The guys on the roof would take photos and send them to the office, and then the office was telling me what was going on while I was working. So, I was informed in advance that the cooler jacks needed to be replaced for an extra $1,000. Then I was told that some trusses were broken and some plywood was rotted. I was sent a photo. But the photo did not show there were 13 broken trusses. The photo also makes it look like there's maybe six pieces of plywood that need replacement. The rest looks fine. Then I was told they replaced 24 sheets of plywood. Does the photo below look like 24 sheets need to be replaced? So, my cost went up another $4,000 and I wasn't given an adequate heads up, only the final bill. They also ignored my request to give some recommendation about the insulation. So, I was in shock at the ending cost of the job. There was a lot of rushing and a lack of respect for making sure they did what I wanted, and, they didn't listen. They also ignored my request to have a fixture installed so in future I could put in a wood stove. I feel in the end they did a good job and the crew worked hard. But the ending bill was a SHOCK and I didn't get satisfaction around a couple of things that I wanted.

They did an excellent job, and the gates are of very good quality! It matches my other 2 double gates on the South side that are 24 years old also installed by Jerry. Jerry also adjusted my older gates since time has made them sag a bit. Jerry just wanted a happy customer and didn't expect payment for the adjustments. I insisted on at least rounding up my price. I recently had my safe fail on me. It wouldn't open, no matter what I tired. I called every…read morelocksmith in my area, and the surrounding areas (that were willing to travel to the middle of the desert lol). They either suggested Greg Perry, or they said they didn't work on safes. So I called him, and set up an appointment. He was here the next day, and gave me a very charitable quote on the opening and repair of my safe. Once he was able to get his scope into the safe and take a look. It had much bigger issues than anticipated. Something to do with the cogs in the locking mechanism that moves the bars. It had broken, making it nearly impossible for repair. His 1 hour job, turned into 3 days. He had to take the 800lbs+ safe to his shop for repair. A few days later, he called me and requested I open the safe and remove the items so that he could continue the repair. He did not so much as even look into the contents of the safe before continuing. I appreciate a man that respects me and my privacy. I did as he asked, and removed my stuff. To which he gave me privacy in his shop to do so. Everything was accounted for, and nothing seemed to be touched at all. The next day he called me to inform me he would be delivering it back to my home! When I got the bill, I expected a price that would give me a heart attack. I mean come on, the man worked on it for 5 days, removed the heavy thing, and returned it to me. To my surprise, the quote was exactly what he originally quoted me. A man true to his word. I couldn't stand to let a man with that kind of integrity, not be paid what he deserved. So I asked "if you were to come across this safe with this issue again, would you charge the same amount?" his response was a chuckle and a strong "no, it would be about 3x that amount, but I stand on my quotes." So I tipped him the remaining amount for the work he completed, and the money he deserved. I will use Greg or his son in law (apprentice) for ANY locksmithing needs in the future. This was the first and last time using this company. They used improper cleaning tools on our…read moremicrowave, permanently scratching the touch pad. They also did not clean the baseboards as requested (which she acknowledged the mistake at first then backtracked and said they did). One of the cleaners asked to use our already cleaned microwave to heat up their lunch they brought. After all that we were still charged full price. Owner gave us some options: $100 off, a two hour cleaning or her handyman to replace the touchpad to make it right, but then proceeded with charging us full price after one day (during which we were still pricing out repair options and deciding what to do about fixing the microwave). The payment was very high ($780 for 3 hours and 40 minutes of cleaning) compared to other cleaners in town, so we thought it would be excellent service. Unfortunately, we were wrong.
