Then they gave her back the car just for it to break down two hours later, so she called them back turns out it was the timing chain they said they would bring the car back into the shop and repair that for another fee. If they were a reputable shop, they would've known right away. It was the timing chain, or offered her a refund, instead they offered to fix it for more money. they are con artists just trying to make extra money. I wouldn't bring your car there. They'll just con you out of money too!

Well it kept overheating and then they looked at it again and said the same thing. It was still overheating and I brought it in again and then they said it was the head gasket. They wouldn't do anything for me and I overpaid for the car. I ended up spending over $1800 to get it fixed. I haven't put many miles on it since because I was gone for almost two months and now I have a maintenance light on again. I know not to buy a vehicle from them again. They sell a car for well over the book value and then it has too many problems. They also said they help improve credit and report to credit bureaus. I still haven't had a report to the credit bureau show up. I'm pretty disappointed.

They installed a new one 3 weeks ago and I'm leaking more coolant than I was before! They told me to bring it back in.... yeah right!

The adjusters ( 2 of them) dropped the ball at least twice adding weeks to the repair time. The owner does seems to care and realizes that they have some staffing concerns. In summary, the repair looks great however the customer service part is awful. I should have listened to the other reviews with the same concern. I will not repeat and can not recommend this repair shop unless they do a complete 180 on servicing their customers.

Flash forward: I'm 25, graduated, married, bought a house, with the same car. What stayed the same? United Automotive coming in clutch every time I needed them. The first time I had to bring my car in for an oil change, I almost cried because I was so worried about being guilted into unnecessary maintenance. I decided to bring it to United because it was close to me - a decision that would change my life forever. I had experience with auto shops attempting to milk me for all I was worth (which was literally nothing) for things like battery replacement, lightbulbs, etc because I went in alone, as a young woman, knowing jack about car repairs. I hated it. United took my car, had the oil changed in less than 12 hours, charged me $35, and APOLOGIZED for the "long wait". On my receipt they quoted me prices for three items of maintenance that weren't necessary but I could get in the future if I wanted. The tech explained to me thoroughly all the items and said none of them were necessary, but I could always come back and get them done later if I wanted. And then checked me out. It took a grand total of 5 minutes. I sent the receipt to my dad and he said that was the cheapest oil change I would ever find. This would begin my history with United and my healing journey with car repairs. Along the way I would get regular oil changes, a replacement oil tank cap within 24 hrs, a couple issues my brain fabricated because I was nervous but still got checked out, brake pad replacement, and a few other things I can't remember. Each time I got an apology for the "long wait" (nothing was more than 24hrs), quotes for 3-5 long-term maintenance items to keep an eye on, and the most reasonable prices I would be able to find short of my dad doing it for me (this last part from my dad, who lives 4hrs away).
