their process well-templated to support couples from the beginning when viewing venues all the way through the big day. We were very pleased to have been able to work with Tammy Cheng as our coordinator, who may have been one of the only Asian American venue coordinators on their team. Tammy guided us through the planning process in great detail and we also felt very understood and supported by her given her awareness of our cultural needs of having a mixed Western/Chinese/Taiwanese/Christian wedding ceremony and reception. We will miss her so much! The team was always very responsive and communicative via email, phone call, and in-person visits. While the package can be pricey (it includes open bar, catering, venue rental, etc.), we thought it was fair considering the amount of care and experience they put into their wedding experience and we don't regret our decision at all. The venue itself is a very large and spacious one and has a number of venues that they work closely with, including Fantasy Sounds, which provides epic lighting and drapery. Given how big the ballroom is, there is a lot of space and creativity that can go into the decorations. All of our guests were wowed by the venue space and we got many compliments about the venue's food and drinks (e.g. "we were full from just the appetizers alone because it was so delicious," "I tried all their featured cocktails - they're so good"). During the tasting, all of the pork options were disappointing unfortunately, but the salmon and beef short-rib that we chose for the event were highly praised by us and our guests. We also did not find any of the cakes during the tasting to be very good either, but that could be because I grew up with Chinese sponge, fruit cakes. Some things to consider - the bridal suite/getting ready room for the women is rather small and isn't as pretty or spacious as the Casa Real's. Our photographer said it was too small to get any good shots in there, so it was a good thing we planned for most of our getting-ready photos at the Airbnb nearby. The "getting ready room" for the groomsmen isn't so much of a room, but rather the lounge corner of the ballroom. I highly recommend the Palm Event Center if you are looking for a large venue in which you want to put in more decorations for a beautiful wedding, want extra wedding planning support from a knowledgeable team and a venue that can offer more in their package including in-house catering, and need a large space to account for a larger guest count (100-300). If you are looking to cut down costs, it'll be hard to do here. We were very impressed by the Palm Event Center and are so happy that this was our venue! read more
