We had dinner nearby and came here for some hookah and Moroccan tea. I love Moroccan mint tea and their tea was pretty good! The hookah was great too. I tried mint flavor. We had the place to ourselves and just relaxed here and talked. The service was very good too. The place is nice, cozy and small. Not too big but it's enough to just chill at any evening. I don't have hookah often but occasionally it's nice to hang out and enjoy it. They have many different flavors of hookah available. I didn't check their menu but just had tea with the hookah. We will return here again once we are back in town. Their mint tea is special because they put real mint in there and you can taste it if you are into that kind of tea! The plaza is not very big either and you can easily miss this place but you should try it if you like hookah. Hookah is fun with friends or family. They use good quality coals so the hookah lasts awhile. The owner lets you play any music you like by connecting with the free Wi-Fi. I think that's a really nice touch to be able to play any music you want! So we ended up playing some Bollywood music while enjoying our hookah. Overall it was a fun experience! Here are some pics of the tea and the place for you to check out next time you are in the area.

This is a new spot, and they're in the midst of a soft opening. Their sign isn't even up yet, and I had to add them here on Yelp too. However, we heard buzz about them on some of the Clermont pages in Facebook and decided to stop in on a random Saturday. The shop is super cozy with plenty of comfy ouches and tables plus bar seating, so no worries about finding space (yet). They have a great setup with tons of TVs and music while you smoke; this is a great spot for groups or a solo adventure. And their selection of hookah flavors is really strong all with a reasonable price. We tried Love66, which was just delightful. The best thing? Their staff is awesome. They were attentive without being intrusive and offered tons of suggestions. They were prompt with offers of drinks and refills--and also filled us in on some of the history of how they ended up opening a hookah bar. Just all around a wonderful experience! One note: If you want a full bar, they are not there yet. However, they had plenty of beer, seltzer and generic drink options to pick while you enjoy your hookah. Not a big deal for us, but it would be really nice to enjoy an old fashioned or mule with your smoke. We will definitely be back and look forward to visiting again!

That's when we came across Sauvage, a Polynesian craft bar & kitchen located in the heart of Winter Haven. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was right--vibrant, tropical, trendy, and fun. And then we spotted two retro arcade games--Mortal Kombat II and Street Fighter Turbo--that guests can play while waiting for their food. Talk about nostalgia! That definitely took us back to our childhoods. Okay, okay... I'm showing our age. Let's get back to the food! The Brunch Sauvage's menu combines Polynesian-inspired cuisine with American favorites and creative twists, which immediately caught our attention. We decided to share two entrées: Duck Confit Benedict Duck confit served over crispy hash browns, topped with poached eggs, hollandaise, and chives. Brunch Scallion Pancake A savory scallion pancake topped with scrambled eggs, cheese, millionaire bacon, island sauce, and sweet Thai chili, served with a side of grits. Both dishes were different, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I especially loved that each entrée came served in its own personalized cast-iron skillet. It made the presentation feel rustic and unique while keeping everything warm. And the portions were perfectly sized for brunch--satisfying without being overwhelmingly heavy. And Then There Was the Cocktail... We couldn't visit a Polynesian craft bar without trying one of their creative cocktails! We went with the Mango Sticky Rice Milk Punch -- made with coconut-washed brandy, mango soju, five-spice, and vanilla. This cocktail was cool, light, fruity, and refreshing, with just enough of that tropical flavor to make it feel like the perfect summer brunch drink. Honestly, I really enjoyed it! Sauvage was such a fun find for our Sunday brunch. Between the tropical atmosphere, creative Polynesian-American menu, unique cocktails, nostalgic arcade games, and beautifully presented food, it was definitely more than just your typical brunch spot. Everything we ordered was flavorful, well-portioned, and thoughtfully presented. And the fact that we discovered it while celebrating a 50th birthday weekend made the experience even better. Would I come back? Absolutely! Next time we're in Winter Haven, we're skipping brunch and coming back for dinner. I'm definitely curious to see what Sauvage is doing with their dinner menu. Sauvage gets a "we'll definitely be back" from us!

Jen was amazing and was on top of making sure we ordered the best food. Top tier service. I'm definitely coming back!
