We (Warwick Auto Transport LLC) transported a motorcycle for Speedy Motorsports LLC from TX to MD…read more Throughout the 1400mi trip, whenever SM wanted an update I would text them back giving them an ETA. Since we have a step deck, obviously we were not going to travel the 1400mi trip only with his bike that was paying less than $.40 a mile (no great transportation company would ever do that). Throughout the trip we loaded and offloaded in different states in order to pay our way back to MD. His bike (even though it was inop/severly damaged) was moved around our trailer a couple of times in order to rearrange the loads we kept loading. His bike was taken care like we always do with all the loads. He kept complaining of why his bike was not there when we first gave him an ETA. I kept updating him about updated ETAs but obviously ETAs kept moving because we are not on this transportation business to loose money (when our diesel alone from TX to MD is around $1,300, we have to do what we have to with making sure our trailer has a full load to travel all those miles). When we got to the del loc, SM offloaded the bike and they scratched their truck doing so. Mad at us for arriving "late" (according to him) and his truck scratched he tried to give my driver less than what we signed the contract for. This is the way this company does business. Not a good company.

I've been to the service department here twice and it is definitely not on par with the service I…read morehave experienced at other Toyota dealerships. First, it's just chaotic. Both times I have pulled my car into the service area and haven't been immediately connected with a service advisor. It's a long wait just to check into your appointment. They do have a spacious seating/work area which is nice because you're going to need it--when I was actually seen for my routine service check during my first visit I was there for at least half a day. In addition they have a system where they text you when your car is ready and tell you to see your service advisor for pick up, but when I got the text my service advisor had gone to lunch and it took me awhile to find anyone willing to just check me out. Second, I have some concerns about the quality of their work. When I came in for my routine service they said they changed the cabin filter and provided an air vent cleaning. Fast forward a month and the car smells terrible when I turn on the ventilation system--like mildew and urine. I made an appointment to get it checked out and when I arrived they basically told me I would have to leave my car for two days (a full weekend) to get any sort of diagnostic. For a mildew smell this sounded a little excessive, especially given that I made an appointment and this is a follow up on a service they just did. So, not only am I questioning the quality of the work they did a month ago, but now I've wasted time driving to the dealership to be told I can't even get any diagnostic service at my appointment time. I didn't necessarily expect a full fix immediately, but at the very least it would have been great to get some sense of what's going on, especially given that I was just there a month ago. I've gone to some really good service shops that would have taken a look right away because they would have felt badly that I had to bring my car in so soon after just being there, but definitely not this place. The great thing about this area is choice--tons of mechanics to choose from. So, I can't really think of a reason to come back here.

(When I have done comparisons for repairs, he's always lower than others.) What a life saver to have a trusted mechanic--one less hassle in life! I just saw there aren't many reviews here, so I'm risking sharing our well-kept secret. But N&M deserves the good word of mouth. One time when a dealer had told me I needed, like, 8 repairs done I took the list to N&M and he told me that I really only needed 3, some others could wait, and the rest were things that were totally fine. Imagine a garage that is so honest it 'downsells' itself! My colleagues have had the same type experience.

Wow am I happy I did. The owner was the first person I spoke to. He and Lucas, his co-mechanic, came right out and took a look at the exhaust manifold. They thought that it could be fixed without all the labor of taking the piece out which would cut down the price HUGELY. Nader, the owner, said he would make a few calls about parts and give me an estimate. He did and came up with an estimate of OVER $250 less than the other guys. I was understandably skeptical so I took some time to think about it but in the end just came to the conclusion that it didnt seem that they weren't trying to rio me off and just wanted a new customer. I dropped off the car and came to pick it up a day later...here is where the story gets weird. I showed up and Nader said "it'll be $483" I was pleasantly surprised that he stuck to the inexpensive estimate. But he said that he looked at the rear brakes and they needed replacing too. Here is where I thought the big scam was coming. BUT he said he already replaced them and showed me the old ones which actually were really worn down. He also said that he wanted to keep to his estimate so was still charging me 480 even though he replaced the back breaks which were not even included in the individual estimate. He said that I could repay him for this by coming back and telling my friends that this was a honest, competent and reasonably priced repair shop. So Yelp friends, here is part of me paying him back: I am telling you....go here you will not be disappointed, I promise.
